DESCRIPTION
Digital conference system with DSP function and feedback suppressor. Live voting possible. PC-based
configuration and control software. Dante compatible.
The SCD-600 control unit has different modes for simultaneous operation of the microphones: all, maximum
9, maximum 6 and maximum 3. Up to 2 groups of 1 microphone can be used for chairman SCD-610P and the
remaining microphones for delegates SCD-620D. With 2 SCD-630EXT extensions, up to 72 microphones
can be connected to the system.
The most important features of the wireless system are described below:

1.- USB storage device connection port.
2.- DISCUSS MODE/VOTING: A short press of this button accesses the discussion mode settings.
A long press of this button accesses the voting mode. For further information, please refer to the
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE section.
3.- Conference system information screen.
4.- PRE/EQ: A short press of this button allows you to skip to the previous audio track in playback mode.
A long press of this button accesses the equalisation configuration menu.
5.- PLAY/PAUSE: a short press on this button allows you to start/pause playback in playback mode. A long
press on this button allows you to change the language of the conference system (English or Spanish).
6.- NEXT/ : a short press on this button scrolls up through the different configuration menus. And a long
press allows you to change the operating mode of the microphones (FIFO or LIMIT mode). For more
information, please refer to the INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE section.
In playback mode, a short press on this button allows you to move to the next audio track.
7.- STOP: in playback mode, it allows you to stop recording or audio playback. When held for 10 seconds
of this button enables/disables the alarm function.

8.- SPEAKER: rotating this control modifies the overall output volume. A long press on this control activates
the lock function.
9.- FEEDBACK KILLER: A short press of this button activates/deactivates the feedback suppressor
function. A long press of this button resets the notch filter settings. It is recommended to reset the filter
settings when the feedback blanker function is active and feedback is present.
10.- REC/EXIT: when navigating through the configuration menu, a short press on this button allows you to
return to the start menu.
In playback mode, a short press starts recording to the USB storage device.
11.- REPEAT/ :a short press on this button scrolls down through the different configuration menus. And a
long press on this button allows you to activate/deactivate the simultaneous translation mode.
In playback mode, a short press of this button allows you to change the repeat mode of the files to be
played (normal playback or repeat one).
12.- MONITOR: by rotating this control we modify the volume of the speakers integrated in the base of the
chairman microphones SCD-610P and delegate SCD-620D. A long press on this button allows you to
change the lock password. For more information see section LOCK FUNCTION.
When navigating through the menu, turn this control to scroll through the different menu options.

1.- POWER: on/off switch of the equipment.
2.- Power supply socket.
3.- Connection slot for Dante SCD-640DT module.
4.- RJ-45 port for LAN network connection.
5.- RS485: connection for camera system.
6.- ALARM IN: this input, by means of contact closure, activates the alarm mode of the equipment, muting
all audio sources and microphones and only emitting the incoming signal via INPUT as long as the
alarm function is enabled in the equipment.
7.- MIC INPUT: ports for connection of SCD-610P and SCD-620D microphones, 16 maximum in cascade
per port.
8.- REC OUTPUT: unbalanced audio outputs for external recording, 2 x RCA.
9.- INPUT: Auxiliary line level input, 2 x RCA. If you enable the alarm function, connect the audio output
of the evacuation system to this input to play the message on the equipment which is part of the
conference system when the alarm mode is activated by ALARM IN.
10.- OUTPUT: line level output, 2 x RCA.
11.- MIC INPUT: unbalanced microphone level input with phantom power, XLR connector (pin out: 1-ground,
2-signal and 3-on LED). It will be used as input for simultaneous translation if this function is active. For
more information, see section SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION.

7.- PRIORITY: speech priority control of the PTL chairman microphone. Pressing this button will deactivate
the rest of the SCD-620D delegate microphones, being the SCD-610P chairman microphone the only
active microphone in the system.
8.- PTL microphone activation button. Press to request a turn to speak, the system will activate the
microphone or not depending on the established configuration. When the microphone is active, press
it again to deactivate it when you have finished speaking.
9.- Monitor speaker. This loudspeaker will be muted when the microphone is active to avoid feedback
problems. If the simultaneous translation function is activated, all the signals will be reproduced (line
input, microphones and player) except the MIC INPUT signal. If simultaneous translation is deactivated,
all signals will be heard without exception, MIC INPUT becomes just another input of the system.

- POSITION 1: if simultaneous translation is activated, all signals (line input, microphones and player)
are heard except the MIC INPUT signal. If simultaneous translation is deactivated, all signals will be
heard without exception, MIC INPUT becomes another input of the system.

SCD-610P or SCD-620D microphone.

CHANGE LANGUAGE
- Long press the PLAY/PAUSE button on the front panel to change the language.
- Languages available: English, Spanish.

EQUALISATION
- Make a long press on the PRE/EQ button:
+ Use the buttons to scroll through the table rows.
+ Use the MONITOR control to scroll through the columns in the table.
+ Use the SPEAKER control to change the selected value.
NOTE: press the PLAY/PAUSE button to set the BYPASS value in LPF and HPF, press again to return
to the set values.
- Once the changes have been made, click on the EXIT button to exit the configuration.
HOW TO VOTE
The SCD-600 digital conference system allows a vote to be taken and the results to be viewed in real time.
Each microphone base of the chairman and delegate can cast one vote when the voting mode is activated.
The maximum time for voting is a software configurable parameter. When this time expires, no more votes
can be cast and the result of the vote will be displayed on the main unit screen or in the PC software.
- To activate the voting mode, press and hold the DISCUSS MODE/VOTING
button for 3 seconds and the display will show the following information.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start voting.
- Once voting begins, attendees will be able to cast their vote using the 3 touch
buttons on the bases of each voting microphone: AGREE to vote for, DISAGREE
to vote against and DROP to abstain. Pressing one of the options on the screen
will display a message to confirm the vote.
- If you wish to stop voting early, press the STOP button on the central unit.
- Once voting is complete, the screen will display the result.
- To exit the voting mode press the REC/EXIT button.
NOTE: via the PC control software, it is also possible to control the voting, adjust
the voting time, display the voting result and other functions described in the software manual which can be
found at: www.fonestar.com/SCD-600.
MODE OF DISCUSSION
The discussion mode consists of the normal operation of a conference system in which one or more
attendees take part in a discussion. Speaking turns are directly controlled by the central unit according to
the pre-setting of this mode.
- The first setting required is the maximum number of microphones that can be active at the same time,
you can select 1, 3, 6, 9 or all active. Press the DISCUSS MODE button to change this option.
- The second is the way to manage the speaking time when the maximum number of simultaneously active
microphones has been reached. There are 2 ways to manage new requests for speaking time: FIFO
mode and LIMIT mode.
+ FIFO: this mode deactivates the first delegate microphone that has been activated when an input
request is received from another delegate microphone as long as the number of active microphones
has reached the maximum allowed.
+ LIMIT (FIFO OFF): does not allow any other delegate to speak to any other delegate when the
maximum number of active microphones has been reached until one of them is deactivated.
- To switch between these modes, press and hold the NEXT button.
NOTE: Using the software you can configure these options as well. Refer to the software manual for more
information.

ALARM FUNCTION
This function allows evacuation messages to be broadcast when this system is connected to an evacuation
system. When the alarm mode is active, the SCD-600 system will mute all audio sources except the INPUT
input which will contain the evacuation message.
- Interconnect both systems via the INPUT input to receive the audio signal and ALARM IN to activate the
alarm mode (active low level).
- To enable or disable this function, press STOP for 10 seconds.
RECORDING FUNCTION
The recording must always be made on a USB storage device of maximum 1 TB in MP3 format, 192 kbps
at 48 KHz.
- To start recording press the REC button at any time. If audio is playing back from the USB device itself,
this playback will stop to start recording.
- Note that you can control the volume of the SPEAKER control recording.
BLOCKING FUNCTION
This function allows the software and controls of the central unit to be locked with a password so that they
cannot be manipulated by personnel outside the organisation when the system is unattended.
- To change the password, press and hold the MONITOR button for 3 seconds. With the SPEAKER control
you will select the digit to be changed and with the MONITOR control you can advance to the next digit.
The default password is "0000".
When you have entered all digits of the new password, press the SPEAKER button again to save.
- To lock the central unit, press and hold the SPEAKER button for 3 seconds.
- To unlock the central unit press any button, with the SPEAKER control you select the digit and with the
MONITOR control you can advance to the next digit.
Note: This function is also available in the software. Please refer to the software manual for more information.
SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION
The simultaneous translation function allows the MIC INPUT to be used for real-time translation of the
conference. This signal is received on each microphone when the microphone selector is in position 2 and
the simultaneous translation function is active.
- To activate simultaneous translation, long press the REPEAT/ button on the SCD-600 control unit.
- In order to hear this signal, you must set the headphone output switch of each microphone that wants
to hear this signal to position 2. If the switch is set to position 1, you will hear everything (line input,
microphones and player) except the MIC INPUT signal.
NOTE: If headphones are not connected, the monitor speaker will play all signals except MIC INPUT.

- mode 1: without SCD-630EXT extensions. Supports connecting branches of 8 microphones from the
main unit. 16 microphones in total*.

SCD-600
Requirements:
+ Cameras with PELCO-D protocol and Baudrate setting at 9600bps.
+ Connections: data cable, pins 1 and 2 are the ones that connect directly to the camera.
In software:
1.- In the CAMERA tab, select the PELCO_D protocol from the drop-down menu.
2.- Select the camera position for the selected microphone. Select the microphone name from the
PRESET drop-down (this appears in the lower right corner of the screen of each microphone).
3.- Make the settings for the individual cameras by selecting them with the ADDRESS field.
4.- Adjust the focus, zoom and position and save the setting by pressing SAVE.
NOTE: when the microphone identified in the PRESET is active the configured camera(s) will be placed
in the set position.
5.- Repeat steps 3 and 4 to configure the position of all cameras for the same preset. Once finished
repeat all the steps by changing presets until all the PRESETS for the installed microphones are
configured.

Sistema digital de conferencias con función DSP y supresor de retroalimentación. Posibilidad de realizar
votaciones en vivo. Software de configuración y control desde PC. Compatible con Dante.
La unidad de control SCD-600 dispone de distintos modos de funcionamiento simultáneo de los micrófonos:
todos, 9 máximo, 6 máximo y 3 máximo. Se pueden utilizar hasta 2 grupos de 1 micrófono para presidente
SCD-610P y el resto de micrófonos para delegados SCD-620D. Con 2 extensiones SCD-630EXT se puede
llegar a conectar hasta un total de 72 micrófonos en el sistema.

7.- STOP: en modo reproducción, permite detener la grabación o la reproducción de audio. Una pulsación
de 10 segunos de este botón habilita/deshabilita la función alarma.
8.- SPEAKER: la rotación de este control modifica el volumen general de salida. Una pulsación larga de
este control activa la función de bloqueo.
9.- FEEDBACK KILLER: una pulsación corta de este botón activa/desactiva la función de supresor de
realimentación. Una pulsación larga de este botón permite restablecer la configuración de los filtros
notch. Se recomienda reestablecer la configuración de los filtros cuando la función de supresor de
realimentación está activa y existe realimentación.
10.- REC/EXIT: cuando se esté navegando por el menú de configuración, una pulsación corta de este
botón permite volver al menú de inicio.
En modo reproducción, una pulsación corta inicia la grabación en el dispositivo de almacenamiento
USB.
11.- REPEAT/ :una pulsación corta de este botón permite desplazarse hacia abajo en los distintos menús
de configuración. Y una pulsación larga de este botón permite activar/desactivar el modo de traducción
simultánea.
En modo reproducción, una pulsación corta de este botón permite cambiar el modo de repetición de
los archivos a reproducir (reproducción normal o repetir una).
12.- MONITOR: mediante la rotación de este control modificamos el volumen de los altavoces integrados en la

evitar problemas de realimentación. Si la función de traducción simultánea está activada se reproducirán
todas las señales (entrada de línea, micrófonos y reproductor) excepto la señal de MIC INPUT. Si la
traducción simultánea está desactivada se escucharán todas las señales sin excepción, MIC INPUT
pasa a ser una entrada más del sistema.

- Una vez terminados los cambios pulse sobre el botón EXIT para salir de la configuración.
MODO DE VOTACIÓN
El sistema digital de conferencias SCD-600 permite realizar una votación y consultar los resultados en
tiempo real. Cada base de micrófono del presidente y delegado pueden emitir un voto cuando se active el
modo de votación. El tiempo máximo para la votación es un parámetro configurable por software. Cuando
este tiempo finalice, no se podrán emitir más votos y el resultado de la votación se mostrará en la pantalla
de la unidad principal o en el software de PC.
- Para activar el modo de votación mantenga pulsado durante 3 segundos el
botón DISCUSS MODE/VOTING y la pantalla mostrará la siguiente información.
- Pulse el botón PLAY/PAUSE para iniciar la votación.
- Una vez que la votación comience, los asistentes podrán emitir su voto con los
3 botones táctiles en las bases de cada micrófono de votación: AGREE para
votar a favor, DISAGREE en contra y DROP para abstenerse. Al pulsar una de
las opciones en la pantalla aparecerá un mensaje para confirmar el voto.
- Si desea detener la votación antes de tiempo presione el botón STOP en la
unidad central.
- Una vez terminada la votación la pantalla mostrará el resultado.
- Para salir del modo votación pulse el botón REC/EXIT.
NOTA: a través del software de control de PC, también es posible controlar la votación, ajustar el tiempo
de votación, visualizar el resultado de la votación y otras funciones descritas en el manual del software que
podrá encontrar en: www.fonestar.com/SCD-600
MODO DE DEBATE
El modo debate consiste en el funcionamiento normal de un sistema de conferencias en el que uno o varios
asistentes intervienen en un debate. Los turnos de palabra están directamente controlados por la unidad
central en función de la configuración previa de este modo.
- La primera configuración necesaria es el número máximo de micrófonos que pueden estar activos a la
vez, puede seleccionar 1, 3, 6, 9 o todos activos. Pulse el botón DISCUSS MODE para cambiar esta
opción.
- Y la segunda, es la manera de gestionar el turno de palabra cuando se ha llegado al número máximo de
micrófonos activos simultáneamente. Existen 2 formas de gestionar las nuevas peticiones de turno de
palabra: el modo FIFO y el modo LIMIT.
- FIFO: este modo desactivará el primer micrófono delegado que haya sido activado cuando se reciba una
petición de entrada de otro micrófono delegado siempre y cuando el número de micrófonos activos haya
alcanzado el máximo permitido.
- LIMIT (FIFO OFF): no permite hablar a ningún otro delegado cuando se ha alcanzado el número máximo
de micrófonos activos hasta que uno de ellos se desactive.
Para cambiar entre estos modos mantenga pulsado el botón NEXT.

FUNCIÓN ALARMA
Esta función permite la emisión de mensajes de evacuación cuando este sistema está conectado a un
sistema de evacuación. Cuando el modo alarma esté activo el sistema SCD-600 silenciará todas las fuentes
de audio excepto la entrada INPUT que contendrá el mensaje de evacuación.
- Interconecte ambos sistemas a través de la entrada INPUT para recibir la señal de audio y ALARM IN la
activación del modo alarma (activo por nivel bajo).
- Para habilitar o deshabilitar esta función pulse STOP durante 10 segundos.
FUNCIÓN GRABACIÓN
La grabación siempre se realicará sobre un dispositvo de almacenamiento USB de como máximo 1 TB en
formato MP3, 192 kbps a 48 KHz.
- Para comenzar a grabar pulse el botón REC en cualquier momento. Si se está reproducciendo audio
desde el propio dispositivo USB, esta reproducción se detendrá para comenzar a grabar.
- Tenga en cuenta que podrá controlar el volumen de la grabación del control SPEAKER.
FUNCIÓN BLOQUEO
Esta función permite bloquear el software y los controles de la unidad central con una contraseña para que
no puedan ser manipulados por personal ajeno a la organización cuando el sistema está desatendido.
- Para cambiar la contraseña, mantenga pulsado durante 3 segundos el botón MONITOR. Con el control
SPEAKER seleccionará el dígito a modificar y con el control MONITOR puede avanzar al siguiente dígito.
La contraseña por defecto es “0000”.
Cuando haya introducido todos los dígitos de la nueva contraseña, presione de nuevo el botón SPEAKER
para guardar.
- Para bloquear la unidad central mantenga pulsado el botón SPEAKER durante 3 segundos.
- Para desbloquear la unidad central presione cualquier botón, con el control SPEAKER seleccionará el
dígito y con el control MONITOR puede avanzar al siguiente dígito.
NOTA: esta función también está disponible en el software. Para más información consulte el manual del
software.
TRADUCCIÓN SIMULTÁNEA
La función traducción simultánea permite utilizar la entrada MIC INPUT para la traducción en tiempo real de
la conferencia. Esta señal se recibe en cada uno de los micrófonos cuando el selector de estos está en la
posición 2 y la función de traducción simultánea se encuentre activa.
- Para activar la traducción simultánea, en unidad de central SCD-600, haga una pulsación larga del botón
REPEAT/ .
- Para poder escuchar esta señal, debe colocar el interruptor de la salida de auriculares de cada uno de
los micrófonos que deseen escuchar esta señal, en la posición 2. Si el interruptor está en posición 1, se
escuchará todo (entrada de línea, micrófonos y reproductor) excepto la señal de MIC INPUT.
NOTA: si no se conectan los auriculares, el altavoz monitor reproducirá todas las señales excepto la de MIC
INPUT.

*La unidad principal SCD-600 y la extensión SCD-630EXT disponen de 2 puertos, es decir, 2 ramas de
micrófonos por equipo.
IMPORTANTE: la longitud total de la instalación no debe superar los 100 m y los cables entre micrófonos no
deben superar los 2-3 metros.
CONEXIÓN CON CÁMARAS PTZ
Este equipo permite la integración con sistemas de vídeo a través de cable ethernet, conector RS-485).
Existen 2 tipos de conexión: soporte directo del protocol PELCO-D directamente (RS-485); y para el
protocolo VISCA, necesita un convertidor de RS-485 a RS-232

Requisitos:
+ Cámaras con protocolo PELCO-D y ajuste de Baudrate a 9600bps.
+ Conexiones: cable de datos, los pines 1 y 2 son los que se conectan diectamente a la cámara.
En el software:
1.- En la pestaña CÁMARA seleccione el protocolo PELCO_D en el desplegable.
2.- Seleccione la posición de la cámara para el micrófono seleccionado. Seleccione el nombre del
micrófono en el desplegable PRESET (este dato aparece en la esquina inferiror derecha de la
pantalla de cada micrófono).
3.- Realice los ajustes de cada una de las cámaras seleccionandolas con el campo DIRECCIÓN.
4.- Realice los ajustes de foco, zoom y posición y guarde el ajuste pulsando GUARDAR.
NOTA: cuando el micrófono identificado en el PRESET esté activo la o las cámaras configuradas se co-
locarán en la posición establecida.
5.- Repita los pasos 3 y 4 para configurar la posición de todas las cámaras para el mismo preset. Una
vez termine repita todos los pasos cambiando de preset hasta configurar todos los PRESETS para
los micrófonos instalados.

DESCRIPTION
Système de conférence numérique avec fonction DSP et suppresseur de larsen. Possibilité de voter en
direct. Logiciel de configuration et de contrôle depuis un PC. Compatible avec Dante.
L'unité de commande SCD-600 dispose de différents modes de fonctionnement simultané des microphones
: tous, maximum 9, maximum 6 et maximum 3. Jusqu'à 2 groupes de 1 microphone peuvent être utilisés
pour le président SCD-610P et le reste des microphones pour les délégués SCD-620D. Avec 2 extensions
SCD-630EXT, il est possible de connecter jusqu'à 72 microphones au système.

1.- Port de connexion d'un dispositif de stockage USB.
2.- DISCUSS MODE/VOTING : Une brève pression sur ce bouton permet d'accéder aux paramètres du
mode discussion. Une pression longue sur ce bouton permet d'accéder au mode de vote. Pour plus
d'informations, consultez la section INSTRUCTIONS D'UTILISATION.
3.- Écran d'information sur le système de conférence.
4.- PRE/EQ : une brève pression sur ce bouton vous permet de passer à la piste audio précédente en mode
lecture. Une pression longue sur ce bouton permet d'accéder au menu de configuration de l'égaliseur.
5.- PLAY/PAUSE : une brève pression sur ce bouton vous permet de démarrer/pausener la lecture en
mode lecture. Une pression longue sur cette touche permet de changer la langue du système de
conférence (anglais ou espagnol).
6.- NEXT/ : une pression courte sur ce bouton permet de faire défiler vers le haut les différents menus
de configuration. Et une pression longue vous permet de changer le mode de fonctionnement des

En mode lecture, une courte pression sur ce bouton vous permet de passer à la piste audio suivante
