Breaker Replacement Procedure
The breakers are mounted on the lower rail. Use the following procedure to
replace the two different styles of breakers that Smartrise uses: Pushbutton and
Single-Throw breakers.
Pushbutton Breakers:
Single-Throw Breakers:
1. Turn off Main Disconnect Power.
2. Label and remove the wiring from the breaker to be
replaced.
3. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the slot on the
end and pull it back towards the main body of the
breaker. Remove the breaker from the mounting
rail.
4. Install the new breaker onto the rail.
5. Install the wiring removed in Step #2 on the new
breaker.
** Installation is now complete **
1. Turn off Main Disconnect Power.
2. Label and remove the wiring from the breaker to be
replaced.
3. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the small black
tab at the base of the breaker and pull it out away
from the breaker. Remove the breaker from the
mounting rail.
4. Install the new breaker onto the rail. Make sure the
black tab is pushed back in, otherwise the breaker
won’t secure to rail.
5. Install the wiring removed in Step #2 on the new
breaker.
** Installation is now complete **
