Reading and storing these instructions
These instructions are for this USB or battery powered 5" fan (referred to
as “fan” below). They contain important information on setup and
handling.
Before using the fan, read the instructions for use carefully. This
particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in serious
injury or damage to the fan.
Store these instructions for any further use. Make sure to include these instructions
when passing the fan on to third parties.
Proper use
The fan is designed exclusively for indoor areas. It is only intended for personal use
and is not suitable for commercial use.
Only use the fan as described in the instructions. Any other use is considered
improper and can result in material damage or even in harm to persons. The fan is
not a toy.
The manufacturer or retailer assumes no liability for damage resulting from
improper or incorrect use.

General safety information
WARNING!
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed. Please read and save all instructions before
using the fan. Keep away from water!
− To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse USB
cable or plug in water or any other liquid. This is an electrical
appliance. To avoid the risk of electrical shock or serious
personal injury, always operate with dry hands.
− Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being
used by or near children. This fan is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the fan by a person responsible for their
safety.
− This product is intended for indoor household use only and
not for commercial or industrial appliances.
− Do not allow the fan to be used as a toy.
− ALWAYS turn the fan off before removing the USB cable from
the power source.
− ALWAYS turn the fan off, unplug it and remove all batteries
before cleaning.
− To protect against electrical hazards, do not place the fan in
water or other liquids.
− DO NOT allow the fan to become wet or damp.
− DO NOT store the fan where it can fall into water or other
liquids.
− Turn the fan off when leaving the fan for an extended period.
− NEVER submerge the fan in water or any other liquids.

− Use the fan only for its intended use as described in these
operating instructions.
− DO NOT operate any appliance if the USB cable or plugs are
damaged, after the appliance has malfunctioned, or after it
has been dropped or damaged in any way. Always follow the
warranty instructions.
− Avoid contact with moving parts.
− DO NOT obstruct the airflow.
− NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening OR into the
area protected by the guards.
− DO NOT operate the fan without the front guard/grill in place.
− DO NOT operate the fan directly adjacent to curtains, plants,
window covers, etc. to avoid accidental entanglement or
create a fire hazard.
− To maintain operating efficiency, user should not operate the
fan 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
− The use of attachments is not recommended and may cause
hazards.
WARNING!
Although your fan is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings
below must be followed:
− Do not place the fan near a heat source.
− Use the fan on a stable flat surface away from water.
− Do not unplug the USB cable by pulling on the cable.
− The fan must be unplugged:
− After each use.
− If it appears to be faulty.
− Before cleaning or maintenance.

Battery hazards!
If you use batteries improperly, there is a risk of explosions or
chemical burns caused by battery acid.
− Never short circuit the batteries.
− Never dismantle the batteries.
− Never throw batteries into fire.
− Never expose batteries to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
− Never open batteries.
− Only use batteries of the same type.
− Ensure the correct polarity when inserting the batteries.
− Never use new and used batteries together.
− Change all batteries in a set at the same time.
− Do not charge any non-rechargeable batteries.
− Promptly remove empty batteries.
− Only touch leaky batteries with gloves. If you do happen to
come into contact with battery acid, wash the affected area
thoroughly with clean water. If battery fluid comes into contact
with your eyes or mucous membranes, you should also seek
medical attention immediately.
− Keep batteries away from children.

Checking the fan and the package contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you open the packaging carelessly using a sharp knife or other
sharp objects, the fan may become damaged.
1. Remove the fan from the packaging
2. Check the package for completeness (see Fig.A).
3. Check whether the fan or the individual parts are damaged. If this is the case, do
not use the fan. Contact the manufacturer via the service address indicated on the
warranty card.
Inserting or changing batteries
1. Open the battery compartment cover 8(see Fig.C).
2. Remove the old batteries first if they are still in the compartment.
3. Insert four 1.5 V , type AA/LR6 batteries into the battery compartment. Make
sure the polarity of the batteries (+/-) is correct.
4. Put the battery compartment cover back onto the housing. Make sure it is
correctly positioned and it is secure.
Power sources
There are two modes in which the fan is powered: via batteries and via a USB cable.
1. To use the fan using the included USB cable, insert the USB plug 2into a laptop,
computer, a USB power adapter etc., then insert the power connector 3into the
power input 1.
2. Battery operation automatically switches off when the fan is powered via the
USB cable.
3. There is no need to insert or remove batteries when using the fan in the
USB power mode.

The fan has three speed levels: LOW, MID and HIGH.
1. Place the fan on a stable and firm surface.
2. Adjust the angle of the fan to the desired air output direction.
3. To switch on the fan, press the power button 7(see Fig.B). The fan will switch
on at the LOW speed level. See speed indicator 5
4. To increase the speed level to MID, press the power button 7once. The speed
indicator 5will change to MID.
5. To increase the speed level to HIGH, press the power button 7once again. The
speed indicator 5will change to HIGH.
6. Press the power button 7a fourth time to switch off the fan.
Timer Function
The fan has three time settings: 4H (4 hours), 2H (2 hours) and 1 H (1 hour).
1. Power on the fan by pressing the power button 7. The timer indicator 4will
not be illuminated. This means that the fan is in an ALWAYS ON state.
2. By pressing the timer button 6once, the three lights of timer indicator 4will
be lit, indicating that the timer is active for 4 hours. The fan automatically switches
off after this time.
3. By pressing the timer button 6once again, only 2 lights of timer indicator 4
will be lit, indicating that the timer is active for 2 hours. The fan automatically
switches off after this time.
4. By pressing the timer button 6once again, only 1 light of timer indicator 4will
be lit, indicating that the timer is active for 1 hour. The fan automatically switches
off after this time.
5. By pressing the timer button 6a fourth time, the timer indicator 4will be not
be illuminated, indicating that the timer is inactive and the fan is in an ALWAYS ON
state again.

CAUTION!
Always be sure that the appliance is switched OFF before cleaning
the appliance or attempting to store the item.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE FAN IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. DO
NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL TO CLEAN THE SURFACE!
1. Before cleaning, turn the fan off, remove all batteries and unplug
the USB cable from the fan.
2. Wipe off excess dust with a lint free cloth.
3. A vacuum cleaner brush attachment can be used to clean the
fan guards. This will help remove lint and dirt from inside the
fan. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE THE FAN APART.
A can of compressed air may also be used to help push any
excess dirt out of the fan and into the vacuum cleaner.
4. DO NOT immerse the fan in water, and never allow the water to
enter the motor housing.
5. DO NOT use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean
the fan.

Comprobación del ventilador y el contenido del paquete
¡AVISO!
¡Riesgo de daños!
Si no tiene cuidado al abrir el embalaje con un cuchillo u otro objeto
afilado, puede dañar fácilmente el ventilador.
1. Saque el ventilador de su embalaje
2. Verifique que no falte ninguna pieza (ver la Fig.A).
3. Compruebe si el ventilador o alguna de sus piezas están dañados. De ser así,
no use el ventilador. Comuníquese con el fabricante utilizando la dirección de
servicio indicada en la tarjeta de garantía.
Insertar o cambiar las pilas
1. Abra la tapa del compartimiento de las pilas 8(ver laFig.C).
2. Quite las pilas viejas primero si todavía se encuentran en el compartimiento.
3. Inserte cuatro pilas de 1.5V , de tipo AA/LR6, en el compartimiento de las
pilas. Asegúrese de que la polaridad de las pilas (+/-) sea correcta.
4. Vuelva a poner la tapa en el compartimiento de las pilas. Asegúrese de que esté
bien colocada en su lugar.
Fuente de alimentación
El ventilador puede alimentarse de dos modos: con pilas o mediante un cable USB.
1. Para usar el ventilador con el cable USB que se incluye, inserte el conector USB
2en un laptop, computadora, adaptador USB, etc., y a continuación, inserte el
conector de alimentación 3en la entrada de alimentación 1.
2. La alimentación a pilas se desconecta automáticamente al alimentar la unidad
con el cable USB.
3. No es necesario insertar o quitar las pilas al usar el ventilador en el modo de
