• Please read and follow these instructions
carefully. Assembly of the arms is
permanent. If the arms are assembled
incorrectly, you will be unable to remove
them to correct the assembly.
• Please save these instructions for future
reference.
• Adult assembly is required.
• Requires two size “AA” alkaline
batteries (not included).
• Tool required for battery installation:
Phillips Screwdriver.
To prevent falls, use only for children who can get in
and out of the chair without help.
To prevent strangulation, never add a restraint.
Chair arms open easily to allow child to get in and out freely.
WARNING
Keep plastic bags out of children’s reach. Dispose of them properly.

• Turn the right arm upside down to locate the
battery compartment.
Helpful Hint: The right arm has a musical note.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment
cover with a Phillips screwdriver.The screw will
remain in the cover.

Assembly
• Position one of the legs upside down.
• Fit the tabs on the inside of a foot into the
grooves in one end of the leg.
• Push down on the foot to be sure the foot is
secured to the leg.
• Repeat this procedure to attach a foot to the
other side of the leg, and to attach the remain-
ing two feet to the other leg.
• Position a leg on its side on a flat surface with
the holes facing up.
• With the seat facing you, fit the pegs on the
side of the seat into the holes in the leg. Make
sure the pegs are inserted completely into the
holes.
• Fit the holes in the other leg onto the pegs on
the other side of the seat. Make sure the pegs
are inserted completely into the holes.
• Turn the chair assembly upright.
• Insert two plugs and a hanger into the side of a
leg as shown.
Helpful Hint: To make it easier to insert the
plugs and hangers into the legs, gently squeeze
the tabs together by hand before inserting them
into the holes.
• Place your hand on the inside of the leg and
push firmly on the plugs and hanger to snap
them through the leg and seat.
• Repeat this procedure to snap plugs and a
hanger into the other leg.

• First, fit the right arm end cap onto the right
arm support .
• Remove the instructional label from the arm
and discard it.
• Push down near the back of the arm to snap
the arm into the leg .
• Repeat this procedure to attach the left arm to
the left leg.
• One time assembly is now complete.

• Lift off the battery compartment cover.
• Insert two size “AA” alkaline batteries as shown
on the inside of the battery compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment cover and
tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver.
Do not over-tighten.
Battery Tips:
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-
cadmium).
• Remove the batteries during long periods of
non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries
from the product. Battery leakage and corrosion
can damage the product.
• Never short circuit the battery terminals.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be
recharged.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type
as recommended in the "Battery Installation"
instructions are to be used.
• If removable rechargeable batteries are used,
they are only to be charged under adult super-
vision.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from
the product before they are charged.
• If you use a battery charger, it should be exam-
ined regularly for damage to the cord, plug,
enclosure and other parts. Do not use a dam-
aged battery charger until it has been properly
repaired.
• Fit the drumstick and the tambourine into the
hangers on the legs.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Assembly of the arms is
permanent. Please follow the instructions
carefully. If the arms are assembled incorrectly,
you will be unable to remove them to correct the
assembly.
Music Please!
• The arms on the Musical Activity Chair pivot
open and closed. Open the arms so baby can
sit in the chair . Close the arms and let
the fun begin!
• Baby can use the drumstick to sound the
xylophone keys, strum the washboard, bang
the drum pad, or to create a variety of other
sounds. Keep the tambourine close at hand to
get the beat shakin’.
• The washboard opens to reveal a special
compartment just for baby!
Replacing the Batteries
• Pivot the right arm open.
• Turn the Musical Activity Chair upside down to
access the battery compartment.
Adjusting the Height

• Twist the foot clockwise until you feel it lock into
position.You will hear a “click” when the foot
locks into position.
• Repeat this procedure to adjust the other three
feet.
Important Note! Make sure that each foot locks
in the raised position. Always adjust all four feet
to the same position.
• Turn the chair upright.

all defects in material and workmanship when used under
normal conditions for a period of one (1) year from the date
of purchase.
Should the product fail to perform properly, we will repair or
replace it at our option, free of charge. Purchaser is responsi-
ble for shipping the product to Fisher-Price Consumer Affairs
at the address indicated above and for all associated freight
and insurance cost. Fisher-Price, Inc., will bear the cost of
shipping the repaired or replaced item to you.This warranty
is void if the owner repairs or modifies the product. This war-
ranty excludes any liability other than that expressly stated
above including but not limited to any incidental or conse-
quential damages.

• The Musical Activity Chair is two-position height
adjustable. As assembled, the Musical Activity
Chair is in the low position.
• To raise the height, turn the chair upside down.
• Lift gently on one of the feet until you feel it
unlock. Do not remove the foot from the leg.
