Functions
LOCKING FUNCTION
By closing the door, two latching deadbolts (autosafe 833)or
two latching and hook bolt combinations (autosafe 835)ex-
tend automatically to 20 mm. Both are secured against being
pushed back. The door is unlocked by means of the handle
or via the profile cylinder key from outside. The main dead-
bolt can be locked by a simple turn of the key. The handle is
blocked as a control or as child lock.
Restrictor function 833/835
(retrofittable option)
Internal: A 90° turn of the knob enables the restrictor func-
tion. A turn in the opposite direction disables the restrictor
function.
External: The restrictor cannot be operated from the outside.
Restrictor function 833SP /835SP
Internal: A 90° turn of the knob enables the restrictor func-
tion. A turn in the opposite direction disables the restrictor
function.
External: If the restrictor function is deactivated the door may
be opened by cylinder key as usual. If the restrictor function is
activated the main deadbolt has to be locked out once again
via the cylinder key. Afterwards the door can be opened via
the cylinder key as usual.
Day latch function 833/ 835*
(optional version)
Day latch activation: Press the lever han-
dle to the limit stop and hold on (1). Slide
the day latch switch to the limit stop (2).
Release the lever handle. The latching deadbolts
(autosafe 833) or latching and hook bolt com-
binations (autosafe 835) now stay retracted; the
main latch is still in function.
Day latch deactivation: Bring the day latch
switch back into the starting position. The addi-
tional locking points are now in operation again.
* In order to use the day latch function a FUHR mecha-
nical or electric strike has to be used.
If a motor is retrofitted, a mechanical door strike wit-
hout unlocking lever must be used, as the latch is not
retracted by the motor.
SCHLIESSFUNKTION
Beim Schließen der Tür fahren automatisch zwei Fallenrie-
gel (autosafe 833) bzw. zwei Fallenbolzen-Schwenkrie-
gel-Kombinationen (autosafe 835) auf 20 mm aus. Diese
sind gegen Zurückdrücken gesichert. Geöffnet wird von
innen einfach über den Drücker oder von außen über den
Schlüssel des Profilzylinders.Der Hauptriegel kann mit einer
Schlüsselumdrehung ausgeschlossen werden. Der Drücker
blockiert dann zu Kontrollzwecken oder als Kindersicherung.
Sperrbügelfunktion 833/835
(optional nachrüstbar)
Innen: Durch eine 90° Drehung des Knopfes wird die
Sperrbügelfunktion aktiviert. Durch Drehung in Gegenrich-
tung wird die Sperrbügelfunktion deaktiviert.
Außen: Von der Außenseite ist der Sperrbügel nicht zu be-
dienen.
Sperrbügelfunktion 833SP/835SP
Innen: Durch eine 90° Drehung des Knopfes wird die Sperr-
bügelfunktion aktiviert. Durch Drehung in Gegenrichtung
wird die Sperrbügelfunktion deaktiviert.
Außen: Bei deaktivierter Sperrbügelfunktion kann die Tür
wie üblich über den Schlüssel des Profilzylinders geöffnet
werden. Bei aktivierter Sperrbügelfunktion muss der Haupt-
riegel über den Schlüssel des Profilzylinders noch einmal
ausgeschlossen werden. Anschließend kann die Tür wie üb-
lich über den Schlüssel des Profilzylinders geöffnet werden.
Tagesfallenfunktion 833/835*
(optionale Ausführung)
Tagesfalle aktivieren: Drücker bis zum Anschlag
betätigen und halten (1). Den Tagesschieber bis
zum Anschlag schieben (2). Den Drücker wieder
loslassen. Die Fallenriegel (autosafe 833) bzw.
die Fallenbolzen-Schwenkriegel-Kombinationen
(autosafe 835) bleiben jetzt eingezogen, die
Hauptfalle ist weiterhin in Funktion.
Tagesfalle deaktivieren: Den Tagesschieber
wieder in die Ausgangsstellung bringen. Die Ne-
benverriegelungen sind nun wieder in Funktion.
* Um die Tagesfallenfunktion nutzen zu können, wird ein
FUHR Türöffner (elektrisch oder mechanisch) benötigt.
Wird nachträglich ein Motor montiert, muss ein mecha-
nischer Türöffner ohne Entriegelungshebel eingesetzt
werden, da die Falle nicht durch den Motor eingezogen
wird.

VdS-anerkannte Schließsysteme
VdS-approved locking systems
Bitte beachten:
In die VdS-anerkannte Mehrfachverriegelung ist ein VdS-
anerkannter Profilzylinder einzubauen. Der Profilzylinder ist
mit einem VdS-anerkannten oder DIN-geprüften einbruch-
hemmenden Türschild zu schützen.
Der Schlüssel ist stets sicher aufzubewahren, sodass er nur
dem Berechtigten zugänglich ist.
Bei Schlüsselverlust ist der Zylinder unverzüglich zu tau-
schen oder durch Änderung der Kodierung auf eine neue
Schließung umzustellen bzw. die Kodierung des verlorenen
Schlüssels zu sperren/löschen.
Die erforderliche Klasse für diese Komponenten richtet sich
nach der Klasse des Schlosses und kann folgenden Tabellen
entnommen werden:

Please note:
A VdS-approved profile cylinder is to be installed in the VdS
-approved multipoint locking system. The profile cylinder is
to be protected with a VdS-approved or DIN-tested burglar
resistant door plate.
The key must always be kept secure so that it is accessible
only to the authorized person.
In the case of key loss, the cylinder must be replaced imme-
diately or, by changing to a new coding, or the coding of the
lost key must be blocked /deleted.
The required class for these components depends on the
class of the lock as shown in the following tables:

Installation notes
Das autosafe 833/835(SP) lässt sich durch
Montage eines Motorantriebs zu einem
autotronic 834/836(SP) mit motorischer
Entriegelung wie folgt aufwerten:
1. Entfernen Sie die beiden schwarzen Ab-
deckkappen am Schloss-Stulp sowie den
Klebestreifen am Motorantrieb.
2. Setzen Sie den Motorantrieb hinter den
Schloss-Stulp und achten Sie dabei auf den
korrekten Sitz des Federbandes.
3. Befestigen Sie nun die Schrauben und die
Abdeckkappe des Reedkontaktes.

The autosafe 833/835(SP) can be upgraded
to an autotronic 834/836(SP) with motor-
ised unlocking by mounting a motor drive as
follows:
1. Remove the two black cover caps on the
lock faceplate and the adhesive strip on the
motor drive.
2. Place the motor drive behind the lock face-
plate and make sure that the steel tape is
correctly seated.
3. Now fasten the screws and the cover cap of
the reed contact.

• Einsetzbar für Elemente aus Kunststoff, Holz, Aluminium
und Stahl.
• Flügel und Rahmen müssen auf der gesamten Höhe parallel
verlaufen.
• Es sind ausschließlich Profilzylinder gemäß DIN 18252
einzusetzen.
• Ausfräsung für die Schlosskästen gemäß Zeichnung.
• Ausfräsung für Profilzylinder und Drücker müssen fluchten.
• Beschlagbohrungen niemals bei eingebautem Schloss
vornehmen.
• Vor dem Einbau des Schlosses sind sämtliche Verunreini-
gungen z. B. Späne aus dem Fräsbereich zu entfernen.
• Stulpe und Schließteile durch Schrauben mit ø 4 mm, Länge
dem Profilsystem angepasst, befestigen.
• Die Montageschrauben müssen rechtwinklig zur Stulpe
positioniert eingedreht werden.
• Exakten Sitz der Schließteile gemäß Zeichnung beachten.
• Beim Anziehen der Stulpschrauben darauf achten, dass sich
die Treibstangen frei bewegen können.
• Für SKG-geprüfte Kunststoff-Elemente: Stulpe und Schließ-
teile durch mindestens zwei Schrauben (ø 4 mm) mit dem
Verstärkungsprofil verbinden.
• Für SKG-geprüfte Aluminium-Elemente: Stulpe und
Schließteile durch Schrauben mit ø 4 mm, Länge dem Pro-
filsystem angepasst, mit dem Aluminium-Profil befestigen.
• Für SKG-geprüfte Holz-Elemente: Stulpe und Schließteile
durch Schrauben mit ø 4 mm, Länge 40 mm, befestigen.
• Bei evtl. Schwergängigkeit einer Funktion nach Montage
des Schlosses niemals gewaltsam vorgehen! Stattdessen ist
die Ursache zu ergründen und abzustellen.
• Beim Transport der Türen – auch bei verriegeltem Schloss –
den Flügel vor Verschiebung schützen.
• Applicable for elements made of PVC, timber, aluminium
or steel.
• Door leaves and frame must run in parallel throughout the
entire height.
• Solely profile cylinders according to DIN 18252 have to be
installed.
• Mortise for the lock cases as per drawing.
• Mortise for the profile cylinder and lever must be in align-
ment.
• Never drill the fitting when the lock has been installed.
• All contamination such as shavings as a result of drilling
must be removed prior to the installation of the lock.
• Attach faceplate and strike plates with screws of a 4 mm
diameter and a length matching the profile system.
• Fixing screws have to be positioned perpendicular to the
faceplate.
• Observe exact position of the strike plates as per drawing.
• Observe by fixing the faceplate screws that the rods must
have the room to move freely.
• For SKG-certified PVCu doors: Connect faceplate and
strike plates to the reinforcing profile with at least two
screws (ø 4 mm).
• For SKG-certified aluminium doors: Attach faceplate and
strike plates with the aluminium profile with screws of a
4 mm diameter, length matching to the profile system.
• For SKG-certified timber doors: Attach faceplate and strike
plates with screws of a 4 mm diameter and 40 mm in
length.
• Do not use force in the event of tightness or sluggish op-
eration after the lock has been installed! The cause of the
problem should be ascertained and remedied instead.
• Suitable protection must be applied to the door leaves
during transportation even if the locks are bolted.

Wartung
Maintenance
Bauherren und Benutzer sind darauf hinzuweisen, dass
mindestens jährlich folgende Wartungsarbeiten durchzu-
führen sind:
• Alle beweglichen Teile sind auf Funktion zu prüfen.
• Bei geöffneter Tür sind alle vorstehenden Fallen bzw. Fallen-
riegel leicht zu fetten.
• Sicherheitsrelevante Beschlagteile sind auf festen Sitz und
auf Verschleiß zu kontrollieren.
• Je nach Erfordernis sind durch einen Fachbetrieb die Befes-
tigungsschrauben nachzuziehen bzw. die beschädigten
oder verschlissenen Beschlagteile gegen Originalteile aus-
zutauschen.
• Es sind nur solche Reinigungs- und Pflegemittel zu
verwenden, die den Korrosionsschutz der Beschlagteile
nicht beeinträchtigen.
WICHTIG: Die aufgeführten Punkte dienen als Ergän-
zung zu der FUHR Information zur Produkthaftung für
Türverschlüsse, siehe www.fuhr.de. Bauherren und
Benutzer sind auf deren Einhaltung hinzuweisen. Bei
Nichteinhaltung dieser unbedingt erforderlichen Hin-
weise kann keine Gewährleistung für die einwandfreie
Funktion der Schlösser gegeben werden.
Owners and users of buildings are advised that the following
maintenance work has to be carried out at least once a year:
• All movable and locking parts have to be checked for their
correct function.
• When the door is open, all protruding latches respectively
deadlocking latches have to be oiled.
• Safety-relevant hardware should be checked for wear and
tear and a continuous firm fit.
• Depending on requirement fixing screws have to be tigh-
tened or the damaged or worn parts exchanged for original
parts by an authorized specialist.
• Only cleaning and care products that do not affect the hard-
ware’s anti-corrosion qualities must be used.
IMPORTANT: The points outlined above are intended as
an addition to the FUHR Product Liability Information for

building managers are instructed to comply with. In the
event of non-compliance with these necessary instruc-
