Operating Instruction
ON/OFF
P ess and hold the side switch ove 0.5 seconds to tu n ON/OFF the light.
Output Selection
With the light switched on, single click the side switch to cycle th ough
Tu bo→Eco→Low→Med→High.
Strobe
Whethe the light is on o off, p ess and hold the side switch fo 1.2 seconds to ente st obe, one
mo e clicking, the light will tu n back to last used b ightness.
Intelligent Memory Circuit
The light memo izes the last selected b ightness level on Gene al mode. When tu ned on again
the p eviously used b ightness level will be ecalled.
Overheat Protection
The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used on Tu bo output level fo extended pe iods.
Afte a 3-minute wo k on Tu bo, it will automatically downshift to High output level to educe
tempe atu e. Tu bo can be eselected if needed, but se vice life could be sho tened o the
flashlight could be damaged pe manently.
Low-voltage Warning
With the light switched on, when the voltage level d ops below than 3.3V, low voltage wa ning
will be activated automatically, then the batte y level indicato on the switch will display ed, and
blinks eve y 3 seconds until the light goes out.
When the voltage level d ops below than 3V, the flashlight is p og ammed to downshift to a

lowe b ightness level until Eco output is eached. To ensu e no mal use, the flashlight will not
tu n off until the batte y level uns out o once the batte y ove -discha ging p otection activates.
Note: This only wo ks on 18650 Li-ion batte y.
Lockout Function
Lock: with the light unlocked, 2 continuous single clicking within 0.5 seconds on the side switch .
Light will switch off and 2 one-second blinks will indicate locked status.
Unlock: with the light locked, 2 continuous single clicking within 0.5 seconds on the side switch .
The light will be unlocked and activated on last used b ightness.
In locked status, clicking o p essing the side switch will activate 2 one-second blinks on Low to
indicate locked status.
Battery Level Indication
When the light is tu ned off, single click the side switch, the batte y level indicato on the side
switch will display the batte y status fo 3 seconds.

Charging
1. Plug the USB po t of the cha ging cable into any USB powe supply. Uncove the anti-dust
cap and plug the Mic o USB side of the cha ging cable into the cha ging po t of the
headlamp.
2. If the batte y level is fai ly sufficient, the cha ging indicato displays g een to indicate
unnecessa y cha ging. O the cha ging indicato will display ed while cha ging, and will
tu n to g een when fully cha ged. The no mal cha ging time of the built-in Fenix ARB-L18
2600 is app oximately 3 hou s f om out of powe to fully cha ged with the light off.
3. Once cha ging is completed, be su e to emove the cha ging cable and eplace the anti-
dust cove .
4. Recha ge a sto ed light eve y fou months to maintain optimum pe fo mance of the
batte y.
5. The flashlight can only be used on Low output when cha ging, but the cha ging time will
be p olonged.

Battery Replacement
Unsc ew the tail cap to inse t the batte y with the anode side (+) towa ds the light head, then
sc ew the tail cap back on.
Usage and Maintenance
Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the wa anty.
Fenix ecommends using excellent quality batte y.
If the light will not be used fo an extended pe iod, emove the batte y, o the light could be
damaged by elect olyte leakage o batte y explosion.
Unsc ew the tail cap half a tu n o take out the batte y to p event accidental activation
du ing sto age o t anspo tation.
Long-te m use can esult in O- ing wea . To maintain a p ope wate seal, eplace the ing
with an app oved spa e．
Pe iodic cleaning of the batte y contacts imp oves the lamp's pe fo mance as di ty contacts
may cause the lamp to flicke , shine inte mittently o even fail to illuminate fo the following
easons:
A: The batte ies need eplacing.
Solution: Replace batte y (Ensu e batte y is inse ted acco ding to the manufactu e ’s
specifications).
B: The th eads, PCB boa d contact o othe contacts a e di ty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in ubbing alcohol.
