General information

General information
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed. PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE AIR
CIRCULATOR FAN.
1. This product is intended for indoor household use only and not for commercial or
industrial applications.
2. ALWAYS turn the fan off before removing the plug from the outlet.
3. ALWAYS turn the fan off and unplug it immediately after using and before cleaning.
4. To protect against electrical hazards, do not place the fan in water or other liquids.
5. DO NOT allow the fan to become wet or damp.
6. DO NOT store the fan where it can fall into water or other liquids.
7. Turn the fan off when leaving the fan for an extended period.
8. NEVER submerge the fan in water or any other liquids.
9. Use the fan only for its intended use as described in these operating instructions.
10. DO NOT unplug by pulling on the cord. To unplug the fan, grasp the plug, not the cord.
11. DO NOT operate any appliance if its cord or plug is damaged, after the appliance has
malfunctioned, or after it has been dropped or damaged in any way. Always follow
the warranty instructions.
12. Avoid contact with moving parts.
13. NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening OR into the area protected by the
guards.
14. DO NOT obstruct the airflow.
15. DO NOT operate the fan without the front guard/grill in place.
16. DO NOT operate the fan directly adjacent to curtains, plants, window covers, etc. to
avoid accidental entanglement or create a fire hazard.
17. DO NOT use the fan if it has not been fully assembled.
18. Keep the cord away from heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put cord
under rugs, radiators or stoves.
19. To maintain operating efficiency, user should not operate the fan 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.
20. NOTE: This fan employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an
overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the fan from the outlet.
Replace the fuse and check the fan. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may
be present and you should contact customer service for instructions.
21. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use this fan with any
solid-state speed control device.

CAUTION:
WARNING: Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in electric shock, fire or serious personal injury. The
warnings, cautions, and instruction discussed in this instruction manual cannot
cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood
by the operator that common sense and caution are a factor which cannot be
built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
CAUTION: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal
injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care
is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is required, special care and caution
is necessary. Also the cord must be: (1) marked with an electrical rating of 125V,
and at least 13 A., 1625 W., and (2) the cord must be arranged so that it will not
drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over accidentally.
Polarized plug
NOTE:
This fan has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended
to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.
Electric power
If electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your air circulator fan may
not operate properly. The air circulator fan should be operated on a separate
electrical circuit from other operating appliances.

Safety warning
Although your air circulator fan is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings
below must be followed:
1. Do not place the fan near a heat source.
2. Never leave the fan unattended while connected to the electrical outlet.
3. Use the fan on a stable flat surface away from water.
4. Do not unplug from the wall socket by pulling on the supply cord.
5. The fan must be unplugged:
A. After each use.
B. If it appears to be faulty.
C. Before cleaning or maintenance.

User instructions
1. Place the fan on a level and dry surface. Plug the power cord into a polarized
120V AC wall outlet.
2. Select the desired speed O (Off), L (Low), M (Medium), H (High).
3. Adjust the angle of the fan to the desired air output direction.
4. To move the fan, turn fan OFF and use concealed carrying handle on back of
fan.
Wall Mounting (optional)
1. Locate and mark a suitable position on the wall to mount the fan (preferably
at a wall stud).
2. Hold the fan against the wall at the location you would like it to be installed.
3. Use a pencil to mark the location of the mount opening screw holes on the
base of the fan. Place fan aside and drill pilot holes through the marks you
have made on the wall.
4. Insert anchors (not included) into the holes.
5. Place mount screws (not included) through the holes in the wall mount
openings, and then place the fan into position on the wall.
6. Tighten the screws until the wall mount is flush against the wall.
7. Once securely attached to the wall, the fan can be plugged into an electrical
outlet.

Cleaning and Maintenance
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the appliance is switched OFF before cleaning the appliance
or attempting to store the item. DO NOT IMMERSE THE AIR CIRCULATOR FAN IN
WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
1. Before cleaning, turn the fan off and unplug from electrical outlet.
2. Wipe off excess dust with a lint free cloth.
3. A vacuum cleaner brush attachment can be used to clean the fan guards. This
will help remove lint and dirt from inside the fan. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE
THE FAN APART.
NOTE: A can of compressed air may also be used to help push any excess dirt
out of the fan and into the vacuum cleaner.
4. DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow the water to enter the
motor housing.
5. DO NOT use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan.
DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL TO CLEAN THE SURFACE!
DO NOT IMMERSE THE AIR CIRCULATOR FAN INTO WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID!

Información general
Al usar aparatos electrodomésticos, siempre se deben seguir las precauciones de
seguridad básicas. POR FAVOR, LEA Y GUARDE TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES
ANTES DE USAR EL VENTILADOR CIRCULADOR DE AIRE.
1. Este producto está diseñado solamente para uso doméstico, no para usos comerciales
o industriales.
2. Apague SIEMPRE el ventilador antes de extraer el enchufe del tomacorriente.
3. Apague SIEMPRE el ventilador y desenchúfelo de inmediato después de usarlo y antes
de limpiarlo.
4. Para protegerse contra peligros de tipo eléctrico, no sumerja el ventilador en agua ni
en ningún otro líquido.
5. NO permita que el ventilador se moje o humedezca.
6. NO guarde el ventilador donde pueda caer al agua u otros líquidos.
7. Apague el ventilador si no va a estar presente por un tiempo prolongado.
8. NUNCA sumerja el ventilador en agua u otros líquidos.
9. Use el ventilador solo para el uso previsto descrito en las instrucciones de uso.
10. NO desconectar tirando del cable. Para desenchufar el ventilador, agarre el enchufe,
no el cable.
11. NO use ningún aparato si el cable o enchufe está dañado o si se averió, cayó o dañó

18. Mantenga el cable alejado de zonas concurridas. Para evitar el riesgo de incendio, no
ponga NUNCA el cable bajo alfombras, radiadores o estufas.
19. Para mantener la eficiencia, el usuario no debe utilizar el ventilador las 24 horas del
día, los siete días de la semana.
20. NOTA: Este ventilador cuenta con protección contra sobrecargas (fusible). El fusible se
quemará ante una sobrecarga o un cortocircuito. Si el fusible se quema, desconecte el
ventilador del tomacorriente. Sustituya el fusible y compruebe el ventilador. Si el
fusible de repuesto se quema, es posible que exista un cortocircuito; póngase en
contacto con el servicio de atención al cliente para recibir instrucciones.

Energía eléctrica

Modo de empleo
1. Coloque el ventilador sobre una superficie plana, seca y nivelada. Enchufe el
cable de alimentación en un tomacorriente de pared polarizado de 120 V CA.
2. Seleccione la velocidad deseada O (Apagado), L (Baja), M (Media), H (Alta).
3. Ajuste el ángulo del ventilador hacia la dirección de salida de aire deseada.
4. Para mover el ventilador, APAGUE el ventilador y use el mango oculto de
traslado que está detrás del ventilador.
Para montar en la pared (opcional)
1. Ubique y señale una posición adecuada en la pared para montar el ventilador
(de preferencia en un montante).
2. Sujete el ventilador contra la pared en el lugar en el que le gustaría instalarlo.
3. Use un lápiz para marcar la ubicación de los agujeros para atornillar los
orificios de la montura de la base del ventilador. Ponga el ventilador a un lado
y taladre agujeros pilotos a través de las marcas que ha hecho en la pared.
4. Inserte los taquetes (no incluidos) en los agujeros.
5. Coloque los tornillos de montaje (no incluidos) a través de los agujeros en los
orificios de montaje de la pared y después coloque el ventilador en posición
en la pared.
6. Ajuste los tornillos hasta que la montura quede pegada contra la pared.
7. Una vez que el ventilador esté bien montado a la pared, puede enchufarlo en
un tomacorriente eléctrico.

PRECAUCIÓN:
Siempre asegúrese de que el aparato esté APAGADO y desconectado antes de
limpiarlo o de intentar guardarlo. NO LO SUMERJA EN AGUA NI EN NINGÚN
OTRO LÍQUIDO.
1. Antes de limpiar el ventilador, apáguelo y desconéctelo del tomacorriente.
2. Quite el exceso de polvo con un trapo que no deje pelusas.
3. Se puede utilizar el accesorio de cepillo de la aspiradora para limpiar los
protectores del ventilador. Esto ayudará a quitar la pelusa y la mugre que se
encuentre dentro del ventilador. NO INTENTE DESARMAR EL VENTILADOR.
NOTA: También puede utilizarse un bote de aire comprimido para expulsar el
exceso de suciedad del ventilador y succionarlo con la aspiradora.
4. NO sumerja el ventilador en agua y nunca permita que el agua se meta en la
carcasa del motor.
5. NO use gasolina, solvente de pintura, ni ningún otro químico para limpiar el
ventilador.
6. NO use limpiadores abrasivos para limpiar el ventilador.
