Your Dynarex product is warrantied to be free of defects in materials
and workmanship for the lifetime of the product for the original
purchaser. This item was built to exacting standards and carefully
inspected prior to shipment. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is an
expression of our confidence in the materials and workmanship
of our products and our assurance to the consumer of years of
dependable service.
The Warranty shall not apply under the following conditions:
problems arising from normal wear; problems arising from failure to
adhere to the product instructions; problems arising from misuse,
negligence, accident or improper operation, maintenance or storage;
problems arising from modifications or unauthorized repairs, parts or
attachments; products where the serial number has been removed
or defaced; problems with non-durable components, such as rubber
accessories, casters, and grips, which are subject to normal wear
and need periodic replacement. Dynarex shall not be liable for any
consequential or incidental damages whatsoever. Dynarex shall
repair or replace defective products at its option. The foregoing
warranty is exclusive and in lieu of other express warranties, if any,
including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness of
a particular purpose. The remedy for any violation of the implied
warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective
product pursuant to the terms contained herein.

For maximum safety, these precautions must be taken when using
this product. DO NOT install or use this equipment without first
reading and understanding these instructions. If you are unable
to understand the warnings, cautions or instructions, contact a
healthcare professional, dealer or technical personnel before
attempting to install this equipment – otherwise, injury may occur.
FOR USERS TO READ BEFORE USE
1. Use only as directed by a health care provider.
2. Length must be correctly adjusted to user’s height.
3. Spring button must be engaged and fully protruding through the
adjustment hole and the collar must be tightened.
4. Check that tips are not worn, ripped, cracked, or have excessive
wear. If any of these conditions exist, replace the rubber tip
immediately.
5. The cane handle should be fully inserted into the hand grip.
6. Do not use if the user’s weight is over 250 lb. for canes, 300 lb. for
quad canes, and 500 lb. for bariatric canes.
7. Canes are designed to provide support, increased stability and
assistance while walking. The canes are NOT designed to support
the total weight of individuals.
8. Do not use if user has any handicaps and/or disabilities or is
taking any medication, etc. that a doctor, therapist and/or seller
believes could cause interference with the safe use of the product.

Do not use if there are any loose components, rattles, cracks, dents
or other uncustomary characteristics in the metal, plastic, etc.

11. Use the utmost care when using a cane. Watch out for potential
safety hazards including, but not limited to, slippery, uneven or
soft surfaces and objects in your path.
1. Loosen the anti-rattle collar. Depending on the model, either
turn the collar counterclockwise to loosen, turn the lock knob to
loosen, or lift the plastic lever on the collar.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Quad canes (Reorder Nos. 10136-10138) can be adjusted for both
left or right hand use by following these easy steps:
1. Loosen the lock knob.
2. Depress the spring button while rotating the handle 180 degrees.
3. Engage the spring button in the hole which accommodates the
user’s height.
4. Retighten the lock knob. NOTE: the 45 degree angled legs on
quad canes should be placed farthest from the user’s body when
the cane is being used.
ADJUSTING QUAD CANE FOR RIGHT/LEFT USE
For a more comfortable fit, ensure shoe height is the same as shoe
style worn most frequently when using cane:
1. Stand as upright as possible on a firm, flat surface and let your
arm hang down naturally by your side.
2. Adjust cane so top portion of handle touches inside of wrist
where it meets palm.

CLEANING
Clean the grips with a mild soap, detergent or household cleaner.
Do not use an organic solvent (such as acetone, MEK, lacquer
thinner, lighter fluid, dr y cleaning fluid, gasoline or turpentine) that
may dissolve the plastic and cause the grip to loosen.
2. Press the snap button so that it enters the shaft of the cane.
3. Slide extension up or down until snap button protrudes through an
adjustment hole on handle end of cane.
NOTE: An audible “CLICK” will be heard when snap button
securely protrudes through the adjustment hole.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 until cane is at height determined.

5. Tighten the anti-rattle collar.
