Using Your Scale Display Messages
Specications
1. Place the scale on a hard, at surface (not a carpet or mat).
2. Step on the scale, then step off. Wait for the LED screen to display “ ” before using.
3. Place dry, bare feet on the scale’s conductive areas. Stand on the scale until the
display ashes several times, showing your nal measurement. If your smart scale
is connected to the VeSync app, additional results (such as BMI, body fat, etc.) will
show in the app.
Note: Before rst use, remove the plastic insulator strip from the battery compartment.
Tips
• If you’re wearing shoes, the scale can only measure your weight. To measure other
health metrics, such as Body Fat, step on the scale with bare feet.
• To change the scale’s weight unit, download the VeSync app and select the desired
weight unit in the Device Settings menu.
• This scale uses a harmless electrical current to measure body fat. Consult a
healthcare professional before using the smart scale if you use medical electronic
equipment such as a pacemaker.
• If the scale has been moved or ipped upside down, it needs to be cleared.
1. Step on the scale until digits appear on the display, then step off.
2. The scale will show “ ” when cleared.
• If your scale won’t connect to the VeSync app:
• Make sure your phone has Bluetooth® turned on and is not currently connected
to another Bluetooth® device. For Android users, make sure your Location is
turned on as well.
• Download and open the newest version of the VeSync app.
• Make sure your phone’s operating system is iOS® 10.0+ or Android™ 5.0+.
• If you have other scale problems, try removing the batteries for 3 seconds, then
replacing them.
Note:
• If you are pregnant, or if you have an internal medical device such as a pacemaker, turn on
Zero-Current Mode in the VeSync app. This mode will disable the scale’s electrical current. The
scale will not measure other health metrics and will only measure weight and BMI.
• If you want to measure the weight of your baby or your pet, turn on Baby Mode in the VeSync
app. Follow the prompts to use the scale. The scale will only measure weight for children under
3 years of age. For children 3 years of age and older, the scale will measure both weight and
BMI. Other health metrics are not available for children.
