INITIAL SETUP
Before you take your new tent on a camping trip, you
need to set it up to become familiar with it and allow the
material to air out.
SELECT YOUR CAMPSITE
Find a level spot that is protected from wind. Clear any
debris that may puncture the tent oor. Also, choose a site
that will drain well in the event that it rains. (Fig. 1)
UNROLL THE TENT AND ASSEMBLE THE POLES
a. Unroll the tent body and lay the oor at on the ground.
Unzip the door. Unfold the poles and allow them to slide
together. (Fig. 2)
STAKE OUT THE TENT FLOOR
b. Although this tent is a freestanding unit, you need to
stake out the oor for greater safety and stability. If your
tent is exposed to high winds, it will need to be secured to
the ground.
ERECT THE TENT
c. In middle of the tent, feed one male-ended angle pole
through the strap on the corner of the roof and through
the sleeve in the center. Feed a female-ended angle pole
through the strap and connect to the male-ended pole in
the center of tent. Attach one center metal pole (3 section)
to the opposite end of the angle pole. Insert metal pin
attached to tent into center pole at ground level. Repeat for
other side with second center pole. (Fig. 3)
d. For the ends of the tent, repeat this process twice
using the angle metal poles and corner metal poles (2
section). (Fig. 4)
e. Insert vestibule poles into the awning grommets
and tie guy ropes at each corner to ensure it is secure.
(Fig. 5)
f. On the inside of the tent, hang the divider wall with the
zipper opening towards the oor. (Fig. 6)
