2.1.2 Für Klasse: 767-AE-5-73 –Remove the slide.
–Remove the throat plate.
–Feed dog; remove the front screw and push it to the side.
–Loosen hook fastening screws and remove the hook.
–Remove the thread-pulling knife.
–Remove the counter-knife.
–Insert the CLB-hook, tighten the fastening screws (first screw
in the direction of rotation on the flat spot).
2.2 Checking the hook setting
For both classes: 767-FAS-573 and 767-AE-5-73
–Looping stroke; see appendix (Service instruction
chapter 4.1, p. 15).
–Needle bar height; see appendix (Service instruction
chapter 4.2, p. 16).
–Distance between hook and needle; see appendix (Service
instruction chapter 4.3, p. 17).
–Needle guard; see appendix (Service instruction
chapter 4.4, p. 18).
2.3 Assembling the components
2.3.1 Class: 767-FAS-573 –Set the feed dog and tighten the screws.
–Mount the throat plate.
–Mount the counter-knife.
–Mount the thread-pulling knife.
–Check the bobbin case lifter setting:
Bobbin case opening; see appendix (Service instruction
chapter 6.1, p. 24).
–Insert bobbin and thread the machine; see bobbin threading
scheme.
–Insert the slide and close it.
2.3.2 Class: 767-AE-5-73 –Set the feed dog and tighten the screws.
–Mount the throat plate.
–Check the bobbin case lifter setting:
Bobbin case opening; see appendix (Service instruction
chapter 6.1, p. 24).
–Insert bobbin and thread the machine; see bobbin threading
scheme.
–Insert the slide and close it.
