AQ-V-3M 5
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Goodway AQ-V-3M duct vacuums are designed to pull loose debris out of the air
system to which they are connected and lter out harmful debris such as pollen,
dust, and mold spores with its 3 stage HEPA lter system.
Following are the steps necessary to operate the AQ-V-3M unit. Refer to the
maintenance section of this manual for the daily and pre-start maintenance check.
To test the AQ-V-3M, be sure all lters are in place and the top is closed and latched
in place, and the switch is in the off position. Connect the 12 gauge x 50 foot power
cord to an outlet. Once the power cord is properly connected, turn on the main
power switch.
Running new, the machine will most likely be running at 15 amps. To prevent
overheating, the AQ-V-3M will need to run between 12-13 amps. To do this, the
hose will need to be connected and the lters will need to have started
collecting dust.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
The Filter Bag:
The lter bag should be cleaned after every duct cleaning job. To clean the lter
bag, remove it from the vacuum, empty the large debris into a proper waste
container, and then blow out the remainder of the debris or wash the lter bag.
Make sure there is no one else in the area if blowing out the remaining dust.
The Biostatic Wrap:
The lter bag should be cleaned after every duct cleaning job. To clean the biostatic
wrap, remove it from the vacuum, empty the large debris into a proper waste
container, and then blow out the remainder of the debris or wash the lter bag.
Make sure there is no one else in the area if blowing out the remaining dust.
The Main Cartridge Filter:
The main cartridge lter should be cleaned after every 2-3 duct cleaning jobs. To
clean the main lter cartridge, remove it from the vacuum, turn it upside down
over a proper waste container, and blow air through it from the inside out. Before
replacing, clean the inside of the housing that holds the lter.
