1. Remove one screw to detach the small metal
plate that covers the micro-SIM card socket.
2. Slide the socket cover toward the unlocked
direction ( ) and open the cover.
3. Noting the orientation, put down the micro-
SIM card on the socket.
4. Close the cover and slide it back to the
locked position ( ).
5. Replace the metal plate and secure it in
place with the screw previously removed.
Installing the Battery Pack
1. With the battery pack correctly oriented,
attach its connector side to the battery com-
partment at an angle () and then press down
the other side (). The battery release latch
should automatically engage.
2. Slide the security lock to the locked position
( ).
CAUTION: Make sure the lock is correctly locked,
not revealing the underneath red part.
Connecting to AC Power and
Starting Up
You must use AC power when starting up the
Tablet PC for the very first time.
1. Connect the AC adapter as shown below.
NOTE: The power cord type varies with countries.
2. Press the power button ( ) to start up.
3. When turning on your Tablet PC for the very
first time, you will be guided through a
setup process.
Tap the touchscreen with your finger to
communicate with the Tablet PC.

System Recovery
Using Windows RE
Windows has a recovery environment (Windows
RE) that provides recovery, repair, and trouble-
shooting tools. The tools are referred to as
Advanced Startup Options. You can access these
options by selecting Start Settings Update
& security Recovery (for Windows 10) or Start
Settings System Recovery (for Windows
11). (See Microsoft website for more information.)
NOTE: If you are in a situation where your com-
puter won’t boot into Windows, you can access
the Advanced Startup Options by running the
BIOS Setup Utility and selecting Advanced 
Windows RE.
Using Recovery Partition
When necessary, you can restore your Windows
system to the factory default state by using the
“recovery partition” feature. (Refer to the User
Manual for detailed information.)

Taking Care of the Tablet PC
Location Guidelines
•For optimal performance, use the Tablet PC
where the recommended temperature is
within 0 °C (32 °F) ∼55 °C (131 °F).
•Avoid placing the Tablet PC in a location sub-
ject to high humidity, extreme temperatures,
mechanical vibration, or heavy dust. Using in
extreme environments for long periods can
result in product deterioration and a shortened
product life.
•Operating in an environment with metallic
dust is not allowed.
•Place the Tablet PC on a flat and steady sur-
face. A strong impact by dropping or hitting
may damage the Tablet PC.
•Do not cover or block any ventilation open-
ings on the Tablet PC. For example, do not
place the Tablet PC on a bed, sofa, rug, or
other similar surface. Otherwise, overheat-
ing may occur that results in damage to the
Tablet PC.
•As the Tablet PC can become very hot during
operation, keep it away from objects that
are vulnerable to heat.
•Keep the Tablet PC at least 13 cm (5 inches)
away from electrical appliances that can ge-
nerate a strong magnetic field such as a TV,
refrigerator, motor, or a large audio speaker.
•Avoid moving the Tablet PC abruptly from a
cold to a warm place. A temperature differ-
ence of more than 10 °C (18 °F) may cause
condensation inside the unit, which may
damage the storage media.
General Guidelines
•Do not place heavy objects on top of the
Tablet PC as this may damage the display.
•Do not move the Tablet PC simply by grasping
the display screen.
•To avoid damaging the screen, do not touch
it with any sharp object.
•LCD image sticking occurs when a fixed pat-
tern is displayed on the screen for a prolonged
period of time. You can avoid the problem by
limiting the amount of static content on the
display. It is recommended that you use a
screen saver or turn off the display when it is
not in use.
•To maximize the life of the backlight in the
display, allow the backlight to automatically
turn off as a result of power management.
Cleaning Guidelines
•Never clean the Tablet PC with its power on.
•Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior
surfaces of the Tablet PC.
•Dust or grease on the touchpad can affect its
sensitivity. Clean the pad by using adhesive
tape to remove the dust and grease on its
surface.
•If water or liquid is split onto the Tablet PC,
wipe it dry and clean when possible. Do not
leave the Tablet PC wet when you can dry it.
•In case water or liquid is spilt into the key-
board, immediately turn off the Tablet PC
and unplug the AC adapter. Then turn the
keyboard upside down to drain the liquid
out of the keyboard. Make sure to clean up
any part of the spill you can get to. Though
the keyboard of your Tablet PC is spill-proof,
liquid will remain in the keyboard enclosure
if you don’t remove it.
•If the Tablet PC gets wet where the tempera-
ture is 0 °C (32 °F) or below, freeze damage
may occur. Make sure to dry the wet Tablet PC.

Battery Pack Guidelines
•To charge the battery, connect the AC adapter
to the Tablet PC and an electrical outlet. The
Battery Indicator on the Tablet PC glows amber
to indicate charging is in progress. When the
battery is fully charged, the Battery Indicator
glows green.
•Recharge the battery pack when it is nearly
discharged. When recharging, make sure that
the battery pack is fully charged. Doing so
may avoid harm to the battery pack.
•The battery pack is a consumable product and
the following conditions will shorten its life:
– when frequently charging the battery
– when using, charging, or storing the bat-
tery in high temperature condition
•To avoid hastening the deterioration of the
battery pack thereby prolonging its useful
life, minimize the number of times you charge
it so as not to frequently increase its internal
temperature.
•Charge the battery pack between 10 °C ~ 30 °C
(50 °F ~ 86 °F) temperature range. A higher
environment temperature will cause the battery
pack’s temperature to rise. Avoid charging
the battery pack inside a closed vehicle and in
hot weather condition. Also, charging will
not start if the battery pack is not within the
allowed temperature range.
•It is recommended that you do not charge
the battery pack more than once a day.
•It is recommended that you charge the battery
pack with the Tablet PC’s power off.
•To maintain the battery pack’s operating effi-
ciency when removed from the Tablet PC,
store it in a cool dark place and with 30% ~
40% charge remaining.
•Important guidelines
When installing or removing the battery pack
take note of the following:
– avoid installing or removing the battery
pack when the Tablet PC is in Sleep mode.
Abruptly removing the battery pack may
cause loss of data or the Tablet PC may
become unstable.
– avoid touching the battery pack terminals
or damage may occur, causing improper
operation to it or the Tablet PC.
The Tablet PC’s input voltage and surround-
ing temperature will directly affect the
charge and discharge time:
– charging time will be prolonged when the
Tablet PC is turned on. To shorten the
charging time, it is recommended that you
place the Tablet PC in Sleep or hibernation
mode.
– a low temperature will prolong the charg-
ing time as well as hasten the discharge
time.
•When using battery power in an extremely
low temperature environment, you may
experience shortened operating time and
incorrect battery level reading. This pheno-
menon comes from the chemical characteris-
tics of batteries. The appropriate operating
temperature for the battery is -10 °C ~ 50 °C
(14 °F ~ 122 °F).
•Do not leave the battery pack in storage for
more than six months without recharging it.
Touchscreen Guidelines
•Use the finger or the included stylus on the
display. Using a sharp or metallic object may
cause scratches and damage the display,
thereby causing errors.
•Use a soft cloth to remove dirt on the display.
The touchscreen surface has a special protec-
tive coating that prevents dirt from sticking
to it. Not using a soft cloth may cause damage
to the special protective coating on the touch-
screen surface.
•Turn off the Tablet PC power when cleaning
the display. Cleaning with the power on may
cause improper operation.
•Do not use excessive force on the display.
Avoid placing objects on top of the display as
this may cause the glass to break thereby
damaging the display.
•In low and high temperatures (below 5 oC /
41 °F and above 60 oC / 140 °F), the touch-
screen may have a slower response time or
register the touch in the wrong location. It
will go back to normal after returning to
room temperature.
•When there is a noticeable discrepancy in
the placement of the stylus on the screen
and the indicated position of the onscreen
pointer, use the calibration utility to reca-
librate the touchscreen display.
Safety Notices
About the Battery
If the battery is mishandled, it may cause fire,
smoke or an explosion and the battery’s func-
tionality will be seriously damaged. The safety
instructions listed below must be followed.
Danger
•Do not immerse the battery with liquid such
as water, sea water or soda.
•Do not charge/discharge or place the battery
in high-temperature (more than 80 °C / 176 °F)

locations, such as near a fire, heater, in a car
in direct sunlight, etc.
•Do not use unauthorized chargers.
•Do not force a reverse-charge or a reverse-
connection.
•Do not connect the battery with AC plug
(outlet) or car plugs.
•Do not adapt the battery to unspecified
applications.
•Do not short circuit the battery.
•Do not drop or subject the battery to impacts.
•Do not penetrate with a nail or strike with a
hammer.
•Do not directly solder the battery.
•Do not disassemble the battery.
•Keep the battery away from an extremely low
air pressure environment as it may result in
an explosion or the leakage of flammable
liquid or gas.
Warning
•Keep the battery away from infants.
•Stop using the battery if there are noticeable
abnormalities such as abnormal smell, heat,
deformities, or discoloration.
•Stop charging if the charging process cannot
be finished.
•In case of a leaking battery, keep the battery
away from flames and do not touch it.
•Pack the battery tightly during transport.
Caution
•Do not use the battery where static electricity
(more than 100V) exists that might damage
the protection circuit of the battery.
•When children are using the system, parents
or adults must ensure that they are using the
system and battery correctly.
•Keep the battery away from flammable ma-
terials during charging and discharging.
•In case lead wires or metal objects come out
from the battery, you must seal and insulate
them completely.
Caution Texts Concerning Lithium
Batteries
ATTENTION: Danger of explosion if battery is
incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same
or equivalent type recommended by the equip-
ment manufacturer. Discard used batteries
according to manufacturer‘s instructions.
About the AC Adapter
•Use only the AC adapter supplied with your
Tablet PC. Use of another type of AC adapter
will result in malfunction and/or danger.
•If a ground/earth pin attachment plug on
the AC power cord is provided, always plug
the cord into a grounded/earthed outlet. Do
not disable ground/earth pin of the
plug/cord.
•Do not use the adapter in a high moisture
environment. Never touch the adapter when
your hands or feet are wet.
•Allow adequate ventilation around the
adapter when using it to operate the device
or charge the battery. Do not cover the AC
adapter with paper or other objects that will
reduce cooling. Do not use the AC adapter
while it is inside a carrying case.
•Connect the adapter to a proper power
source. The voltage requirements are found
on the product case and/or packaging.
•Do not use the adapter if the cord becomes
damaged.
•Do not attempt to service the unit. There are
no serviceable parts inside. Replace the unit
if it is damaged or exposed to excess
moisture.
Heat Related Concerns
Your device may become very warm during
normal use. It complies with the user-accessible
surface temperature limits defined by the Inter-
national Standards for Safety. Still, sustained
contact with warm surfaces for long periods of
time may cause discomfort or injury. To reduce
potential heat-related concerns, follow these
guidelines:
•Keep your device and its AC adapter in a well-
ventilated area when in use or charging.
Allow for adequate air circulation under and
around the device.
•Use common sense to avoid situations where
your skin is in contact with your device or its
AC adapter when it’s operating or connected
to a power source. For example, don’t sleep
with your device or its AC adapter, or place it
under a blanket or pillow, and avoid con-tact
between your body and your device when the
AC adapter is connected to a power source.
Take special care if you have a phys-ical
condition that affects your ability to detect
heat against the body.
•If your device is used for long periods, its
surface can become very warm. While the
temperature may not feel hot to the touch,
if you maintain physical contact with the

device for a long time, for example if you
rest the device on your lap, your skin might
suffer a low-heat injury.
•If your device is on your lap and gets uncom-
fortably warm, remove it from your lap and
place it on a stable work surface.
•Never place your device or AC adapter on
furniture or any other surface that might be
marred by exposure to heat since the base of
your device and the surface of the AC
adapter may increase in temperature during
normal use.

1. Entfernen Sie eine Schraube, um die kleine

öffnen Sie die Abdeckung.

Sie sie wieder in die Sperrposition ( ).
5. Bringen Sie die Metallplatte wieder an und
befestigen Sie sie mit der zuvor entfernten
Schraube.
Installieren des Akkus
1. Richten Sie den Akku korrekt aus, bringen
Sie seine Anschlussseite angewinkelt am
Akkufach an () und drücken Sie dann die
andere Seite nach unten (). Der Freigabe-
riegel sollte automatisch einrasten.
2. Schieben Sie die Sicherheitsverriegelung in
die verriegelte Position ( ).
ACHTUNG: Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verriege-
lung fest geschlossen ist, so dass der untere rote
Teil nicht zu erkennen ist.
Netzkabel anschließen und
Computer einschalten
Sie müssen den Computer bei erstmaliger
Inbetriebnahme mit Netzstrom versorgen.
1. Schließen Sie das Netzteil wie nachstehend

Windows RE verwenden
Windows hat eine Wiederherstellungsumgebung
(Windows RE), die Wiederherstellungs-, Reparatur-
und Problemlösungs-tools bietet. Die Tools werden
als „Erweiterte Startoptionen“ bezeichnet. Sie
können auf diese Optionen zugreifen, indem Sie

Umgang mit dem Computer
Richtlinien zum Aufstellungsort
•Arbeiten Sie mit dem Computer bei Tempera-
turen zwischen 0 °C (32 °F) und 55 °C (131 °F).
(Tatsächliche Betriebstemperatur je nach Pro-
duktspezifikationen.)
•Stellen Sie den Computer nicht dort auf, wo
er hoher Luftfeuchte, extremen Tempera-
turen, mechanischen Erschütterungen oder
massivem Staub ausgesetzt ist. Wenn Sie den
Computer längere Zeit in extremen Umge-
bungen einsetzen, können sich das Produkt
verziehen und die Lebensdauer verkürzen.
•Der Einsatz in einer Umgebung mit Metall-
staub ist nicht erlaubt.
•Platzieren Sie den Computer auf einem flachen,
stabilen Untergrund. Starke Erschütterungen
durch Herunterfallen oder Stöße können den
Computer beschädigen.
•Entlüftungsöffnungen im Computer dürfen
nicht abgedeckt oder zugestellt werden. Stel-
len Sie den Computer z.B. nicht auf ein Bett,
ein Sofa, einen Teppich oder auf ähnliche
Flächen. Andernfalls könnte sich der Computer
überhitzen und Schaden nehmen.
•Halten Sie den Computer von wärmeempfind-
lichen Gegenständen fern, da er während des
Betriebs sehr heiß werden kann.
•Stellen Sie den Computer mindestens 13 cm
(5 Zoll) entfernt von Elektrogeräten auf, die
starke Magnetfelder erzeugen können, z.B.
Fernsehapparat, Kühlschrank, Motor oder
große Lautsprecher.
•Transportieren Sie den Computer nicht plötz-
lich von einem kalten zu einem warmen Ort.
Bei einem Temperaturunterschied von über
10 °C (18 °F) bildet sich Kondenswasser im
Innern des Computer, was die Speichermedien
beschädigen könnte.
Allgemeine Richtlinien
•Stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf
den geschlossenen Computer, da hierdurch
der LCD-Bildschirm beschädigt werden könnte.
•Berühren Sie den Bildschirm nicht mit einem
scharfkantigen Gegenstand, um ihn nicht zu
beschädigen.
•Eingebrannte LCD-Bilder erscheinen, wenn
ein festes Muster längere Zeit am Bildschirm
angezeigt wird. Sie können das Problem ver-
meiden, indem Sie die Menge statischer In-
halte am Display reduzieren. Wir empfehlen,
bei Nichtbenutzung einen Bildschirmschoner
einzusetzen und das Display aufzuschalten.
•Um die Lebenszeit des Hintergrundlichts der
Anzeige zu verlängern, nehmen Sie Einstel-
lungen vor, die das Hintergrundlicht auf
Grund von Energieverwaltung automatisch
abschaltet.
Richtlinien zum Reinigen
•Reinigen Sie den Computer nie, wenn er
eingeschaltet ist.
•Wischen Sie den Computer von außen mit
einem weichen Tuch ab, das mit Wasser oder
einem alkalifreien Reinigungsmittel befeuch-
tet ist.
•Staub oder Fett auf dem Touchpad beein-
trächtigt seine Empfindlichkeit. Entfernen
Sie Staub oder Fett auf der Oberfläche des
Touchpads mit einem Klebstreifen.
•Falls Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten über
dem Computer verschüttet werden, wischen
Sie ihn nach Möglichkeit trocken und sauber.

•Wenn der Computer in Umgebungen mit einer
Temperatur von 0 °C (32 °F) oder weniger
feucht wird, können durch Gefrierung Schäden
entstehen. Achten Sie darauf, den Computer
zu trocknen, falls er feucht ist.
Richtlinien für den Akku
•Um den Akku aufzuladen, schließen Sie das
Netzteil an den Computer und eine Netzsteck-
dose an. Die Akkuladeanzeige am Computer
leuchtet gelb, um den Ladevorgang anzuzei-
gen. Wenn der Akku voll aufgeladen ist, die
Akkuladeanzeige leuchtet grün.
•Laden Sie den Akku auf, wenn er fast leer ist.
Achten Sie beim Aufladen darauf, dass der
Akku ganz aufgeladen wird. Auf diese Weise
vermeiden Sie eine Beschädigung des Akkus.
•Der Akku ist ein Verbrauchsartikel und fol-
gende Umstände verkürzen seine Lebenszeit:
– bei häufigem Aufladen des Akkus.
– Verwenden, Laden oder Lagern des Akkus
bei hohen Temperaturen.
•Um eine Verschlechterung des Akkus zu ver-
meiden und dadurch seine Nutzungszeit zu
verlängern, halten Sie die Anzahl der Aufla-
dungen auf ein Minimum, damit sich seine
interne Temperatur nicht zu oft erhöht.
•Laden Sie den Akku bei Temperaturen zwi-
schen 10 °C ~ 30 °C (50 °F ~ 86°F). Eine höhere
Umgebungstemperatur führt zu einem Anstieg
der Akkutemperatur. Vermeiden Sie das Auf-
laden des Akkus in einem geschlossenen Fahr-
zeug und bei heißem Wetter. Zudem startet
der Ladevorgang nicht, wenn der Akku nicht
innerhalb des zugelassenen Temperaturbe-
reichs ist.
•Es wird empfohlen, den Akku nicht mehr als
einmal pro Tag aufzuladen.
•Es wird empfohlen, den Akku bei ausgeschal-
tetem Computer zu laden.
•Um die Betriebsleistung des Akkus beizubehal-
ten, lagern Sie ihn außerhalb des Computers
an einem kühlen Ort und bei einer Restladung
von 30% ~ 40%.
•Wichtige Richtlinien für den Umgang mit dem
Akku.
Beim Installieren oder Entnehmen des
Akkus müssen Sie Folgendes beachten:
– Vermeiden Sie die Installation oder Entnahme
des Akkus, wenn sich der Computer im Schlaf-
modus befindet. Plötzliches Herausnehmen
des Akkus kann einen Datenverlust verursa-
chen oder der Computer könnte instabil
werden.
– Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit den anschlüs-
sen, denn der Akku könnte beschädigt wer-
den, was Betriebsstörungen des Akkus oder
des Computers verursachen könnte.
Die Eingangsspannung und die Umgebungstem-
peratur des Computers haben einen direkten
Einfluss auf die Lade- und Entladezeit des Akkus:
– Die Ladezeit verlängert sich bei eingeschal-
tetem Computer. Zur Verkürzung der Lade-
zeit ist es empfehlenswert, den Computer
in den Schlafoder Ruhemodus zu versetzen.
– Eine niedrige Temperatur verlängert auch
die Ladezeit und beschleunigt das Entladen.
•Wenn Sie das Gerät an extrem kalten Orten im
Akkubtrieb nutzen, verkürzt sich möglicher-
weise die Laufzeit und die Akkukapazität wird
falsch angezeigt. Dieses Phänomen wird durch
die chemischen Eigenschaften von Akkus verur-
sacht. Die geeignete Betriebstemperatur des
Akkus beträgt -10 °C ～50 °C (14 °F ～122 °F).
•Lagern Sie den Akku nicht länger als 6 Monate,
ohne ihn aufzuladen.
Touchscreen-Richtlinien
•Verwenden Sie den Finger oder dem Stylus
auf dem Display. Wird anstelle Ihres Fingers
oder Stylus ein scharfkantiger oder metal-
lener Gegenstand verwendet, kann dieser
das Display verkratzen und beschädigen,
wodurch Fehler entstehen.
•Wischen Sie Schmutz auf dem Display mit
einem weichen Tuch weg. Die Touchscreen-
Oberfläche besitzt eine spezielle Beschich-
tung, die verhindert, dass Schmutz auf ihr
haften bleibt. Wenn Sie kein weiches Tuch
verwenden, könnte die spezielle Beschich-
tung der Touchscreen-Oberfläche beschä-
digt werden.
•Schalten Sie den Computer aus, wenn Sie das
Display reinigen. Reinigen Sie das Display bei
eingeschaltetem Computer, könnten Betriebs-
störungen entstehen.
•Bringen Sie nicht übermäßig viel Kraft auf
dem Display auf. Vermeiden Sie es, den
Computer zu verschieben und ihn dabei am
Display zu halten oder das Display zu verdre-
hen. Vermeiden Sie es, Gegenstände auf das
Display zu stellen, denn dabei könnte das
Glas zerbrechen und das Display beschädigt
werden.
•Bei niedrigen und hohen Temperaturen (unter
5 oC / 41 °F und über 60 oC / 140 °F) reagiert
der Touchscreen möglicherweise langsamer
oder die Berührung wird an der falschen Posi-
tion registriert. Sobald wieder normale Raum-
temperaturen erreicht werden, verschwindet
dieses Problem.
•Wenn zwischen der Druckposition des Einga-
bestift auf dem Display und der angezeigten
Position des Displaycursors eine nennenswerte
Abweichung besteht, verwenden Sie zur erneu-
ten Kalibrierung des Touchscreen-Bildschirms
das Kalibrierungsprogramm.

Sicherheitshinweise
Über den Akku
Eine falsche Handhabung des Akkus kann zu
Brand, Rauchentwicklung oder einer Explosion
führen und der Akku könnte ernsthaft beschädigt
werden. Die nachstehend aufgelisteten Sicherheits-
hinweise müssen befolgt werden.
Gefahr
•Tauchen Sie den Akku nicht in Flüssigkeiten,
wie Wasser, Meerwasser oder Erfrischungs-
getränke.
•Sie dürfen den Akku nicht an Orten mit hohen
Temperaturen (mehr als 80 °C / 176 °F), bspw.
in der Nähe von Feuer, Heizungen, in einem
im direkten Sonnenlicht geparkten Auto usw.)
aufladen/entladen oder platzieren.
•Verwenden Sie keine nicht autorisierten
Ladegeräte.
•Erzwingen Sie keine Verpolung bei Aufla-
dung oder Verbindung.
•Verbinden Sie den Akku nicht mit einem
Netzstecker (Steckdose) oder Fahrzeugan-
schlüssen.
•Passen Sie den Akku nicht an nicht angege-
bene Anwendungen an.
•Schließen Sie den Akku nicht kurz.
•Lassen Sie den Akku nicht fallen, setzen Sie
ihn keinen Erschütterungen aus.
•Durchstechen Sie den Akku nicht mit einem
Nagel, schlagen Sie nicht mit einem Hammer
darauf.
•Löten Sie den Akku nicht direkt.
•Demontieren Sie den Akku nicht.
•Halten Sie den Akku von Orten mit extrem
geringem Luftdruck fern, da er andernfalls
explodieren oder brennbare Flüssigkeiten
oder Gase absondern könnte.
Warnung
•Halten Sie den Akku von Kleinkindern fern.
•Verwenden Sie den Akku nicht länger, falls
Sie Anomalien, wie einen ungewöhnlichen
Geruch, Hitze, Verformungen oder Verfär-
bungen, feststellen.
•Stoppen Sie die Aufladung, falls der Ladevor-
gang nicht abgeschlossen werden kann.
•Halten Sie einen auslaufenden Akku von
offenen Flammen fern und berühren Sie ihn
nicht.
•Verpacken Sie den Akku während des Trans-
ports sicher.
Achtung
•Verwenden Sie den Akku nicht an Orten mit
statischer Elektrizität (mehr als 100 V); andern-
falls könnte der Schutzschaltkreis des Akkus
beschädigt werden.
•Wenn Kinder das System nutzen, müssen
Eltern oder Erwachsene sicherstellen, dass sie
das System und den Akku richtig benutzen.
•Halten Sie den Akku während des Auf- und
Entladens von entflammbaren Materialien
fern.
•Falls Drähte oder Metallgegenstände aus dem
Akku herausragen, müssen Sie diese vollständig
abdichten und isolieren.
Vorsichtshinweise bezüglich Lithium-Akkus
VORSICHT: Explosionsgefahr bei unsachgemäßem
Austausch der Batterie. Ersatz nur durch densel-
ben oder einen vom Hersteller empfohlenen
gleichwertigen Typ. Entsorgung gebrauchter
Batterien nach Angaben des Herstellers.
Über das Netzteil
•Verwenden Sie nur das Ihrem Computer
mitgelieferte Netzteil. Beim Anschluss eines
andersartigen Netzteils sind Betriebsstörun-
gen und/oder Gefahren die Folge.
•Falls ein Schutz-/Erdungskontakt am Stecker
des Netzkabels angebracht ist, schließen Sie
das Kabel immer an eine geerdete Steckdose
an. Setzen Sie den Schutz-/Erdungskontakt
der Steckers/Kabels nicht außer Kraft.
•Verwenden Sie das Netzteil nicht in einer
Umgebung mit hoher Luftfeuchte. Kommen
Sie nicht mit dem Netzteil in Kontakt, wenn
Ihre Hände oder Füße nass sind.
•Achten Sie auf eine ausreichende Belüftung
um das Netzteil, wenn Sie mit ihm das Gerät
mit Strom versorgen oder den Akku aufladen.
Decken Sie das Netzteil nicht mit Papier oder
anderen Gegenständen ab, da hierdurch der
Kühleffekt gemindert wird. Verwenden Sie
nicht das Netzteil, wenn es sich in einer Trage-
tasche befindet.
•Schließen Sie das Netzteil an die richtige
Stromquelle an. Angaben zur erforderlichen
Spannung finden Sie auf dem Produktge-
häuse und/oder auf dem Produktkarton.
•Verwenden Sie das Netzteil nicht, wenn seine
Netzleitung beschädigt ist.
•Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät zu reparieren.
Es gibt keine wartbaren Teile im Innern.
Ersetzen Sie das Gerät, wenn es beschädigt
ist oder zu viel Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt war.

Wärmebezogene Probleme
Ihr Gerät wird während der normalen Benutzung
sehr warm. Es stimmt mit den Temperaturgrenz-
werten für vom Nutzer zugängliche Flächen ge-
mäß internationalen Sicherheitsstandards überein.
Dennoch kann ein längerer Kontakt mit warmen
Flächen unangenehm sein oder sogar zu Verlet-
zungen führen. Befolgen Sie zur Reduzierung
möglicher wärmebezogener Probleme diese
Richtlinien:
•Bewahren Sie Ihr Gerät und sein Netzteil bei
Benutzung oder Aufladung an einem gut
belüfteten Ort auf. Berücksichtigen Sie eine
angemessene Luftzirkulation unter dem und
rund um das Gerät.
•Vermeiden Sie nach gesundem Menschen-
verstand Situationen, in denen Ihre Haut das
Gerät oder sein Netzteil berührt, während es
in Betrieb oder an eine Stromquelle ange-
schlossen ist. Nehmen Sie das Gerät oder sein
Netzteil beispielsweise nicht mit ins Bett,
legen Sie es nicht unter eine Decke oder ein
Kissen und vermeiden Sie Kontakt zwischen
Ihrem Körper und dem Gerät, wenn das
Netzteil an eine Stromquelle angeschlossen
ist. Seien Sie besonders vorsichtig, wenn Sie
eine Krankheit haben, die Ihre Fähigkeit
beeinträchtigt, Hitze am Körper zu spüren.
•Wenn Ihr Gerät lange Zeit benutzt wird,
kann seine Oberfläche sehr warm werden.
Selbst wenn sich das Gerät nicht heiß anfühlt,
kann Ihre Haut geringfügig verletzt werden,
wenn Sie das Gerät lange Zeit berührt, bspw.
weil Sie das Gerät auf Ihrem Schoß haben.
•Falls Ihr Gerät auf Ihrem Schoß ist und unan-
genehm warm wird, sollten Sie es von Ihrem
Schoß nehmen und auf einem stabilen Unter-
grund stellen.
•Stellen Sie Ihr Gerät oder das Netzteil niemals
auf Möbel oder andere Flächen, die hitzeemp-
findlich sind, da die Unterseite Ihres Geräts
und die Oberfläche des Netzteils während
des normalen Betriebs warm werden.

Instalar la tarjeta micro-SIM (opción)
1. Quite un tornillo para retirar la placa metálica
pequeña que cubre la toma para tarjetas micro-
SIM.
2. Deslice la tapa de la toma a la posición de
desbloqueo ( ) y abra dicha tapa.
3. Teniendo en cuenta la orientación, coloque la
tarjeta micro-SIM en la toma.
4. Cierre la tapa y deslícela para volverla a
colocar en la posición de bloqueo ( ).
5. Vuelva a colocar la placa metálica en su lugar
y asegúrela con el tornillo que retiró anterior-
mente.
Instalar la batería
1. Con la batería correctamente orientada,
acople el lado del conector en el comparti-
mento de la batería formando un pequeño
ángulo () y, a continuación, presione el
otro lateral (). El pestillo de liberación de
la batería debería activarse automaticmente.
2. Desplace el cierre de seguridad hacia la posición
de bloqueo ( ).
PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese de que el cierre de
seguridad esté correctamente colocado y que
no se vea la parte roja que hay debajo del
mismo.
Conectar a la alimentación de CA y
encender el equipo
Debe utilizar la alimentación de CA cuando
inicie el equipo por primera vez.
