• Your QuickTouch+ Mk2 controller has an E-stop button
• You can have up to four external E-stop button stations
• You can also have an ETC Rigging Remote Control, which also has an E-stop button
E-stop buttons have an illuminated and dimmable ring around the button so they can easily be
found in a dark stage environment. When an E-stop is activated, the rings of all E-stop buttons
in the system blink until the activated buttons are reset. The LCD also informs you if the
pressed E-stop button is local, external, or remote.
LCD E-stop Messages
• Local: Local E-stop pressed
• Remote: Remote E-stop pressed
• External: External E-stop pressed
• Multiple: Multiple E-stop pressed
Resetting E-stop
Reset the E-stop by turning the red button clockwise or counterclockwise
until it pops back into its raised position.
After resetting the E-stop, you must also cycle power at the control station
using the POWER key switch. You will not be able to move any motors until
power has been cycled. Cycling power prompts a system reboot and self
test, which lasts for less than five seconds.
Select Motors
Motor selection is only possible on the QT+ MK2 6CH and QT+ Mk2 12CH controllers, and
must be done before motor movement.
To select a motor, press the corresponding channel button. The channel number on the button
illuminates in white when selected.

If you wish to control multiple motors, press the buttons for all desired channels. All selected
channels stay illuminated to indicate they are selected.
To deselect a motor, press the channel button a second time. The channel number dims when
the motor is deselected. When all motors are deselected, the SYSTEM OK screen is displayed.
Note:
There is a maximum number of motors that can be operated simultaneously.
This number is set by the installer and is based on the rigidity of the support structure
and the physical arrangement of the motors in regard to the control station and how
many moving loads can be monitored by the operator at any given time.
If more than the maximum number of motors is selected, the first motor that was selected is
deselected (then the second selected, then the third, and so on) so that the number of
selected motors never exceeds the maximum allowed number of motors.
To deselect all motors at once, press the [Clear] button.
The motor select buttons are equipped with color LEDs to signify various conditions. These are
only present on the QuickTouch+ Mk2 6 Channel / 12 Channel controllers.
•White: Motor selected, but not moving
•Blinking blue: Motor moving up
