as it contains important information.
Requires three "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included).
Adult assembly is required for battery installation.
Tool required for battery installation: Phillips screwdriver (not included).

• Lift the flip-out handle on the bottom of the toy to access the
battery compartment.
• Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the toy.
• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver.
Remove the battery compartment door.
• Insert three "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips
screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy.
To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted
batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in
a fire. The batteries may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged
under adult supervision.

• "Snap" the lightbar onto the top of the bus.
• "Snap" the handle onto the bus.
• "Snap" the apple toy onto the bus.
• Insert the peg on one end of the shape-sorter door into the opening in the bus.
While making sure to keep this peg in place, bend the door slightly and insert
the other peg into the opening on the other side of the bus.
Assembly is now complete.

Power/Volume Switch
• Locate the power/volume switch on top of the toy. Slide the switch to any of three
positions: off ; on with low volume ; or on with high volume .
• When your child is finished playing with this toy, slide the power/volume switch
to the off position .
Hint: If your child is not actively playing with this toy, it turns off automatically
(sleep mode).

• Wipe the toy with a clean cloth dampened with a mild soap and
water solution.

• To convert from a sit and play activity center to a pull-along bus, tip the toy
and pull the handle away from the base. To change back, simply “snap” the
handle back in place.
Sit and Play Activity Center or Pull-Along Bus!
Hint: For best results, when using this toy as an activity center, be sure the
handle is “snapped” under the bus.
