INTRODUCTION
This software allows you to control the following parameters of the SCD-600 conference system:
- Volume and music control
- Individual microphone control
- Equalizer
- Control of debate and voting mode
- Camera control.
1.- DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE
Download the free SCD-600 PC application at the following web address:
http://www.fonestar.com/SCD-600
This application does not require prior installation, you only need to open the program to use it.
2.- CONNECTION
In order for your computer and the conference system to communicate, it is necessary that both devices are
connected to the same local area network, internet access is not necessary.
Note: Refer to the user's manual for the steps necessary to change the IP address of SCD-600.
-Once they are connected on the same network, open the program. To do this, go to the downloaded files
and click on the file “SCD-600 System Editor 1.2.6.”
- Select the network interface used and click OK.

-If the connection between the two devices is successful, the program will display the following window
with the status indicator in green (in the upper left margin). In this window, in the left-hand column, all
automatically detected units (central unit and chairman and delegate microphones) are displayed. If not,
check that all connections and cables are properly connected.
If a connection cannot be made, the software will display the following message "No devices available"
and the status indicator will appear in gray. Check that both devices are physically on the same network,
that the cables are not damaged and are working properly, and finally, check the configuration of your
network cards (IP, network marker and gateway). Once all of this has been verified, click on the CONNECT
button to try again.
3.- SOFWARE FEATURES
3.1 CONTROL AND CONFIGURATION OF THE SCD-600 CENTRAL UNIT
To control the central unit of the SCD-600, conference system, with the DEVICE option selected at the top
of the screen, go to the left column and click on the SCD-600 button (this button also shows the IP address
of the unit).
To the right of the column of detected devices, the rest of the information, being all the adjustments that can
be made on the SCD-600 unit, will be shown.
Each of these settings is outlined below.

3.1.1 EQUALIZER
The software allows the output audio signal of the control panel to be equalized. To do this, click on the
EQUALIZER button in the DISPLAY section in the center column. This software allows you to combine
different equalizer modes:
- represented graphically, with the graph on the top (1).
-enhancement or attenuation of specific frequencies (2) configuring the following parameters: center
frequency of the filter, quality factor of the equalization band (Q Factor), gain of the equalization band
level, type of filter for the equalization band, deactivate an equalization band (OMIT button), subtract
the curve (PLANE button), deactivate all equalization bands (OMIT ALL button). It is also possible to
save a configuration in a file and then load it with the SAVE and LOAD buttons respectively.
-generic filters: high pass and low pass (3). Allows you to select the center frequency and filter type for
each band.

3.1.2 USERS
The software allows you to mute or activate each of the microphones connected to the central unit. To do
this, click on the USERS button in the DISPLAY section in the center column and all connected microphones
will appear on the right panel. The president microphone will appear in orange and the delegates'
microphones in white. Click on each one to change its status.
3.1.3 DEBATE MODE
In order to configure the microphone settings in debate mode, click on the arrow in the DEBATE MODE,
opening the configuration menu. This menu allows you to configure the following items:
-Set the maximum number of microphones that can be simultaneously active (1, 3, 6, 9 or all). Click on the
option you wish to select.
- Allows you to configure the microphone settings when the maximum number of users is reached.
-FIFO: this setting will deactivate the microphone that has been active the longest when the maximum
number of active microphones is exceeded.
-LIMIT: when the maximum number of active microphones is exceeded, this setting prevents other
microphones from being activated until a microphone is deactivated.
-Activates/deactivates the priority that the president microphone has over delegate microphones. If
deactivated, the president microphone will be treated by the system as another delegate microphone.
-Blocking the microphones of all delegates. The SCD-620D delegate microphones will be disabled and will
not be able to cast any votes. To restore the microphones to operation, press the button a second time.
This action has no effect on the status of the chairman microphone.
- DISABLE ALL: disables all delegate microphones.
- DISABLE: disables a microphone individually by clicking on the desired microphone.

3.1.4 VOLUME CONTROL
-Speakers: control of the overall volume of the SCD-600 outputs.
-Monitor: volume control of the speakers in the base of the microphones.
3.1.5 SIC CONTROL
The software allows you to control the USB storage device connected to the front
panel of the central unit. This option allows you to control audio file playback and
audio file recording with the standard controls of a player: play, pause, stop,
previous track, next track and playback mode.

3.2 MICROPHONE CONTROL AND CONFIGURATION
The software allows you to configure the delegate and president microphones. To do this, click on the
microphone you wish to configure in the left hand column.
3.2.1. COMPRESSOR AND EQUALIZER
Allows you to individually configure the compressor and equalizer of the microphones.
The parameters to configure the compressor are:
-Threshold: sets the threshold above which the compressor will apply the selected attenuation.
-Ratio: sets the attenuation that is applied to the signal when it exceeds the threshold.
-Attack: the period of time needed to apply compression to the signal when the threshold is exceeded.
-Release: the period of time needed to stop compressing the signal when the threshold is exceeded.
-Boost: increase in the signal level of the microphone.
-Volume: general volume of the microphone.
-Reset: resets the compressor parameters.
-Omit: deactivates the compressor.
The parameters to configure the equalizer are:
-Frequency: central frequency of the filter.
-Q factor: quality factor of the equalization band. This changes the bandwidth of the equalization.
-Gain: gain of the equalization band level.
-Type: type of filter for the equalization band.
-Omit: disables the equalization band.
-Reset: resets the equalizer parameters.
Note: if you want to configure all microphones the same way, click SAVE and select a path to save the
microphone's configuration, then select the next microphone to be configured and click LOAD and select the
previously saved fi.

3.3. VOTING
The conference system software allows you to start, manage, finalize and view voting results.
To enter voting mode via the software, click on the VOTING tab in the top menu.
- Before voting begins, select the length of time the vote will last, in minutes.
-To start voting click on the START VOTING button. Voting will finalize automatically when the indicated
time is up or if you click the STOP VOTING button.

When the voting is over, the software will display the voting result in the following format:
3.4. CAMERA CONTROL
This conference system allows you to control the camera connected to the central unit via the RS485 port,
as indicated in the user manual. To control the camera using the software, execute the configurations required
for RS485 connection and communication and click on the CAMERA tab.

3.5. SYSTEM LOCKING
It is also possible to lock and unlock the system so that unauthorized personnel do not modify the parameters
when the system is unattended. This is done by means of a password and it is possible to lock and unlock
the SCD-600 center on the device itself, or via the software.
To lock the conference system from the central unit, press and hold the SPEAKER button on the front panel
for 3 seconds.
To block the conference system from the software, click on the LOCK icon at the top of the screen as you
can see in the image below.
To unlock the conference system from the central unit, press any button and the system will ask for the
password. Change the password using the MONITOR control, and select the password using the SPEAKER
control. Press the SPEAKER control to confirm.
To unlock the conference system from the software, click on the UNLOCK icon located at the top of the
screen as you can see in the following image.

Enter the password.
note: the default password is “0000”.
To change the password, press and hold the MONITOR button for 3 seconds, use the SPEAKER control to
select the digit and the MONITOR control to change it. Press the SPEAKER control to confirm.

INTRODUCCIÓN
Este software permite controlar los siguientes parámetros del sistema de conferencias SCD-600:
- Control de volumen y música
- Control individual de los micrófonos
- Ecualizador
- Control del modo debate y modo votación
- Control de cámaras
1.- DESCARGA DEL SOFTWARE
Descargue la aplicación gratuita del SCD-600 para PC, dirigiéndose a la siguiente dirección web:
http://www.fonestar.com/SCD-600
Esta aplicación no requiere de instalación previa, sólo debe abrir el programa para utilizarla.
2.- CONEXIÓN
Para que su ordenador y el sistema de conferencias puedan comunicarse, es necesario que ambos
dispositivos se encuentren conectados a la misma red de área local, no es necesario tener acceso a internet.
Nota: diríjase el manual de usuario para ver los pasos necesarios para cambiar la IP de la unidad SCD-600.
-Una vez estén conectados en la misma red, abra el programa. Para ello, vaya a los archivos descargados
y haga clic en el archivo “SCD-600 System Editor 1.2.6.”
- Seleccione la interfaz de red utilizada y haga clic en OK.

-Si la conexión entre ambos dispositivos se ha realizado correctamente el programa mostrará la siguiente
ventana con el indicador de estado en verde (en el margen superior izquierdo). En esta ventana, en la
columna de la izquierda, muestra todas las unidades detectadas automáticamente (unidad central y
micrófonos presidente y delegado). Compruebe que estas unidades detectadas corresponden con las
conectadas, si no es así, compruebe todas las conexiones y cables utilizados.
Si la conexión no se ha podido realizar, el software le mostrará el siguiente mensaje “No hay dispositivos
disponibles” y el indicador de estado será de color gris. Compruebe que ambos dispositivos se
encuentren en la misma red físicamente, que los cables no están dañados y funcionan correctamente y,
por último, revise la configuración de sus tarjetas de red (IP, marcada de red y puerta de enlace). Una vez
todo esto esté comprobado y haga clic en el botón CONECTAR para volver a intentarlo.
3.-FUNCIONALIDADES DEL SOFTWARE
3.1 CONTROL Y CONFIGURACIÓN DE LA UNIDAD CENTRAL SCD-600
Para controlar la unidad central del sistema de conferencias SCD-600, con la opción DISPOSITIVO
seleccionada en la parte superior de la pantalla, vaya a la columna de la izquierda y haga clic sobre el botón
que identifica a la unidad SCD-600 (este botón también muestra la dirección IP de dicha unidad).
El resto de la información que aparece a la derecha de la columna de los dispositivo detectados, serán todos
los ajustes que podemos realizar sobre la unidad SCD-600.
A continuación describimos cada uno de estos ajustes.

3.1.1 ECUALIZADOR
El software permite ecualizar la señal de audio de salida de la central. Para ello, haga clic en el botón
ECUALIZADOR del apartado MOSTRAR en la columna central. Este software permite combinar distintos
modos de ecualizar:
- gráficamente con la gráfica de la parte superior (1).
-realce o atenuación de frecuencias concretas (2) configurando los siguientes parámetros: frecuencia
central del filtro, factor de calidad de la banda de ecualización (Factor Q), ganancia del nivel de la
banda de ecualización, tipo de filtro para la banda de ecualización, desactivar una banda de
ecualización (botón OMITIR), restear la curva (botón PLANO), desactivar todas las bandas de
ecualización (botón OMITIR TODOS). También es posible guardar una configuración en un archivo
para posteriormente cargarla con los botones GUARDAR y CARGAR respectivamente.
-filtros genéricos: paso alto y paso bajo (3). Permite seleccionar la frecuencia central y el tipo de filtro
para cada banda.

3.1.2 USUARIOS
El software permite silenciar o activar cada uno de los micrófonos conectados a la unidad central. Para ello,
haga clic en el botón USUARIOS del apartado MOSTRAR en la columna central y, en el panel de la derecha,
aparecerán todos los micrófonos conectados. El micrófono del presidente aparecerá en color naranja y los
micrófonos de los delegados en color blanco. Haga clic sobre ellos para cambiar su estado.
3.1.3 MODO DEBATE
Para configurar el comportamiento de los micrófonos en el modo debate pulse sobre la flecha en el bloque
MODO DEBATE para abrir el menú de configuración. Este menú permite configurar los siguientes elementos:
-Establecer el número máximo de micrófonos que se pueden estar activos simultáneamente (1, 3, 6, 9 o
todos). Haga clic en el recuadro de la opción deseada.
-Permite configurar el comportamiento de los micrófonos cuando se alcance el número máximo de
usuarios.
-FIFO: cuando se supere el número máximo de micrófonos activos, desactivará el micrófono que lleve
más tiempo activo.
-LIMIT: cuando se supera el número máximo de micrófonos activos impide que se activen otros
micrófonos hasta que algún micrófono se desactive.
-Activa/desactiva la prioridad que tiene el micrófono del presidente sobre los micrófono delegado. Si se
desactiva, el micrófono presidente pasará a ser tratado por el sistema como otro micrófono delegado.
-Bloqueo de los micrófonos de todos los delegados. Los micrófonos de los delegados SCD-620D
quedarán bloqueados e inactivos sin poder emitir ninguna votación. Para volver a tener los micrófonos
operativos deberá pulsar de nuevo el botón. Esta acción no tiene efecto sobre el estado del micrófono
presidente.
- DESHAB. TODOS: deshabilita todos los micrófonos delegado.
-DESHABILITAR: deshabilita un micrófono individualmente haciendo clic sobre el micrófono deseado.

3.1.4 CONTROL DE VOLUMEN
-Altavoces: control del volumen general de las salidas del SCD-600.
-Monitor: control de volumen de los altavoces de las bases de los micrófonos.
3.1.5 CONTROL DE MÚSICA
El softwarepermite controlar el dispositivo de almacenamiento USB
conectado en el panel frontal de la unidad central. En este apartado es posible
controlar la reproducción de archivos de audio y la grabación de archivos de
audio con los controles habituales de un reproductor: play, pause, stop,
pista previa, pista siguiente y el modo de reproducción.

3.2 CONTROL Y CONFIGURACIÓN DE LOS MICRÓFONOS
El software permite configurar los micrófonos de los delegados y del presidente. Para ello, haga clic sobre
el micrófono que desee configurar en la columna de la izquierda.
3.2.1. COMPRESOR Y ECUALIZADOR
Permite configurar el compresor y el ecualizador de los micrófonos individualmente.
Los parámetros para configurar en el compresor son:
-Threshold: establece el umbral a partir del cual el compresor aplicará la atenuación seleccionada.
-Ratio: establece la atenuación que se aplica a la señal cuando esta supera el umbral.
-Attack: tiempo que se tarda en aplicar la compresión a la señal desde que se supera el umbral.
-Release: tiempo que se tarda en dejar de comprimir la señal desde que se deja de superar el umbral.
-Boost: incremento del nivel de señal del micrófono.
-Volumen: volumen general del micrófono.
-Plano: resetea los parámetros del compresor.
-Omitir: desactiva el compresor.
Los parámetros para configurar en el ecualizador son:
-Frecuencia: frecuencia central del filtro.
-Factor Q: factor de calidad de la banda de ecualización. Afecta al ancho de la banda de ecualización.
-Ganancia: ganancia del nivel de la banda de ecualización.
-Tipo: tipo de filtro para la banda de ecualización.
-Omitir: desactiva la banda de ecualización.
-Plano: resetea todos los parámetros del ecualizador.
Nota: si desea configurar todos los micrófonos de la misma forma, haga clic en GUARDAR y seleccione una
ruta para guardar la configuración del micrófono, a continuación seleccione el siguiente micrófono a
configurar y haga clic en CARGAR y seleccione el archivo guardado previamente.

3.3. VOTACIÓN
El software del sistema de conferencias permite iniciar, gestionar, finalizar y ver resultados de las votaciones.
Para entrar en el modo votación a través del software haga clic en la pestaña VOTACIÓN del menú superior.
- Antes de comenzar la votación, seleccione el tiempo que durará la votación, en minutos.
-Para empezar la votación haga clic en el botón COMENZAR VOTACIÓN. La votación finalizará
automáticamente cuando el tiempo indicado haya concluido o si hace clic en el botón DETENER
VOTACIÓN.

Cuando la votación haya terminado, el software mostrará el resultado de la votación con el siguiente formato:
3.4. CONTROL DE CÁMARA
Este sistema de conferencias permite el control de la cámara conectada a la unidad central por el puerto
RS485, tal y como se indica en el manual de usuario. Para controlar la cámara con el software realice las
configuraciones requeridas para la conexión y comunicación por RS485 y haga clic en la pestaña CÁMARA.

3.5. BLOQUEO DEL SISTEMA
También es posible bloquear y desbloquear el sistema para que el personal ajeno a la organización no
manipule los parámetros cuando el sistema esté desatendido. Esto se hace a través de una contraseña y se
puede bloquear y desbloquear desde la propia centra SCD-600 como desde el software.
Para bloquear el sistema de conferencias desde la unidad central pulse durante 3 segundos el botón
SPEAKER del panel frontal.
Para bloquear el sistema de conferencias desde el software haga clic sobre el icono BLOQUEAR situado en
la parte superior de la pantalla como puede ver en la siguiente imagen.
Para desbloquear el sistema de conferencias desde la unidad central pulse cualquier botón y el sistema
pedirá la contraseña, para introducirla utilice el control SPEAKER para seleccionar el dígito y el control
MONITOR para modificar el dígito. Presione el control SPEAKER para confirmar.
Para desbloquear el sistema de conferencias desde el software haga clic sobre el icono DESBLOQUEAR
situado en la parte superior de la pantalla como puede ver en la siguiente imagen.
