1. Placea PlasticCombBindingElementbehindtheVertical
Comb(E)withtheopenportionofelementfacingyou(see
figure3).
2. RotatetheBindLeverup(E1)towardyouuntiltheComb
BindingElement(E2)openssufficientlyto insertyour
document(seefigure4).
3. Threadfront coverfinishedsidefacingdown(seefigure5),
ontoopenBindingElementFingers(E3).Threadpages,
frontfacingdown,ontoelement.Repeatfor largedocu-
mentsasrequired.Placethebackcover,finishedside
facingupwardonopenBindingElementFingerslast.
4. PushtheBindLeverawayfromyoubackto itsoriginal
positionto closethebindingelement.
5. Removebookbyliftingupward.Yourpresentationis
nowcomplete!
6. OnceyoubecomefamiliarwithyourDocuBindP400,
youwill findthatyoucanbindasyoupunch,increasing
yourproductivity.

theEdgeGuideonCovers,punchallofthecoversfor your
jobandsetaside.MovetheEdgeGuidebackto the11"
settingto punchyourcontentsthenbind.
2. Raiselidoncover(0), andpull upappropriateselector
pinsto disengagepunchpinsthatmaynicktheedgeof
yoursheet.Todeterminewhichpinsshouldbepulledup
followthepunchstepsindicatedinsection"0" usingblank
testpaper
