• Thisproductisonlysuitableforconnectionto240V~50Hzsupply.Itisrecommendedthatthislightis
installedbyaqualiedelectricianinaccordancewithcurrentIEEWiringRegulationsandlocalBuilding

• Beforeinstallingyourlightttingalwaysswitchoffthemainssupplyandremovetheappropriatefuseor
switchofftheappropriatecircuitbreakerbeforecommencinginstallation.
• ThisisaClassItting,andmust be connected to Earth. Theterminalblocksaresuppliedaccordingto
requirementsofthetting.
• Runsupplywirefroma5-ampelectricalsupplyusingdoubleinsulated3-corecableoftypeH05RN-F
1.0mm2(notsupplied)toselectedsite,ensuringitisadequatelyprotectedthroughthefulllengthofthe
cablerun,itmustcomeoutoftheatsurfaceofthemountingsurfaceinlinewiththeentrytothetting.
• Exceptwhereinstalledinaconduitorduct,whichprovidesequivalentprotectionagainstmechanical
damage,acableburiedinthegroundshallincorporateanearthedarmourormetalsheathorboth,suitable
foruseasaprotectiveconductor,orbeofinsulatedconcentricconstruction.Buriedcablesshallbemarked
bycablecoversorasuitablemarkingtape.Buriedconduitsandductsshallbesuitablyidentied.Buried
cables,conduitsandductsshallbeatasufcientdepthtoavoidbeingdamagedbyanyreasonably
foreseeabledisturbanceoftheground.
• Nevertbulbsofahigherwattagethanthosespeciedonthelabel(asthesemaycauseoverheatingand
damagethetting).
• Thisproductcontainsdelicateparts.Takecareduringinstallationandmaintenancetoavoidbreakages
• Ifyouareinanydoubtaboutyourcompetencepleaseconsultaqualiedelectrician.
• Ifanymodicationismadeitwillinvalidatethewarrantyandmayrendertheproductunsafe.
• Thisproductmustonlybeinstalledtoasolid,xedsurface,suchasconcrete,deckingorpavingslabs.It

The following tools may be required:
Selectionofcrossandatheadscrewdrivers.
Electricdrillandassorteddrillbits.
Wirestrippers.
Electricalinsulationtape.
Theseassemblydiagramsareintendedasaguide–ifindoubtconsultaqualiedelectrician.

1. Determinethepositionofyourlightttingtakingintoaccounttheentrypositionofthecableandmakesure
thereissufcientcablecomingoutoftheoortoconnecttotheterminalblock.Ensurethatthemounting
surfaceissolid,preferablyabrickorblockoorandensurethattherearenoothercablesorpipesbeneath
thesurface.
2. DiagramA:Connectthehousewiringtotheterminalblock(Fig2.).Removetheterminalbracketfromthe
base.Removetheterminalblockboxlid.Connectthemainssupply.Replaceterminalblockboxlid.Replace
terminalbracketontobase.NOTE:ThisisaClassIttingandmustbeearthed.Checktheseal,use
sealantifrequired.
3. DiagramB.Useappropriatexingstosecuretheposttothemountingsurface(1&2)
4. Fittheglasspiecesintotheirslotsintheframe(3).
5. Fitthebulb(notsupplied)intothelampholder(4).NOTE:Nevertabulbofahigherwattagethanthat
speciedonthelabel(asthismaycauseoverheatinganddamagethetting).
6. Attachthelidofthettingwiththehexnuts(5),ensuringagoodsealtomaintainingressprotection.
7. Turnonthepowerandtest.
