Plug t e power cord into a wall socket (do not
use extension cord) and turn on t e unit by
turning t e control knob. (see Fig. 10)

T e Power Lig t will turn on red. In a few seconds it will switc to green,
indicating t at enoug water is in t e water basin, and mist will start emitting
t roug t e openings at water tank lid.

Use t e umidity output regulator control knob to
adjust t e intensity of t e mist output. Turning t e
knob clockwise will increase t e moisture output,
turning t e knob counterclockwise wit reduce
t e moisture output. (see Fig. 10) Note: W en at
maximum level it is normal to ear a faint
dripping sound.

T is is a safety feature to prevent t e umidifier from possibly over eating and damaging t e
nebulizer. T is safety feature uses a water level sensor to stop t e nebulizer once t e water level
sinks below t e required level in t e water basin. Turn t e umidifier off and unplug before
removing and refilling t e water tank. Please note t at t e Power Lig t on t e umidifier body
will stay on. T e (red) lig t signal indicates t at t e umidifier is turned on and needs to be
refilled.

•It is best to keep t e umidity level at about 30-50 percent of relative umidity.
•T e comfort level of umidity will vary from room to room and wit c anging room conditions.
•In cold weat er, windows and even some walls may fog or develop frost from excessive indoor
umidity. If t is occurs, reduce t e mist intensity setting to avoid damage from condensed water
dripping on windowsills.
•Too muc umidity in t e room may allow moisture to accumulate on surfaces w ere bacteria
and fungi can grow. Moisture t at gat ers may also damage furniture and walls, especially
wallpaper.
•To eliminate excessive umidity, especially in small rooms, leave t e room door open and adjust
t e mist intensity control setting.

Portable umidifiers require regular cleaning in order to reduce t e risk of bacterial growt and
also to remove any scale residue to maintain good operational performance. Follow t e
procedures below for ealt y maintenance of your Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier

1. Fill water tank wit 1 teaspoon of ouse old bleac in 1 gallon of water. Let stand twenty
minutes, s aking vigorously wit two ands every few minutes, drain and rinse wit clean
water until t e bleac smell is gone. Dry wit a clean clot or paper towel.
2. Wipe t e water basin wit a soft clot dampened in t e bleac and water solution. Rinse t e
water basin wit cool water to remove any bleac smell. DO NOT IMMERSE WATER BASIN IN
WATER.
3. Wipe all exterior surfaces of t e base wit a soft, dry clot . Do not immerse t e base in water
or use water to clean t e base. An electric s ock may result or t e umidifier may be
damaged.

after using t e umidifier every fourt time or if cleaning seems necessary.

Before any cleaning operation, switc t e umidifier off and unplug it.
1. Always unplug t e unit before cleaning.
2. T e umidifier must be drained and cleaned before storing.
3. Once unplugged t e exterior of t e unit may be cleaned by wiping wit a soft dry clot .
Caution: T e ON/OFF switc must be t oroug ly dry before unit is again plugged into power
source.
4. T ere may be some lime deposits in t e nebulizer, particularly in areas wit ard water.
Overcome t is drawback by cleaning t e nebulizer wit water and vinegar on a soft clot
regularly, as follows:
•Dampen a clot wit vinegar and wipe t e nebulizer gently, until t e lime deposits
disappear completely.
•Rub down gently wit a dry clot and remove remains of umidity.
•Do not rub t e nebulizer wit solid objects.
•Do not clean wit c emical products
5. W en cleaning t e water basin do not place t e nebulizer directly under t e water tap.
6. Never immerse t e unit in water or let water enter t e fan vent (see figure 3)

7. It is normal for water to be in t e water basin. However water must not get inside t e central
body. If t is s ould appen, take t e umidifier to an aut orized service center before using it
again.
8. Clean t e inside of t e water tank at least once a week, as follows:
•Fill t e tank wit clean water adding a few drops of bleac . Close t e tank completely
wit its cap and s ake by olding t e tank wit bot ands. Do not old by andle
w ile s aking t e tank.
•Rinse t oroug ly.

To clean t e water float unscrew t e plastic cap from t e pin. Remove t e water
float and clean by wiping t e parts wit a soft damp clot . Replace t e parts by
first putting t e water float onto t e pin and re-screwing t e plastic cap onto pin.

Allow t e umidifier to dry completely before storing. Store t e umidifier in a dry location. Do
not place any eavy items on top of umidifier during storage as t is may result in possible
damage of t e appliance. Always c eck t e plug before use to assure metal items ave not

assembled properly.
Clean water float

If umidifier does not work at all:

Ensure it is properly plugged into a power
