H05RN-F1.0mm2(notsupplied)toselectedsite,ensuringitisadequatelyprotectedthroughthefulllengthofthe
cablerun,itmustcomeoutoftheatsurfaceofthewallorstepsinlinewiththeentrytothetting.
• Exceptwhereinstalledinaconduitorductwhichprovidesequivalentprotectionagainstmechanicaldamage,
acableburiedinthegroundshallincorporateanearthedarmourormetalsheathorboth,suitableforuseasa
protectiveconductor,orbeofinsulatedconcentricconstruction.Buriedcablesshallbemarkedbycablecoversor
asuitablemarkingtape.Buriedconduitsandductsshallbesuitablyidentied.Buriedcables,conduitsandducts
shallbeatasu󰀩cientdepthtoavoidbeingdamagedbyanyreasonablyforeseeabledisturbanceoftheground.

surethatyouhavealltherequiredparts.Followeachassemblystepinordertopreventincorrectassembly.
Ensurethattheproductisfullyassembledasillustratedbeforeuse.
The Light pack contains:
Lighttting.
Terminalconnectionblock.
Fixingpack
The following tools may be required:
Selectionofcrossandatheadscrewdrivers.
Electricdrillandassorteddrillbits.
Wirestrippers.
Theseassemblydiagramsareintendedasaguide–ifindoubtconsultaqualiedelectrician.
Thisinstructionmanualcoversmultiplettings.Whilsttheassemblystepsarethesame,the
drawingsoverleafmaylookdi󰀨erenttothesuppliedproduct.
Care Information
Allow10minutestocoolbeforereplacing,adjustingorcleaning.
Cleanwithadryclothonly.Donotuseliquidorabrasivecleanersonthisproduct.
1. Decideonthepositionofthelighttting,orremoveexistinglighttting.Takeanoteofthepositionofthe
electricalconnections.
2. Removethetwosidescrews(A).Retainthemforrettinglater.Usethexingbracket(B)asatemplate,
markthescrewholes,andsecuretothewallwithappropriatexings(C),makingsurethebracketiscorrectly
aligned.
3. Bringthemainscablethroughthe rubbergrommet.Opentheterminalblockboxandconnectthehouse
wiring to the internal terminal block (D) – see expanded wiring details below. NOTE: This is a Class 1
product and must be Earthed. Thecableentrygrommetmustbesecurelyinplacetoensurethatthewater
ingressprotectionismaintained.Remembertoclosetheterminalboxcoveroncecompleteandmakesure
theearthcableissecurelyconnectedtotheearthscrew.
4. Securethettingoverthebracketbyusingthescrews(A)removedinPoint2.
5. Turnonthepowerandtest.
