2.4 Oper tion

•If he s all preven ion func ion (curren limi er), au oma ic decelera ion (an i-regenera ive con rol), or overload preven ion con rol
has been selec ed, he inver er may opera e wi h accelera ion/decelera ion or frequency differen from he commanded ones.
Design he machine so ha safe y is ensured even in such cases.
•The key on he keypad is effec ive only when he keypad opera ion is enabled wi h func ion code F02 (= 0, 2 or 3). When
he keypad opera ion is disabled, prepare an emergency s op swi ch separa ely for safe opera ions.
•If any of he pro ec ive func ions have been ac iva ed, firs remove he cause. Then, af er checking ha he all run commands
are se o OFF, release he alarm. If he alarm is released while any run commands are se o ON, he inver er may supply he
power o he mo or, running he mo or.
Otherwise, n ccident could occur.
•If you enable he “Res ar mode af er momen ary power failure” (Func ion code F14 = 3 o 5), hen he inver er au oma ically
res ar s running he mo or when he power is recovered.

•If he user configures he func ion codes wrongly wi hou comple ely unders anding his Ins ruc ion Manual and he FUJI -
HYDRAULIC User’s Manual, he mo or may ro a e wi h a orque or a a speed no permi ed for he machine.

•Even if he inver er has in errup ed power o he mo or, if he vol age is applied o he main circui inpu erminals L1/R, L2/S
and L3/T, vol age may be ou pu o inver er ou pu erminals U, V, and W.
•Even if the motor is stopped due to DC braking, voltage is output to inverter output terminals U, V, and W.
An electric shock m y occur.
•The inver er can easily accep high-speed opera ion. When changing he speed se ing, carefully check he specifica ions of
mo ors or equipmen beforehand.
Otherwise, injuries could occur.

•The DC brake func ion of he inver er does no provide any holding mechanism.

•Ensure safe y before modifying he func ion code se ings.
Run commands (e.g., “Run forward” FWD, “Force o run” FMS), s op commands (e.g., “Coas o a s op” BX), and frequency
change commands can be assigned o digi al inpu erminals. Depending upon he assignmen s a es of hose erminals,
modifying he func ion code se ing may cause a sudden mo or s ar or an abrup change in speed.
•When he inver er is con rolled wi h he digi al inpu signals, swi ching run or frequency command sources wi h he rela ed
erminal commands (e.g., SS1, SS2, SS4, SS8, Hz2/Hz1, Hz/PID, IVS, LE and FMS) may cause a sudden mo or s ar or an
abrup change in speed.
•Ensure safe y before modifying cus omizable logic rela ed func ion code se ings (U codes and rela ed func ion codes) or
urning ON he “Cancel cus omizable logic” erminal command CLC. Depending upon he se ings, such modifica ion or
cancella ion of he cus omizable logic may change he opera ion sequence o cause a sudden mo or s ar or an unexpec ed
mo or opera ion.
•If any abnormali y is found in he inver er or mo or, immedia ely s op i and perform roubleshoo ing, referring o he FUJI -
HYDRAULIC User’s Manual.
