Using the T800 Second Battery Pack
Charging the Battery Pack
This second battery pack is a snap-on module to provide T800 with
extra battery power.
To charge the battery pack, connect the AC adapter. The Battery
Charge Indicator ( ) glows amber to indicate that charging is in
progress. It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the battery
pack. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator glows green.
NOTE:
For proper operation, make sure T800 is NOT connected to AC
power whenever you try to attach or detach the second battery
pack.
After you attach the second battery pack and connect AC power
to T800, the main battery will be charged first and then the
second battery.
Connecting the Battery Pack
1. Align the module with the back of T800, engage the module’s
bottom tab first and then snap the top tab into place.

2. Firmly press the connector area to ensure the connection. The
module has an icon indicating where to press.
3. Tighten four screws.
4. When connected, the second battery will be discharged first
and then the main battery.
Checking the Battery Level
NOTE: If the operating system does not seem to recognize the
second battery pack, try disconnecting and reconnecting it.
After connection, the operating system’s battery meter should
show the second battery information.
The battery pack itself has an
LED indicator for displaying the
estimated battery charge. You
can press the button to see
the number of segments that
light green. Each segment
represents approximately 20%
charge.
