2. Presentation
The Seadoo Rotax 300 2010-2023 ADAPTER HARNESS, designed by
FuelTech, is the perfect solution for FuelTech ECU installation using the PWC
OEM harness.
The FT wiring harness has all necessary components for easy and fast FT550
ECU installation.
Characteristics:
This wiring harness plugs directly to the OEM harness.
There are also two spare extra connectors for inputs and output available in
FT550.
3. Warnings and Warranty Terms
The use of this equipment implies in total accordance with the terms
described in this manual and exempts the manufacturer from any
responsibility regarding product misuse.
Read all the information in this manual before starting the product installation.
This product must be installed and tuned by specialized auto shops
and/or personnel with experience in engine tuning.
Before starting any electrical installation, disconnect the battery.
The inobservance of any of the warnings or precautions described in this
manual may lead to engine damage and could cause the products warranty
to be voided.
This product does not have a certication for the use on aircrafts or any ying
vehicles, as it was not designed for such use or purpose.
In some countries/states where Emission Control is enforced, no modication
to the OEM ECU is permitted. Be informed about local laws and regulations
prior to the product installation.
Limited Warranty
All products manufactured by FUELTECH are warranted to be free from
defects in material and workmanship for three months following the date of
original purchase. Warranty claim must be made by original owner with proof of
purchase from an authorized reseller. This warranty does not include sensors
or other products that FUELTECH carries but did not manufacture. If a product

is found defective, such products will, at FUELTECH’s option, be replaced or
repaired at no cost. All products alleged by Purchaser to be defective must be
returned to FUELTECH, postage prepaid, within the one year warranty period.
Purchaser must obtain an RMA number from FUELTECH and complete an RMA
form to be included in the return shipment prior to sending back the product.
This limited warranty does not cover labor or other costs or expenses incidental
to the repair and/or replacement of products or parts. This limited warranty
does not apply to any product which has been subject to misuse, mishandling,
misapplication, neglect (including but not limited to improper maintenance),
accident, improper installation, tampered seal, modication (including but not
limited to use of unauthorized parts or attachments), or adjustment or repair
performed by anyone other than FUELTECH.
The parties hereto expressly agree that the purchaser’s sole and exclusive
remedy against FUELTECH shall be for the repair or replacement of the
defective product as provided in this limited warranty. This exclusive remedy
shall not be deemed to have failed of its essential purpose so long as
FUELTECH is willing and able to repair or replace defective goods.
FUELTECH reserves the right to request additional information such as, but
not limited to, tune up and log les in order to evaluate a claim.
Seal violation voids warranty and renders loss of access to software updates.

4. Overview
This manual gives information about the Seadoo Rotax 300 2010-2023
adapter HARNESS. This harness works as an adapter, connected between
the FuelTech ECU and OEM harness.
IBR and oem dashboard operation: it was tested and validated on the
2022 RXPX with the color dashboard model, other years and version may not
work properly, please contact tech support for more information.
There are 2 lengths available:
4ft long version  ts RXPX and similar hulls
8ft long version  ts RXTX and GTX hulls
1 - FT550 (A and B) Connectors
2 - Extra connector (8 ways)
3 - Fuel pump Relay
4 - OEM Connectors (A, and B) connected to OEM Harness
5 - Ignition Driver Connector (BOSCH)
6 - Extra connector (12 ways)

5. Installation
To install this harness on your PWC follow the steps:
a. Remove the seat and covers to get to the engine and ECU compartment.
b. Disconnect the battery terminals (1).
c. Disconnect the stock ECU.
d. Place the FuelTech harness away from heat part like exhaust, safely
attach it to the Hull or engine cold side.
e. Connect the FuelTech harness to the OEM engine harness.
f. Decide where your FuelTech ECU will be located and run the FuelTech
harness to it, connect to the back of the FT550.
g. If not using stock MAP Sensor, then run a provided vacuum hose from
the integrated MAP sensor in the back of the FT550 to the intake manifold
vacuum port (preferably a new exclusive port, but if not possible, use the
oem port for the oem MAP sensor).
IMPORTANT
Never split the MAP sensor hose with a Blow off valve
vacuum hose since blow off chamber will affect MAP
sensor reading at deceleration and cause malfunction.
h. Connect the provided USB cable to the back of the FT550 to be able
to connect to your laptop.
i. Connect the External igniter box to the harness.
l. If additional sensors and actuators are present, refer to the Extra Input
and Extra Output connectors wiring diagrams.

c. After  nished the update, write the map in the ECU
d. Check the con gured inputs and outputs on the map. To do so, access
the menu “Sensors and Calibration/Inputs” (4) and “Sensors and
Calibration/Outputs” (5).
6. Confi guration steps
For correct harness installation follow the steps below.
Start by going to your “Sample Start Maps” folder after installing the 5.0 or
newer version of FTManager.
This tune contains all the inputs, outputs, engine settings and a base tune for
a stock unmodi ed engine. Proper tuning will be required and use of this  le
is at your own risk as it is only meant to help you with the initial setup of your
new FuelTech system.
IMPORTANT
The Maps in this section should be used only as a BASE/EXAMPLE
to start tuning your engine for the fi rst time!
It is still mandatory to have an experienced tuner check all of
the input and output confi gurations to ensure they are all prop-
erly setup with your specifi c installation before any of your new
electronic equipment is powered up and your engine is started
for the fi rst time.
The downloading and use of these maps from this section is your
sole responsibility. FuelTech is not responsible for any damages
caused to your vehicle/installation by using the maps available
in this folder.
a. First step is downloading FTManager software, Then ensure your ECU
is updated to 5.0 version or newer, Next open the FTManager software
and plug your ECU into your laptop using the supplied USB cable.
b. Go to the “Tools” tab (1) click on the “ECU Updater” button (2) now click
on the update button (3).

Input #4 may be Oil temperature or Muffl er temperature
depending on the model.

e. After changes in the map it is necessary to save them. Write the map in
the ECU.
f. Calibrate the TPS. Click on the “Home” tab (6) and then click on the
“TPS/Pedal Calibration” button (7)
g. The idle throttle position sensor is something you will likely have to set
 rst time you run the engine. Leave the lever in the idle position and click
on calibrate 0%, then press the lever all the way to the end and click on
calibrate 100%
h. Last step click on “Read ECU” button.

RPM and CAM Signal
IBR Mode
IBR mode is connected to FuelTech’s CAN B, to do so, access the menu
“Sensors and Calibration/CAN Communication” Select OEM CAN at CAN
Port B. Follow the images below to correctly con gure OEM CAN Network.

7. Connectors
7.1 FuelTech adapter connectors
This connector must be plugged in to the OEM
harness.
7.2 Connectors for extra inputs and
outputs
These connectors, extra inputs and outputs not
used in the main harness are available and can
be used for other functions that are not used
by the original harness.
After that, access the menu OEM CAN and select “Sea-doo PWC”

7.3 OEM Connectors Identifi cation
There are two connectors for Seadoo Rotax 300. Connector A is gray and
connector B is black.
Both connectors have row and column markings for pin identi cation, as
shown below.
7.4 Ignition Driver Connector
This connector must be connected to a Bosch® ignition driver (part number
0227.100.203) for the functioning of the ignition coils
Suggested and tested part numbers:
• Bosch: 227100203
• Duralast: RB136
• ACDelco: F1901A
• HUCO: 13 8403

To install this harness on your PWC follow the
steps:
a. Install the Bosch O2 sensor in the
exhaust follow procedure in WB-O2 Nano
manuals.
b. In the Nano harness cut the plug (1).
c. Use the 12-way connector matting
connector for WB-O2 Nano or Nano PRO
installation.
d. Follow the table below to connect the
wires at main harness.
