UTILISATION
• Mettezl’appareilenpositionpuisattendezdeuxàtroisheuresavantdelemettreen
marchepourlapremièrefois,letempsquelesystèmesemetteenplace.L’appareil
nedoitpasêtreplacéàproximitéd’unesourcedechaleur(ex:cuisinière,chaudière,
lumièredirectedusoleiletc.).
• Andepermettreunebonneventilation,laissezunespaced’aumoins10cmau-
dessusdel’appareiletde10cmsurlescôtésetderrière.Cetappareiln’estpas
conçupouruneinstallationencastrée.
• L’appareildoitêtreinstallésurunesurfaceplane,solideetstable;touteirrégularité
duplancherdoitêtrecorrigéeavantl’installation;sil’appareilestlégèrement
bancal,ajustezlahauteurdespiedsdedevant.
• REMARQUE :Sil’appareilestplacésuruntapisouunrevêtementdesolsouple,
réglezdenouveaulespiedsavantunefoisquel’appareileststabilisé.

• Encasdecoupuredecourant,n’ouvrezpaslaporte.Lesalimentssurgelésne
devraientpasêtreaectéssilacoupureduremoinsde12heures.Encasdecoupure
pluslongue,vériezlesalimentset,lecaséchéant,consommez-lesimmédiatement
oufaites-lescuireavantdelesrecongeler.
REGLAGE DU THERMOSTAT
Leréfrigérateurestcommandéparunboutondethermostatsituéenhaut.Pourrégler
leréfrigérateurplusfroid,tournezleboutonducranSTOP(0)verslesnombres
élevés.Lethermostatpeutêtrerégléde1à7.
Plusleboutonestsurunchireélevé,pluslatempératureestbassedanstousles
compartimentsdel’appareil.
Leschangementsdetempératureambianteaectentlatempératureàl’intérieur
del’appareil;ilestdoncimportantderéglerl’appareilenfonctiondesconditions
ambiantes.

• Lesnescouchesdegivrerécentessontassezmollesetfacilesàenleveravec
unebrosseouungrattoirenplastique.N’utilisezpasdegrattoirsmétalliquesou
coupants,d’ustensilesmécaniquesoutoutautreappareilpouraccélérerleprocessus
dedégivrage.Enleveztouteslesplaquesdegivreunefoisdécolléesduplancherdu
congélateur.
• Pourenleverlescouchesnesdegivre,iln’estpasnécessairededébrancher
l’appareil.
DEGIVRAGE DU REFRIGERATEUR
• Leprocessusdedégivrageduréfrigérateursedéclencheautomatiquementchaque
foisquelecompresseurs’arrête.
• L’eaudedégivrageestautomatiquementdirigéeversletroud’évacuationd’où
elles’écouledansunbacplacésurlecompresseur,derrièrel’appareil,avantde
s’évaporer.
• Assurez-vousqueletroud’évacuationduréfrigérateur,situéderrièrel’appareil,
restebiendégagéenpermanence.

• Unefoisledégivrageterminé,lavezl’intérieuravecunmélanged’eauchaudeet
d’unpeudebicarbonatedesoude,puisséchezsoigneusement.Lavezdelamême
manièretouteslespiècesamovibles,puisremettez-lesenplace.
• Rebranchezl’appareiletlaissez-lefonctionnerpendant2ou3heuressurleréglage
7avantderemettrelesalimentsdanslecongélateuretderemettrelethermostat
surleréglagehabituel.
BRUIT DE L’APPAREIL
• Vousremarquerezpeut-êtreparfoisdesbruitsinhabituels.Cesbruitssontdusà
lacirculationduréfrigérantdanslesystèmederefroidissement.Lephénomène
atendanceàs’accentuerdepuisl’apparitiondesgazsansCFC.Ilestcependant
normaletnesigniepasqueleréfrigérateurperdenecacité.
PERIODES D’INUTILISATION PROLONGEE
• Sivousnecomptezpasutiliserl’appareilpendantuncertaintemps,procédezdela
manièresuivante:
1. Débranchezl’appareil.
2. Nettoyezl’intérieur,puisséchez(voirsection‘Nettoyageetentretien’).
3. Laissezlaporteouverteand’éviterl’apparitiondemauvaisesodeursdansl’appareil
lorsqu’iln’estpasutilisé.
