Terminals1&2-Marked“T1,T2”(TAMPER)If aTamperfunction isrequired connecttheseterminalstoa24-hournormallyclosed protective
zone inthe controlunit. If the frontcoverofthe detectorisopened,an immediatealarmsignalwill be senttothe controlunit.
Terminals3&4-Marked“AUDIO:OUT,GND”Thisisthe audiosignaloutput. Thesetwoterminalsshouldbe connected toan audioinput.
Terminals4&5-Marked“VIDEO:GND,OUT”Thisisthe video signaloutput. Thesetwoterminalsshouldbe connected tovideo input.
Terminals6,7&8-Marked“RELAY:NO,COM&NC”Thesearethe outputrelaycontactsofthe detector.Connecttoanormallyclosed or
normallyopened zone inthe controlpanel.

TIMEADJUSTMENT:Switch1&2ofDIP-5Use forSetting “TIME”-providesN.O.relay.(Fouroptions).
Position Left -“OFF”.Position Right-“ON”.
LEDCONTROL:Switch3ofDIP-5,Use forSetting “LED”-LEDEnable/Disable
Position On-LEDENABLE-The REDLEDwill activatewhen the detectorisinalarmcondition.
Position Off -LEDDISABLE-The LEDisdisabled.
NOTE:the stateofthe switch“LED”doesnotaffectthe operation ofthe relay.When an intrusion isdetected,the LEDwill activateand the alarm
relaywill switchintoalarmcondition for2sec.
PIRSENSITIVITYADJUSTMENT:Switch4ofDIP-5.Use forSetting “PULSE”-providessensitivitycontrolofthe PIRaccording tothe
environment.

the potentiometercounter-clockwisetodecreasevolume.
TEST PROCEDURE:
Waitforone minutewarmup timeafterapplying 12 Vdcpower.Conducttesting withthe protected area cleared ofall people.
Walktest1.Removefrontcover.SetLEDtoONposition.2.Reassemblethe frontcover.3.Startwalking slowlyacross the detection zone.
4.Observethatthe red LEDlightswhenevermotion isdetected.5.Allow5sec.between eachtestforthe detectortostabilize.6.Afterthe walk
testiscompleted,you can setthe LEDtoOFF position.
NOTE:Walktestsshouldbe conducted,atleastonceayear,toconfirmproperoperation and coverage of

Passiveinfraredmotion detectorsoperatebysensingchangesintemperature.Howevertheireffectivenesscan be reduced whentheambienttemperaturerisesnearorabovebodytemperatureorifthereareintentionalorunintentionalsources
ofheatinornearthedetectionarea.Someoftheseheatsourcescouldbeheaters,radiators,stoves,barbeques,fireplaces,sunlight, steamvents,lighting and soon.
