Allmänna anvisningar
Läs noga igenom denna bruksanvisning
innan apparaten installeras och tas i bruk.
Spara den sedan på säker plats för senare
användning.
Vid installation, rengöring och byte av
lampa ska strömförsörjningen alltid brytas.
Värmekällan i IRC15 är en halogenlampa som
innehåller en värmetråd vars drifttemperatur
är ca 2200 ºC. Livslängden är beroende på
omgivningstemperaturen och hur värmaren är
monterad. När värmaren installeras fritt och/
eller utomhus blir driftstemperaturen lägre
och livslängden på lampan längre.
Garantin för värmaren gäller endast om
den installeras och används på det sätt som
beskrivs i denna anvisning.
Användningsområde
Eftersom denna CE-märkta infravärmare
är vatten- och spolskyddad enligt IPX5 är
den speciellt lämpad att användas i tuffa
miljöer t.ex. utomhus och i fuktiga eller våta
utrymmen.
Vanligen används den för att höja komforten i
området framför värmaren.
IRC15 kan också användas för torkning
t.ex. vid vattenskada eller liknande.
Värmestrålningen som träffar den våta ytan
förkortar då torktiden avsevärt.
Vintertid kan infravärmaren användas för att
hålla en yta framför apparaten frostfri.
Montering
Efter uppackning ska apparaten-
kontrolleras. Säkerställ att alla delar finns
med, inga skador syns och kontrollera att
tillgänglig spänning överensstämmer med
den som anges på apparatens dataskylt.
IRC15 ska monteras minst 1,8 m över-
golvet. Rekommenderad monteringshöjd är
2,10 – 2,70 m från golv.
Montera alltid värmaren så att-
halogenlampan är horisontell.
Installera aldrig IRC15 på eller vid en-
lättantändlig yta.
Rikta reflektorn i önskad riktning vid-
installationen. Den normala vinkeln
är 45 ° nedåtriktad i förhållande till
horisontalplanet.
IRC15 måste placeras på ett avstånd av-
minst 2,0 meter från brännbara föremål
såsom papp, tyger etc.
Om värmaren används i verkstäder och-
garage där det finns brandfarlig färg,
bränslen eller dyligt måste värmaren
vara belägen mer än 4,0 meter från dessa
ämnen.
Vi rekommenderar att värmaren inte-
används i icke ventilerade, dammiga
miljöer, för att undvika förkortad livslängd
av halogenlampan.
Bäst effekt blir det om personer som-
ska värmas nås av värmestrålar från två
motsatta riktningar.
I förpackningen medföljer en konsol för-
montering på vägg. Kontrollera att väggen
är stabil och att skruvarna får fullt fäste.
Vid monteringen måste följande regler följas:
- Värmaren får endast monteras horisontellt
och med hjälp av den medföljande
väggkonsolen.
- Värmaren får inte monteras direkt under
ett vägguttag.
- Minimiavstånden angivna i fig. 1 på sidan 2
måste säkerställas.
Använd inte värmaren i direkt anslutning-
till badkar, dusch eller swimmingpool.
Värmaren får inte installeras där det finns-
risk för explosiva eller brännbara gaser.
Elinstallation
Elanslutningen ska utföras av behörig
installatör och följa gällande föreskrifter.
Anslut IRC15 till enfas 220-240V med
jordanslutning.

Säkerhet
- Apparaten har vid drift heta ytor.
- Värmaren är försedd med skyddsgaller för
att hindra beröring eller att större föremål
når den varma lampan. Apparaten får inte
användas utan detta skyddsgaller.
- Apparaten får ej övertäckas helt eller delvis
då övertäckning medför brandfara.
- Se till så att brännbart material inte finns
samlat på och/eller nära värmaren
Säkerställ att damm och smuts inte samlas-
i eller i närheten av värmaren.
Varning!
Halogen lampor skadadas om de hanteras-
med bara händer. Håll dem endast i
porslinsanslutningarna.
Om olyckligtvis man skulle ta i-
halogenröret med bara händer, gör rent det
med en mjuk trasa fuktad med alkohol
Strömkabel och lampa måste bytas endast-
av tillverkaren eller kunnig elektriker/
tekniker
Användning
- Alla användare ska ha tillgång till
denna anvisnings innehåll, särskilt
säkerhetsinformationen.
- Apparaten får bara användas på det sätt
som framgår av denna anvisning.
- Barn eller personer som saknar kunskap
om riskerna med värmaren får inte
använda den.
- Ta inte i apparaten med våta händer.
- Se till så att värmestrålningen riktas mot
den yta som ska värmas.
- När lokalen eller platsen för installationen
lämnas rekommenderas att värmaren
stängs av.
Underhåll
Vid allt underhåll ska strömförsörjningen till
apparaten vara frånkopplad.
Apparaten har inga rörliga delar så kravet på
underhåll är litet, men den måste hållas ren
från damm och smuts. Om reflektorn inte är
ren kommer värmestrålningen från apparaten
att minska och apparaten blir varmare. Större
mängder kan orsaka överhettning.
Rengör därför hölje och lampa regelbundet
med hjälp av t.ex. en fin borste eller tryckluft.
Byte av lampa
Lampan ska bytas av en elinstallatör eller
annan kompetent personal.
För att byta glödlampan:
1. Koppla ifrån värmaren från det elektriska
nätet.
2. Skruva av de två sidopanelerna (varje har 3
skruvar).
3. Ta bort sidostyckena från armaturen, vilka
lossas genom att dra dem uppåt.
4. Lossa ändarna av glödlampan från
armaturen. Dessa skyddas av svarta
silikontätningarna.
5. Ta bort tätningarna från glödlampan genom
att föra dem längs anslutningskablarna.
6. Nu när två anslutningarna är frilagda är det
bara att dra av kabelskorna från flatstiften
och glödlampan är lös.
7. Den nya glödlampan ansluts på samma
sätt som den gamla och montaget
sker i i omvänd ordning jämfört med
beskrivningen för demontage av
glödlampan. kontrolera

General instructions
Read these instructions carefully before
installation and use. Keep this manual for
future reference. During installation and
maintenance and when replacing the lamp
the heater should always be disconnected
from the power supply.
The element of IRC15 is a halogen lamp that
is operating at about 2200 ºC. The expected
lifetime of the lamp is depending on the
ambient temperature and where the heater
is installed. When it is mounted airy and
outdoor the lamp will live longer.
The guarantee is only valid if the heater is
installed and used in a way that is described
in this instruction.
Application area
This infrared heater is tested and approved
according to the EMC- and LVD regulations
and is CE compliant. Thanks to the high
protection class IPX5 it is also suitable for
installation outdoors and under other damp
and wet conditions.
Normally IRC15 is used to give comfort for
people in the area in front of or under the
heater, but it can also be used for drying. The
wet surface will be heated by the radiation
and the evaporation goes faster.
In winter IRC15 also can be used for
defrosting purposes.
Mounting
After unpacking make sure that the-
appliance is complete and shows no signs
of visible damage.
Make sure that the voltage is the same as-
indicated on the rating label.
IRC15 must be mounted at least 1,8 m-
above the floor. Recommended installation
height is 2.10 to 2.70 meters.
Never install Helios TOP on an-
inflammable surface or facing an
inflammable surface.
Enclosed in the package there is a wall-
bracket. Make sure that the wall is firm
and that proper screws are used.
Aim the reflector in the direction required-
for the wall-mounted installation. The
normal angle is 45° to the horizontal
plane.
Helios TOP must be placed at a clear-
distance (line of vision) of not less
than 2.0 metres from objects such as
cardboard, fabrics etc
and windows.-
If used in workshops and garages where-
there are inflammable paints or fuels,
Helios TOP must be located more than 4.0
metres from the hazard.
We recommend that the heater should-
not be used in non-ventilated dusty
environments to avoid damage to the
bulb.
The best comfort is experienced when a-
person is heated from two directions.
Following important notes must be followed:
- The heater should always be installed
horizontally and only by using the brackets
provided.
- The heater must not be located directly
below a wall socket.
- The minimum distances according to fig. 1
at page 2 must be kept.
- Do not use the heater directly near a
bathtub, a shower or a swimming pool.
Electrical installation
The electrical installation should be
carried out by a qualified electrician and
in conformity with prevailing regulations.
Connect Helios TOP to a single-phase
220-240V power supply
The IRC15 must be earthed.
Safety
- During operation the surfaces of the unit
are hot! Make shure that no flammable
objects comes in contact with the heater
durong operation
- Always position the equipment so that the
halogen bulb is horizontal.
- The heaters are fitted with a safety guard.
This is intended only to stop large objects
from hitting the lamp. The heater must not
be operated with the guard removed.

- The guard does not give full protection for
young children and for infirm persons.
- The unit must not be covered fully or
partially as overheating can result in a fire!
- Ensure that there is no excessive build-up
of dust/dirt on or around the heater as this
also can cause overheating.
WARNING!
- Halogen bulbs are damaged by contact with
bare hands.Only touch the end caps.
- Should you accidentally touch the surface
of the bulb with bare hands, clean it
immediately with a soft cloth moistened
with alcohol
- The power cable must be replaced only by
the manufacturer, the assistance service or
expert technicians
Operation
- All users should be made aware of all
aspects of operation and safety mentioned
in this instruction.
- The appliance is only to be used according
to these instructions.
- Children or persons without the right skills
or undrstanding of this equipment must
not use this appliance.
- Do not touch the heater with wet hands.
- Avoid improper use of extension cords.
- Ensure that the heater is aiming its
warmth into the target area. After you have
loosened the screws locking the heater to
the bracket adjust the angle as shown on
page 3.
- It's recommended to switch off the
appliance before leaving the premises were
the heater/heaters are installed.
Maintenance
During maintenance the heater must be
disconnected from the power supply.
The heater contains no moving parts and
therefore very little maintenance is required
other than to ensure that there is no
excessive build-up of dust/dirt on the reflector
or lamp as this can cause overheating and
premature lamp failure.
To keep your IRC15 in perfect condition,
occasionally dust the cover and bulb with a
brush or compressed air.
Replacement of the halogen bulb
This should only be done by a qualified
eletrician.
1. Disconnect the appliance from all supply
sources.
2. Unscrew the 2 side panels (each has 3
screws).
3. Remove the side panels from the body,
which come out by pulling them upwards.
4. Remove the two ends of the bulb, which are
protected by the black silicon seals, from
the two steel spring clips.
5. Remove the seals from the bulb, running
them along the wire.
6. Now that the two connectors are bare, the
two parts can be disconnected, left and
right and the new bulb can be inserted.
7. Assamble in the reverse order compared to
the instructions above.
