The two ergonomic positioned carrying handles
provide easy handling and the Hi Maxx 40a ‘s
39.5 lb. weight allows easy placement on a
Speaker Stand.
The FBT Hi Maxx 40a is Completely
Manufactured in Italy utilizing the best
1% - 5% Military Spec electronic components
available in the amplifier circuitry, a New FBT
propr
ietary designed custom made B&C® 12”
neodymium magnet woofer with an aluminum die
cast frame and a New B&C® 1.7” neodymium
magnet high frequency driver coupled to a 90°H x
60°V CD horn.
Along with FBT’s NEW Class D & G amplifiers
with switch mode power supplies which are light
in weight, but hefty in power deliver 90% amplifier
efficiency and FBT’s Exclusive ADAP® 2
(Advanced Dynamic Active Protection) circuitry
prevents component failures, without thermal
shutdowns that plague many other powered
speakers. Simply put, the New FBT Hi Maxx
40a outperforms any other 2 way powered
speaker in its category, including our own
World Renowned FBT Maxx 4a.
The FBT Hi Maxx 40a Control Panel features the
same 3 band EQ, Mic/Line switching, and ground
lift switch as the Maxx 4a and Maxx 2a.
The New control panel features are a Combined
Preamp Gain and Master Volume Control to
precisely regulate the proper preamp gain
structure in accordance with the volume out,
which results in easier and quicker volume
settings, superb dynamic range and signal to
noise ratio. A RCA Stereo Input channel with
individual volume control offers additional mixing
capabilities. All in all, the FBT Hi Maxx 40a
“Raises the Bar” in polypropylene cabinet
powered speakers.
