CONSUMER INFORMATION
• Always keep lid closed and secured
to the pail.
• Use only non-toxic deodorizers.
• To avoid danger of suffocation, keep
plastic bags away from children.

ASSEMBLY
• Remove the lid from inside the pail.
• Turn the lid upside down and place it on a flat surface.
• Slide the twist ring tab all the way to the left (clockwise).

• Attach the two colored button holes on one end of a fabric strip to the
two pegs numbered “1” on the upper ring.

• Fold the fabric strip over and attach the two remaining button holes to
the two pegs numbered “1” on the lower ring.
Note: Make sure the fabric strip is not twisted. If the fabric strip is twisted,
remove it from the lid, smooth out the fabric strip and then reattach it.

• Repeat this procedure to attach the three remaining fabric strips to the
pegs numbered 2, 3 and 4 on the upper and lower rings.
ASSEMBLY

• Place the lid on the pail.
• Push down on both sides of the lid. Make sure you hear a “snap” on
both sides.
Assembly is now complete.

• Pull the cover latch toward you and lift the cover.
Hint: Place your foot on the foot plate to keep the pail flat on the floor.

• Insert a tall kitchen trash bag into the pail.

• Lift the bag retainer ring slightly.
• Tuck the top of the trash bag under the bag retainer ring. For best
performance, make sure the bottom of the trash bag rests on the bottom
of the pail.
Hint: For easy trash bag installation, you may prefer to use drawstring trash
bags. Tuck the top of the drawstring trash bag under the bag retainer ring
and pull the drawstrings to gather the top of the bag around the ring.

USING A DEODORIZER
Use only non-toxic deodorizers.

Deodorizer Cover
• The Odor-Free Diaper System can be used effectively with or without
a deodorizer. If desired, place a non-toxic deodorizer in the deodorizer
compartment.
• Remove the deodorizer cover.
• Place a non-toxic deodorizer into the compartment and reattach the
deodorizer cover.
• Lower the cover and push down on it to be sure it is securely closed.

• Make sure the twist ring tab is completely to the left to close the
trash bag.
• Pull the cover latch toward you and lift the cover.
Hint: Place your foot on the foot plate to keep the pail flat on the floor.
• Place a dirty diaper into the pail. For best performance, wrap the dirty
diaper tightly so it drops easily into the pail.

• Lower the cover and push down on it to be sure it is securely closed.

• Slide the twist ring tab completely to the right to open the trash bag. The
dirty diaper will drop into the pail.
Hint: Place your foot on the foot plate to keep the pail steady when sliding
the twist ring tab.

• Slide the twist ring tab completely to the left to close the trash bag,
trapping odors inside.
• Look into the window on the cover to make sure the dirty diaper has
dropped into the pail. If the diaper has not dropped into the pail, slide
the twist ring tab back and forth again.

• Make sure the twist ring tab is in the sealed position (completely to
the left).
• Pull the cover latch toward you and lift the cover.
Hint: Place your foot on the foot plate to keep the pail flat on the floor.
• Lift the bag retainer ring to free the top of the trash bag.
• Place the bag retainer ring back on the lid.

• Seal the trash bag for disposal .
• Slide the twist ring tab completely to the right to free the top of the
trash bag .

• Pull the tabs on each side of the lid out while lifting the lid off of
the pail.
Hint: Place your foot on the foot plate to keep the pail flat on the floor.
• Dispose of the trash bag.
• To place a new trash bag into the pail, please follow “Installing a Trash
Bag” steps 2-4.

CARE
• Wash the pail with a mild soap and water solution, and rinse thoroughly.
• The fabric strips can be removed and machine washed with soap and cold
water. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry on low heat. Follow the assembly
instructions, steps 1-4 to replace the fabric strips.
