intoholeonthebottomsideofthebracketandthe
rearoftheremovable45lb(20.4kg)casterweight
asshowninFigure3.Carefullyplacetheweightand
bracketassemblyontothecasterarmcenteringthe
holeoftheweightoverthecasterwheel.

installedorremovedintheirentirety.DoNotoperate
themowerwithonlyaportionoftheUltraVacinstalled.

1.Lowerthedeckfully.Removeandretainthe
standardrightsidebeltcover,wireformbracketand
itshardware.
2.Installthebeltcoverbracketusingthetwo3/8-16x
11/4inchcarriageboltsandtwo3/8-16inchnyloc
nuts(seeFigure4).

1.Removehairpin,chutepivotpin,anddischarge
chute.Pivotpinandhairpinmaybestoredinthe
pivotholesofthedischargechuteduringbagging
operation.
2.Removethedeckdrivebeltfromaroundtheright
handspindlesheave.
3.Supporttherightmowerbladeandshaftsothatit
willnotfalloutofthedeckwhentherightsheave
nutisremoved.
4.Removetherightsheavenut,springdiscwasher,and
sheavefromthespindleshaft.
Blockthebladerotationwithablockofwood
betweenthebladeandbafesasindicatedinthe
bladeservicesectionoftheOperator’smanual.
DoNotusethebladebolttopreventrotation.

5.ApplyalightcoatofMobilHTSgrease(orfood
gradeantisieze)tothetopportionofthespindle
shaftwherethesheavemounts.
6.Installdoublesheaveontotherightspindleshaft.
Installthespringdiscwasherandnut.Makesure
thatthespringdiscwasherconeisinstalledtowards
nut(seeFigure5).Torquethesheavenutto140-145
ft-lb(190–197N-m).
Blockthebladerotationwithablockofwood
betweenthebladeandbafesasindicatedinthe
bladeservicesectionoftheOperator’smanual.
DoNotusethebladebolttopreventrotation.
