• Discontinue use of swing when infant attempts to climb out (approximately
9 months).

• Fit the feet onto the end of each lower leg.
• Turn each leg over and insert an M4,5 x 25 mm screw into the foot. Tighten the screw with
a Phillips screwdriver.

• Fit the upper legs to the lower legs.
Note: The upper legs are designed to fit the lower legs one way. If an upper leg does not seem to
fit, remove it and assemble to the other lower leg.

• Pull apart the legs.
• Plug the power cord from the motorized frame into the power cord on the upper leg.
• Lift the frame support bar and attach it to the peg on the leg. Push to "snap" it into place.

IMPORTANT! The screw needed to fasten the seat tube to the motorized frame tube is located in
the seat tube retainer. Loosen and remove M5 x 40 mm screw using the Allen wrench. Use the
screw in the next assembly step.

• Fit the seat tube onto the motorized frame tube.
• Insert the M5 x 40 mm screw through the opening in the seat tube retainer. Fully tighten the

• Fit the seat rails to the seat bottom.
Note: The seat rails are designed to fit the seat bottom one way. If a seat rail does not seem to fit,
remove and assemble it to the other side of the seat bottom.

• Turn the seat assembly upright. Insert the waist belts through the lowest slots in the pad.
Make sure the waist belts are not twisted.

• From the back of the seat, fit the shoulder belt tabs back through the slots in the seat back.
Reinsert the shoulder belt tabs into the upper slots in the pad and seat back. Pull on the belts to
be sure they are secure.

Soother Battery Installation

• Locate the soother battery compartment underneath the seat.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver and remove
the door.
• Insert two, C (LR14) alkaline batteries into the battery compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw.
• If the soother begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Remove the
batteries and reinstall them.
• If battery power is low, you may notice that the soother will not turn off when you turn power
off or there are no vibrations when you turn power on. Remove, properly dispose of the worn
batteries and replace with two, new C (LR14) alkaline batteries.

Swing Battery Installation

Install batteries in the swing if you need to use this swing away from an electrical outlet.

• Loosen the screws in the swing battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove
the door.
• Insert four, D (LR20) alkaline batteries into the battery compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws.
• When battery power is low, the swing control panel LED flashes six times. If this should happen,
replace the batteries with four, new D (LR20) alkaline batteries or use the AC adapter as
a power source.
• If the swing begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Remove and
replace the batteries (if installed) or disconnect and reconnect the AC adapter.

• Place your child in the seat. Position the restraint pad between your child's legs.
• Fit the end of each waist belt through the end of each shoulder belt.
• Fasten the waist/shoulder belts to the restraint pad. Make sure you hear a "click" on both sides.

Swing AC Power

• Plug the AC adapter into the power cord extending from the back of a leg.
• Plug the AC adapter only into a wall outlet. Do not plug the adapter into a ceiling outlet.
Note: The power AC adapter cord is designed to easily disconnect if stepped on accidentally.
Simply plug the AC adapter cord back into the power cord extending from the back of the leg.
• The swing also operates on battery power. To install batteries, please refer to the Battery
Installation section on page 15.
• Always use the swing where there is adequate ventilation. To prevent overheating, keep the
swing away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, direct sunlight, stoves,
amplifiers, or other appliances which produce heat.
• Never use the swing near water (ie.: bathtub, sink, laundry tub or wet basement, etc.).
• Enchufar el adaptador eléctrico en el cable eléctrico que se extiende del dorso de una de
las patas.
• Enchufar el adaptador de corriente alterna solo en el tomacorriente de pared. No enchufar el
