The DSE7520 is an Automatic
Mains (Uti ity) Fai ure Contro
Modu e designed to provide
advanced oad share functiona ity
for diese and gas generating sets
that inc ude non e ectronic and
e ectronic engines, for sing e set
app ications and para e with
mains. The modu e a so provides
exce ent monitoring and protection
features.
The modu e monitors the mains
(uti ity) supp y and upon detection
of a oss in power automatica y
starts the generating set.
The modu e’s synchronising
functions inc ude automatic
synchronising with bui t in
synchroscope and c osing onto dead
bus. Direct and f exib e outputs from
the modu e are provided to a ow
connection to the most common y
used speed governors and
automatic votage regu ators (AVRs).
The modu e has the abi ity to
monitor generator under/over
vo ts, over current, generator
under/over frequency, under
speed, over speed, charge fai ,
emergency stop, ow oi pressure,
high engine temperature, fai to
start, ow/high DC battery vo ts, fai
to stop, generator short circuit
protection, reverse power,
generator phase rotation error,
earth fau t protection, oss of
speed signa , fai to open, fai to
c ose, out of sync, open circuit
fai ure, negative phase sequence
and oss of excitation.
