Installation Guide
The FireCell Radio Sounder Weather Resistant Kit (FC-179-002) is designed for use with all
FireCell Radio Sounder and Beacon variants.
Parts Supplied with the FC-179-002 Weather Resistant Kit:

It is re ommended that the Kit is assembled in the following order:
STEP 6 – Fit the Larger O-Ring (item 5)
to the Perspex Mounting Plate
STEP 1 –
Remove the
Sounder Head
STEP 2 – Fit the Rubber Plug (item 7) into the
cavity on the Sounder Head
STEP 7 – Fit the Radio Sounder on to the
Perspex Mounting Plate (Item 2) with the
O-Ring between them.
STEP 3 – Fit the Smaller O-Ring (Item 6) to the
top of the Sounder Base
STEP 8 – The Sounders and plates holes
should align as shown. Secure the Sounder
to the Perspex Mounting Plate using the
washers and screws (items 1 and 3)
STEP 4 - Attach the Sounder Head to the
Sounder Base
STEP 9 – Fix the weather resistant
sounder securely to the wall using suitable
4mm countersunk screws. Note: The
rubber plug should be located at the
bottom of the device
STEP 5 – Remove the Sounders Base and the
three exposed screws
