securely. Place t e medicine cup on top of t e mist c annel.

•Use t e On/Off dial to adjust t e intensity of t e mist output by selecting
eit er (1) for lower mist output or (2) for ig er mist output.
•W en t e umidifier runs out of water t e blue power lig t will turn off and t e mist output will
stop. T is safety feature uses a water level sensor to turn off t e eating element once t e
water level sinks below t e required level in t e water basin. A small orange lig t will appear
to indicate t at t e umidifier as automatically turned off. Turn t e umidifier off and unplug
before removing and refilling t e water tank.

W en t e umidifier runs out of water, t e BLUE lig t will turn off and mist will stop. If t e unit as
over eated, a small RED lig t will turn on (lig t will appear near t e “2” on Control Knob). T e RED
lig t indicates t at t e unit as over eated. Turn t e umidifier off, unplug t e unit, allow t e
basin and water to cool, t en empty water in basin. Turn t e umidifier basin over and press t e
Reset Button, wit a pen or pencil tip, on t e bottom of t e Water Basin. T is will reset t e
umidifier.

T e medicine cup allows t e addition of medications recommended for use wit warm mist
umidifiers only.
•
Remove t e medicine cup from t e top of t e
mist c amber for easier filling.
•BE CAREFUL not to overfill t e medicine cup.
Overfilling may cause medicine to spill into
mist c amber. Medicine in t e mist c amber
may affect t e operation of t e umidifier.
•Place medicine cup on top of t e mist
c amber.
•DO NOT add any medication or ot er additives
directly to t e water.
A NOTE ABOUT HUMIDITY
•It is best to keep t e umidity level at about 30-50 percent of relative umidity.
•T e comfort level of umidity will vary from room to room and wit c anging weat er
conditions.
•In cold weat er, windows and even some walls may fog or develop frost from excessive
indoor umidity. If t is occurs, reduce t e mist intensity setting to avoid damage from
condensed water dripping on windowsills.
•Too muc umidity in t e room may allow moisture to accumulate on surfaces w ere
bacteria and fungi can grow. Moisture t at gat ers may also damage furniture and walls,
especially wallpaper.
•To eliminate excessive umidity, especially in small rooms, leave t e room door open and
adjust t e mist intensity control setting.

and to remove any scale residue to maintain good operational performance. Follow t e

1. Turn switc to off (O) and unplug from t e wall outlet.
2. Be sure t e unit as cooled for at least 15 minutes. Lift t e water tank from base and place in
sink or tub.
3. Carry t e umidifier base to t e sink and drain any remaining water. Wipe clean and dry
wit a clean clot .
4. Drain water from t e water tank. Wipe clean, and dry wit a clean clot . Let t e water tank
air dry w en not in use.

NOTE: We recommend cleaning the humidifier weekly or more often if you have hard water or notice a
build-up of impurities or detect unpleasant odors.

1. To remove t e mist c amber, slide t e mist c amber latc
to t e left and carefully lift t e mist c amber off t e water
basin.
2. Fill t e eating element wit undiluted w ite vinegar.
3. Let stand for 20 minutes. Dampen soft, clean clot or
sponge wit undiluted w ite vinegar and wipe out
eating element to remove scale. DO NOT use soap,
detergents or abrasive cleaners.
4. Rinse eating element using clean warm water, being
careful not to submerge t e base in t e water. Dry
t oroug ly. DO NOT IMMERSE WATER BASIN IN WATER.
5. Soak t e removable mist c amber in a solution of equal
parts w ite vinegar and water for 20 minutes. Rinse
t oroug ly and t en wipe dry wit a soft clean clot .
6. To attac t e mist c amber, slide t e mist c amber latc
to t e left and place t e mist c amber onto t e water
basin. Release t e latc to secure t e mist c amber to t e
water basin.
