replace
the
cable,
take
off
the suspension
ring
(22), the screws
(19, 20), then
take
off
the
housing cover (18), loosen
the
two
screws (17)
of
the terminal clamp (16)
and
clamp
off
the
cable
from
the
switch (8).
We recommend to renew the gear grease
after
approx. 300
duty
hours. Please,
only
use the Fein special grease Sst 1.
Quantity
of
grease 5

Order

60-2/Sst 1.
After
900
duty
hours
the
machine should be completely dismantled
as
described
under
paragraph
6
and
all
parts
should be thoroug
hly
cleaned. Rinse ball bearings
and
gears in clean solvent a

pack
with
fresh grease Sst 1.
The space between inner and outer rings is to be one third filled
with grease Sst 1 in order to prevent overheating
of
the bearings.
Please
be
sure that
all
electric
parts
are
only
cleaned
dry.
No
claims can be entertained for damage due
to
negligent main-
tenance
and
inadequate lubrication.

Dismantling
The
tool should
only
be
taken
apart
by
an
expert; first relieve
stresses
of
adjusting ring (64).
1. Remove cover sheet (21), unscrew
carbon
brushes (5), release
suspension ring (22).
2. Unscrew screws (19), (20)
and
remove housing cover (
18
).
3. Loosen 8 fillister screws (70).
4.
Remove assembled outer bearing (32
-66)
and
pull
out
counter-
shaft
pinion
(39-40).
Please,

to
driving
plate

5.
Take
out
assembled lever
(11-12
a)
with
leaf
spring (13).
6.
Draw
out
intermediate bearing (30)
as
well
as
assembled
arma-
ture
(25-28)
and
air
guiding ring.
7. Dismantle assembled pole housing (6)
by
pushing the housing
face against a
wood
plate. Loosen first soldering points
of
the
winding ends
on
the reversing switch (9).
Re-assemble in reverse sequence. Please, bear in
mind
that
the
driving
plate
(41)
is
to
be placed in the right place.
