Construction
The
two
speed
hand
drill
DSk
672
is
an
electric
tool
of
Class
II
with
protective
insulation
according
to
VDE
regulations
0740.
Th
e
protective
insulation
is
additional
to
the
normal
insulation
and
separates
all
accessible
parts
of
the
metal
casing
f
rom
all
internal
part
s li
ab
le
to
become
li
ve.
Th
e
machin
e
must
not
be
earthed
and
must
be
connected
with
a
two-
core
cable
without
ear
th
wire.
The
drill
is
tested
with
the
prescribed
test
voltage
of
4000 V.
The
machine
is
radio
suppressed
according
to
radio
interference
degree
N.
T
ype
DSk
772
for
low
tension
(42 V)
is
of
th
e
same
design
but
not
radio
suppr
es
sed.
To
prevent
the
overbridging
of
the
insulation
no
additional
marking
plates
and
signs
must
be
riveted
or
screwed
on
the
housing.
We
recommend
the
use
of
transfers
only.

Connection
and
operation
Main
voltage

correspond
to
the
operating
voltage
marked
on
the
rating
plate.
The
tool
ca
n be
plugged
into
plain
or
safety
so
ckets.
Switch
must
be
in
the
"Off"
position
when
connecting.

4.
Maintenance
Before
carrying
out
any
maintenance
work
always
remember
to
pull
out
the
plug.
Every
300
duty
hours
blow
or
brush
o
ut
the
t
oo
l
with
special
attention
to
carbon
brush
holders
and
insulated
parts
in
order
to
guara
n
tee
the
safety
given
by
the
protective
insulation.
After
checking
the
carbon
brus
h
es
make
su
re
to
refit
them
in
their
original
position
and
check
that
th
ey
mo
ve
eas
ily
in
thei
r
hold
er.
After
fitting
new
bru
sh
es
,
run
tool
unload
ed
for
about
15
minu
tes
to
allow
brush
es
to
b
ed
in.
Worn
carbon
brushes
automatically
switch
off
the
machine
after
reaching
the
ir
minimum
len
gth.
Please
,
only
use
original
Fein
ca
rbon
brushes
.
In
order
to
prevent
acciden
ts
check
cable
and
con
nections
at
both
sides
at
regular
int
erva
ls
.
Aft
er
900
duty
hours
th
e
machine
should
be
completely

mantled

hours
.

special
grease
FG
1.
For
ball
and
needle
bearings
which
should
be
lubricated
after
approx.
900
duty
hours
we
recommend
our
ball
bearing
grease
FK
3.
The
space
between
inner
and
outer ring
is
to
be
one
third filled
with
grease
in
order
that
the
bearings
do
not
overheat.
For
good
and
adequate
lubrication
a
nd
to
av
oid
overheating
it
is
important
to
pack
gearing
and
bearings
with
the
grades
and
quantities
of
grease
listed
in
the
table
below.
