Step 3: Check to see if you feel suction on your nger.
Step 2: If there is still no suction, but the Dosatron unit is clicking,
turn the water on. Unscrew and remove the suction hose nut or
clamp and hose.

Step 1: Take a look at the strainer. If it is clogged just clean it out
and retest your Dosatron unit.
NOTE: To service your D14MZ10 you will need a strap wrench
(Part #: TOOL01) and a small at head screw driver.

Step 6: Press the air bleed button on the bell housing a few times
to release the pressure.
Step 5: After you reinstall the suction hose, you should start to see
the liquid begin moving up the hose. If you don’t see liquid moving
up the hose or you don’t feel suction on your nger, turn the water
off.

Step 4: If you feel suction, just cut an inch or so off the top of the
hose and reattach. If the hose is cracked, ridged, or looks really
old just replace it.

Step 9: Unscrew the injection stem nut.
Step 8: Remove the suction hose. Set both aside.

Step 12: Twist the plunger a quarter turn counter clockwise to
disconnect. Set the unit aside.
Step 11: Take a close look at the plunger seal for nicks,
scratches, or wear. If you see damage or don’t remember the
last time you changed the seal, just replace the plunger seal
(Part #: JDI123) now.

Step 10: Pull the injection stem straight out from the body of the
injector and set aside.

Step 15: Reconnect the plunger by aligning the top of the plunger
with the retainer.
Step 14: Install the new plunger seal into the groove on the
plunger.

Step 13: Using a small at head screwdriver, carefully remove the
plunger seal (Part #: JDI123) by rolling it out of the groove.

Step 18: Re-install the injection stem nut, hand tight.
Step 17: To reinstall the injection stem, align the notches in the
lower part of the blue body with the teeth on the top of the injection
stem assembly.
Step 16: Twist it a quarter turn clockwise to lock.

Step 20: After you reinstall the suction hose, your injector should
now be drawing the concentrate.
Step 19: Set the dilution rate to your desired setting.

Step 3: Grab the barb and pull the check valve assembly straight
out. Set the unit aside.
Step 2: Unscrew and remove the check valve nut.
Step 1: Remove the hose nut or clamp and hose and set aside.

Step 6: Inspect all of the check valve parts. If they are dirty, you
may be able to soak, brush off, and reinstall.
NOTE: If you see damage or if you don’t remember the last time
you changed these parts, just replace them now.
Step 5: Remove the spring and cone.
Step 4: To inspect the check valve parts, hold the assembly
and twist the white top guide a quarter turn counter clockwise
to remove.

Step 9: Position the top guide over the shaft.
Step 8: Slide the spring over the shaft.
Step 7: Insert the cone into the top of the barb.

Step 12: You can now reinstall the check valve assembly
into the stem.
Step 11: Give it a tug to make sure everything is in position.
Step 10: Align the guide and twist it a quarter turn clockwise
to lock.

Step 15: Slide it onto the barb and hand tighten the nut or
clamp.This should stop the water from going back into the
concentrate tank.
Step 14: Thread the suction hose nut or clamp onto the hose.
Step 13: Reinstall the check valve nut.

Step 3: Unscrew, remove and set aside.
Step 2: Use the strap wrench to loosen the bell housing.

Step 6: Another way to check the anges is by doing a t test. To
test the upper ange, invert the piston and insert it into the blue
bell housing.
NOTE: It should t snugly.
Step 5: Visually inspect the upper and lower anges on the
piston shell.
Step 4: Grasp the piston and pull it straight out. Set the
body aside.

Step 9: To replace the upper ange, (Part #: PDI643) grasp and
twist it counter clockwise.
Step 8: Insert the piston into the body. It should be a snug t.
NOTE: If either is loose, the anges need to be replaced.
Step 7: To test the lower ange, twist the plunger a quarter turn
counter clockwise and remove.

Step 12: Press it down into place and twist clockwise until it locks.
Step 11: To install the new ange, align the tooth inside the ange
with the notch in the piston shell.
Step 10: Remove by lifting straight up.
