Consumer Information
Care and Maintenance
• Wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Be sure to
remove soap residue.
• Do not immerse this product.
• Do not leave this toy outside in freezing
weather. Water left inside the base will
freeze and possibly damage the base.
• This toy is for outdoor or indoor use. When
bringing it inside, be sure to drain, rinse,
and thoroughly dry first.
• Check all fasteners regularly to be sure
they are tight. If the fasteners are not tight,
tighten them as necessary.
• Check plastic parts regularly and if broken
or cracked, dispose of them properly.
• We recommend storing this product
indoors if it will not be used for an extended
period of time.
• This toy includes an inflatable ball.
If the ball becomes soft, inflate it with
a standard, hand-operated air pump with
a standard air needle (both not included).
• The ball will contain the correct amount
of air when its circumference measures
21 to 22 inches (53 to 56 cm). Measure
the circumference of the ball with a tape
measure or with a piece of string cut

Assembly
• Place the rim on a flat surface with the
rectangular tabs facing up.
• Locate the four holes in the underside of
the net assembly. Align the four holes in the
underside of the net assembly with the four
holes in the rim.
• Place the net assembly onto the rim.
• Place the loops at the top of the net into the
grooves on the ring.
• Pull each loop through a ring tab, as shown.
For best results, avoid repositioning a label
once it has been applied to the backboard.
• Carefully peel a label from the label sheet
and attach it to the backboard, as shown.
• Smooth out the label to remove any
air bubbles.
• Repeat this procedure to apply the
remaining labels to the backboard.

This package contains small
parts. For adult assembly only.

• While holding the ring assembly and rim
together, turn them over.
• Insert four #6 x ½" (1,3 cm) screws into the
holes in the rim, making sure each hole in the
rim is still aligned with each screw hole in the
net assembly.
• Partially tighten the screws. Next, turn the rim
over to ensure that the net loops are still in
the grooves and through the ring tabs. Then,
fully tighten the screws.
• Insert and "snap" the lower post into
the base.

Rim Assembly
• Insert four #8 x ¾" (1,9 cm) screws into the
holes on the back side of the backboard.
Tighten the screws.
• Attach the rim assembly and backboard to
the upper post.

• Flip down the latch on the lower post.
• Insert the upper post into the lower post.

Sure Score™ Rim
• To lower the rim height: While holding the
upper post, flip the latch on the lower post
down. Lower the upper post and flip the
latch into the groove to secure in place.
• To raise the rim height: While holding
the upper post, flip the latch on the lower
post down. Then, lift the upper post and
flip the latch into the groove to secure
in place.
IMPORTANT! Rim height should only be
adjusted by an adult. Also, make sure
children are not standing below the rim when
adjusting the rim height.
• “Snap’’ the Sure Score™ rim onto the
rim assembly.
• After assembly is complete, fill the base
with water for outdoor use to keep this
product stationary. Simply lift the plug, fill
the base and replace the plug. Be sure to
drain, rinse, and thoroughly dry the base
before indoor use.

Let’s Play! Storage
• Press the tabs on the bottom of the rim
assembly to remove the Sure Score™ rim.
• Store the Sure Score™ rim behind
the backboard.
• Sure Score™ rim guides the ball to
the basket.
• Remove the Sure Score™ rim to add
more challenge!
