T.E.D.D. REFERENCE GUIDE
FULL ASSEMBLY
TO BE OPERATED BY TRAINED PERSONNEL ONLY
T.E.D.D. is not intended to be used as a weapon, either launched or thrown like
a rock. It is meant to cause maximum disruption with minimal damage. Avoid
striking people or animals with it.

T.E.D.D. SHIPS IN SAFETY LOCK MODE (MODE 8). ONCE
CHARGED, USE THE PROGRAMMING SWITCH TO PUT THE
UNIT INTO AN ACTIVE MODE AND DEPLOY.

OVERVIEW
• Eight (8) programmable Light and Sound Modes.
• Four (4) programmable Activation Delays.
Retains all programmed details in memory.
• ON-READY-OFF Switch
• Programming Switch (small, recessed) - use a small tool like a pen, pencil,
or handcuff key to activate
To Turn ON: Unit must be Readied by pressing ON-READY-OFF Switch,
which lights up Green. When ready to deploy, press Switch again, and the
Green light will start blinking, indicating that the programmed Activation Delay
has begun.
• To Turn OFF: Pressing the same Switch once more. The Green light goes
off.
Note: Unit is shipped in mode 8 (safety lock). If no response, program unit as specified in
the next section.
PROGRAMMING
Light & Sound programmed by pressing recessed Programming Switch while
the ON-READY-OFF (O-R-O) Switch is in OFF mode. Audible sound provides
feedback. This programming must be entered within 4 seconds.
Press Once: Turbo Strobe and Sound: 2 sec., then STOP
Press Twice: Turbo Strobe and Sound: 10 sec. ON, 30 sec. OFF, then
Repeat
Press 3 times: Light and Sound: 2 sec., then STOP
Press 4 times: Light and Sound: 10 sec. ON, 30 sec. OFF, then Repeat
Press 5 times: Turbo Strobe: 2 sec., then STOP
Press 6 times: Light ON Continuous (must be turned off by user)
Press 7 times: Sound: 2 sec., then STOP
Press 8 times: Safety Lock
Note: Modes are retained in memory.

Activation Delay Modes. Programmed by pressing Programming Switch while
the unit is Ready (steady green light). Audible sound provides feedback. This
programming must be entered within 2 seconds.

Once the unit is activated, it goes through a repetitive cycle with the times
shown above. To turn it off, simply press the ON-READY-OFF Switch.
Charge the T.E.D.D. by attaching the DC charger provided to the access port
on the metallic base.

T.E.D.D. user must be a trained law enforcement professional.
T.E.D.D. can be cautiously deployed in any manner the user deems neces-
sary. It can be rolled, thrown, or dropped. If T.E.D.D. is rolled, the product
life is maximized.
WARNINGS
• If T.E.D.D. is thrown or dropped, the product life will depend on the
force with which it is thrown or the height from which it is dropped.
While T.E.D.D. will sustain several 12 ft (3.7 m) drops with minimal
damage, it is impossible to provide guidance on every imaginable
scenario.
• Use maximum caution when deploying T.E.D.D. as the product
becomes a 1.1 lb (500 g) projectile. FoxFury accepts no liability for
damages or injuries caused by incorrect use of T.E.D.D..
• T.E.D.D. should never be thrown at people or animals.

CARE/CLEANING
Your FoxFury product is a professional
tool. Regular maintenance and care of
your light will maximize performance for
you. As needed, wash your FoxFury
product using a soft washcloth, clean
water and a mild soap. When done, pat
dry with a damp cloth.

3-MONTH WARRANTY
Distraction Devices (T.E.D.D. and
others) are meant to be cautiously
thrown. These items carry a three
(3) month warranty with proof of
purchase. While every precaution
has been taken to maximize product
durability, there is no way to validate
if such an item has been used in
extreme circumstances.
All warranty inquiries should be
directed to FoxFury’s Customer
Service Department to handle all
warranty/repair-related inquiries.
