corresponding to the electrical rating in the machine operating
instructions (also listed on the serial number label).
The socket-outlet shall be located near the equipment
and shall be easily accessible.
Unplug the ProClick®Pronto™™

™before moving the machine or
whenever the machine is not in use for an extended period of
time.
The grounding plug is a safety feature and will only fit into the
proper grounding-type power outlet. If you are unable to insert
the plug into an outlet, contact a qualified electrician to have a
suitable outlet installed. Do not alter the plug on the end of the
cordset (if provided) of the ProClick®Pronto™™

™. It has been
provided for your safety.

In order to hide the spine seam of a completed document,
you must place the rear cover face to face on top of the
front cover before you insert the document into the “Bind”
sections as indicated in the above illustration.
Insert punched document into the binding slot (punched
side first)
Press “BIND” to bind your document and remove the
document after you hear a BEEP.
Additional documents can be bound without resizing, if
binding books are of the same document size.
The ProClick®Pronto™™
™™
™ will time out to the first step if it
stays idle for 2 minutes. You will need to resize your
document to continue.
Once the ProClick® Pronto™™
™™
™
has measured the
document thickness, the display will indicate the correct
spine size to load into the machine. The example shown in
Display 2 indicates “Small” under “Insert correct
ProClick®spine size”.
The system will allow you to bind small documents with
larger spine sizes.
Insert the appropriate spine cassette into spine slot as
shown in Display 2.
4.5 Binding
Insert document into document sizer for the machine to
identify the document size as shown in Display 1.
The machine identifies the document in 3 different
sizes, “Small”, “Medium” and “Large”.

4.6 Editing your document
The ProClick®Pronto™™
™™
™has a special spine opener tool where you
can unbind the bound book for editing.
To unbind a bound book, just insert the wedge of the spine opener
tool into the loops of the ProClick®spine and pull forward in a sliding
action. This opens the ProClick®allowing you to edit the documents
and manually resecure the bind spine.

5.0 Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
No Power, No Lights
No Power, No Lights, Unit Is Plugged In,
ON/OFF Switch is ON.
Empty Chip Tray When the chip tray is full (approximately 60 books) the User Interface will show the Icon
below indicating the tray is full and needs to be emptied.
Removing a Jam
Flashing Error Display
The machine will detect all inputs (binding spine not in machine, document size not
measured, safety cover closed) before allowing binding to proceed.
If any of these are not in place, the machine will not bind and the user interface will
display the corresponding requirement for user action.
Pull Tray out and empty tray Replace empty tray
The machine will NOT operate without the chip tray securely in place
Open Cover
Slide Tray Up
Remove jammed Spine.
Lower paper desk back into the original
operating position.

If the machine still shows the same error flashing, call a service technician for
assistance.
Not ready to bind
Contact an Authorized GBC Technician to order replacement parts.
Please provide the machine model and serial number for reference.
Make sure that there is no paper on the paper deck when inserting spine.
If the bind spine is smaller than the sized document, the machine will not bind.
If user interface display “Insert punched document into sizer”, the user will need to
resize the document in the document sizer.
Machine does not resize
Power Cord has been lost
Wrong sequence of operation If user inserts the document before inserting the spine cassette, the user interface will show
a “Remove document” error.

“PUNCH”.
Remarque:
Un maximum de 15 feuilles reliées de 9kg peuvent être
perforées à la fois.
Ne pas tenter de perforer plus de deux couvertures en

enlevez-le lorsque vous entendez un “BIP”
Des documents supplémentaires peuvent être reliés sans
avoir à redimensionner, si les livres de reliure sont de la
même taille de document.
En cas d’inaction pendant deux minutes, ProClick®
Pronto™™

™reviendra à la première étape. Vous devrez
redimensionner votre document avant de continuer.
Une fois que ProClick®Pronto™™
™™
™a mesuré l’épaisseur du
document, l’affichage indiquera la taille correcte du dos à
charger sur la machine. L’exemple montré sur l’illustration 2
indique "Small" sous "Insert correct ProClick®spine size".
Le système vous permet de relier de petits documents
avec des tailles du dos plus grandes.
Insérez la cassette du dos appropriée dans la fente de

4.5 Reliure
Le ProClick®Pronto™™

possible de délier le livre relié pour l’édition.
Insérez un document dans le calibreur de documents pour
que la machine identifie la taille du document tel qu’il est
montré sur l’illustration 1.
La machine identifie le document selon 3 tailles
différentes, “Small”, “Medium” et “Large”.

Afin de cacher la ligne de collage d’un document terminé, il
vous faut mettre le plat verso face à face en haut du plat
recto avant d’insérer le document dans les sections de
“Bind”, comme il est indiqué ci-dessus.
Inversez la dernière page ou couverture du document puis
placez-le sur le dessus pour vous assurer que le côté imprimé
de la poignée est face à vous comme montrer sur l’étiquette.

Pour enlever la reliure d’un livre relié, il suffit d’insérer le coin de l’outil
d’ouverture du dos dans les boucles du dos ProClick®et de tirer en
le glissant. Ceci ouvre ProClick®et vous permet ainsi d’éditer les
documents et de remettre le dos manuellement.

5.0 Dépannage
Problème Solution
Pas d’alimentation, Pas de voyants  Vérifiez que l’unité est branchée.
 Vérifiez l’interrupteur ON/OFF.
Pas de courant, pas de lumières, l’unité est  Contactez un Technicien autorisé GBC pour l’entretien
branchée et l’interrupteur ON/OFF est sur ON.
Vider le Bac à Copeaux Quand le bac est plein, (environ 60 livres), l’interface de l’utilisateur montrera un icône à côté
du bac pour indiquer qu’il est plein et a besoin d’être vidé.
Supprimer un Bourrage
Affichage Clignotant d’Erreur
La machine détectera toutes les entrées (Le dos de reliure n’est pas dans la machine, la
taille du document n’est pas calculée, la couverture de sécurité est fermée) avant de
permettre la reliure.
Au cas où un des critères ci-dessus n’est pas satisfait, la machine n’exécutera pas la

4.6 Abridor del lomo
Para esconder las costuras del lomo de un documento
completado, deberá situar la cubierta posterior cara a
cara sobre la parte superior de la cubierta delantera antes
de insertar el documento en las secciones de “BIND”
como se indica en la ilustración superior.
Vire la última página o cubra el documento y colóquelo
arriba para asegurarse que el lado impreso de la manija
mire hacia usted como se muestra en la etiqueta.

el documento después de oír un “PITIDO”
Se podrán encuadernar documentos adicionales sin

paso si permaneciese parado durante 2 minutos. Deberá
redimensionar sus documentos para continuar.
Una vez Proclick Pronto ha medido el grosor del documento,

lomo donde usted no pueda desencuadernar el libro encuadernado

se muestra en la Presentación 1.

Para desencuadernar un libro encuadernado, sólo tiene que inserta
la cuña de la herramienta de apertura del lomo en las presillas del
lomo ProClick®y tire hacia atrás en una acción de deslizamiento.
Esto abrirá el ProClick®permitiéndole editar los documentos y
reasegurar el lomo de encuadernado de forma manual.

6.0 Resolución de problemas

Mensaje de Error Parpadeando
La máquina detectará todas las entradas (El lomo de encuadernado no se encuentra en la
máquina, no se ha medido el tamaño del documento, cubierta de seguridad cerrada) antes
de permitir el inicio del encuadernado.
Si alguno de estos no se encontrase en su lugar, la máquina no realizará el encuadernado
y la interfaz de usuario mostrará la orden correspondiente para que el usuario realice la
acción.

Comuníquese con un técnico autorizado de GBC para pedir las piezas de reemplazo.
Dé el modelo y la serie de la máquina para referencia.
Asegúrese que no hay ningún casete de papel cuando inserte el lomo.
Si el lomo de encuadernación es menor que el documento medido, la máquino no realizará
la encuadernación.
Si se muestra en el interfaz de usuario "Insert punched document into sizer", el
