The lid has a safety lock pin. The cooker will not start unl the
lid is closed and locked in place.
Once the correct pressure is reached, the mer will start
counng down. The pressure will fluctuate throughout the
cooking cycle.
Pressure Reading LED Display shows the amount of pressure
that is being used in psi (Pounds per Square Inch: unit used to
measure pressure) units and also shows when the pressure is
being released.
Regulator knob is used to release pressure instantly.
The cool touch handles are for transporng the cooker properly.

BEFOREFIRST
USE
Removeanypackingmaterialsandlabelsfromyourelectric
pressurecooker.Besuretoremovecookpotandcheckforparts.
Besurethatalloftheproductspartsareincludedbeforeyou
disposeofthepackingmaterials.However,youmaywanttostore
theboxandpackingmaterialtouseatalatertime.
BeforeyouuseyourGoWISEUSA®ElectricPressurecookerforthe
firsttime,wipethecookercleanwithadampcloth.Cleanthelid
andthecookingpot.Thecookingpotcanbecleanedwithwarm
soapywater.Donotputthecookingpotinthedishwasher.Rinse
withcleanwater,towelorletthepotairdry,andplaceitintothe
pressurecooker.
Thesealingringmayalreadybeinstalledonthelid,ifnot,make
surethatthesealingringisinstalledproperlyonthelidasshown
below:

PRESSURE COOKER
SETTINGS
There are 12 sengs that you canuse onthis pressure cooker. All
sengs have preset mes. You canchoose one of the preset mes
or if you want something in between the preset mes, you are able
to change mes by pressing the “Pressure Time +” or “Pressure
Time -” buon repeatedly to the desired me. You canalso adjust
the pressure level and temperature (depending onthe cooking
opon) by pressing the "Adjust" buon. This pressure cooker comes
with the following cooking opons and mes:
Rice:5,8,10 minutes (Adjust Pressure)
Mulgrain:20,40 minutes,1 hour (Adjust Pressure)
Porridge:15,20,30 minutes (Adjust Pressure)
Meat/Stew:20,35,45 minutes (Adjust Pressure)
Steam: 1,3,5 minutes (Adjust Pressure)
Bean/Chili:25,30,45 minutes (Adjust Pressure)
Yogurt:8,24 hours (Adjust Temperature)
Soup:20,30,40 minutes (Adjust Pressure)
Poultry:5,15,30 minutes (Adjust Pressure)
Sauté:30 (no pressure,Adjust temperature)

Youareabletochooseoneofthepresettimesbypressingthe
buttonofthecookingoptionofyourchoicerepeatedly.Forexample,
youwanttouseoneofthe“Rice”presetcookingtimes,ifyoupress
onthe“Rice”,thepresetcookingtimeof8minuteswillshowupon
thecookingtimedisplay.Ifyouactuallywant10minutes,youcan
pressthe“Rice”buttonuntilyougetto10minutes(itwillcycle
throughthepresettimes).
Orifyouwantsomethinginbetween8and10minutes,like9
minutes,youcanpresson“Rice”andoneofthepresetcooking
timeswillshowuponthecookingtimedisplaythenpressonthe
“PressureTime+”or“PressureTime‐”repeatedlyuntilyougetto9
minutes.Afteryouhavesetatime,youareabletoadjustthe
pressurelevelbetween“Low”and“High”bypressingthe“Adjust”
buttonandthesettingofeither“Low”or“High”willlightup.Low
Pressureisarangefrom2.9‐7.2psiandHighpressureisarange
from7.2‐13psi.
NOTE:Thecookingoption“Sauté”doesnotusepressureanddoes
notrequirethelid;however,whenusingthisoption,youmustbe
presenttowatchoverthefoodthatisbeingcookedtopreventit
fromburning.

HowToUseYourPressureCooker
Whenallthepartsareassembledproperly,youarereadytostart
cookingwithyourpressurecooker.
1. Toremovethelid,graspthetophandleandturnclockwiseandlift.
2. Takethecookingpotfromthepressurecookerandaddfoodand
liquids.
NOTE:Donotfillmorethan60%ofthecapacityofthecooking
pot.Forfoodthatexpands,suchasdriedvegetablesandbeans,
youmustnotexceed50%ofthecapacityofthepot.When
cookingwithpressure,youmustalwaysuseatleast½cupof
water.
3. Putthecookingpotbackintothecookerandplacethelidon
thecookerliningitupwiththecondensationcup.Tolockthe
lidinplace,placethelidonthecookerandturnit
counterclockwise,whichwilllinethelidupwiththehandle.
NOTE:Whenopeningandclosingthelid,thereisalockingpin
onthesideofthelidthatgoesoutwhenyouareopeningthelid
andgoesbackintothelidtoindicatethatthelidisclosedand
locked.
4. Theregulatorknobhastwodotslabeled“Steam”and
“Pressure”.Youcanusethesetwodotsasguidelinesfor
positioningtheknob.
5. Plugthepressurecookerintothewalloutlet.ThetwoLED
displayswillshow.‐‐‐‐Youcanuseoneofthepresetcooking
optionsorsetthecookingtimeyourself.Forexample,you
decidetosetatimeyourself,youcansetthetimebypressingon
the“PressureTime+”buttonrepeatedly
(or
holddownfor
faster
timechange)
untilyoufindthetimeyouwant.Afteryouhaveset
atime,quicklypressthe“Adjust”buttontosetittoeithera

6. Onceyouhaveadjustedthepressure,thecookerwillautomatically
startafter4seconds.
7. Pleasenotethatthetimerdoesnotstartuntilthereisenough
heatandpressureiswithintherangeofthechosenpressurelevel.
Duringthepressurecookingprocess,thecookershouldbefairly
silent,however,ifthecookerisabitnoisyandreleasingalotof
steam,carefullyadjusttheknobineitherdirectionuntilthe
steamandnoisereduces.Throughoutthecookcycle,the
pressurewillfluctuateandyouwillseethe"Heating"lightgoon
andoff.
8. Whenthecookerisdone,itwillbeepagain.DONOTREMOVE
THELID.Thereisstillpressurebeingusedinsidethecooker.You
caneitherwaitforthecookertoslowlyreleasethepressureon
itsown,itwillshowontheLEDdisplayandbeepwhenallthe
pressurehasbeenreleased,oryoucanreleasethepressure
immediatelybyturningtheregulatorknobonthelid.
NOTE:Whenturningtheregulatorknobtoreleasepressure,
keephandsandfaceasfarfromtheknobaspossibletoprevent
injuryorscaldingfromthesteamthatwillbereleasedfromthe
topoftheknob.

Thissettingallowsyoutobegincookingfoodupto24hourslaterin
halfhourincrements.Youcanusethissettingwithanyofthe
cookingoptionsprovided.
NOTE:Perishablefoods,suchasmeats,poultry,fish,cheese,and
dairyproductscannotbeleftatroomtemperatureformorethan
twohours,nolongerthanonehourwhenthetemperatureofthe
roomisabove90°F.Besuretosetthedelaytimertonomorethan2
hours.
1. Removethecookingpotandfillitwithfoodsandliquidsthen
putthecookingpotbackintothecooker.
2. Chooseacookingoptionandsetthetime.
3. Onceyouhavesetthecookingtime,immediatelypressthe
“DelayTimer”buttonuntilyoureachthedesiredtime.Thistime
willshowonthebottomdisplay.Itwillcomeinhalf‐hour
increments.
NOTE:Besuretoimmediatelypressthe“DelayTimer”buttonright
afteryouhavesetacookingtimebecausethecookerwill
automaticallystartafter4seconds.

Slow
Cooking
1. Removethelidandcookingpot.Fillthecookingpotwithfoods
andliquidsthenputthecookingpotbackintothecookerand
replacethelid.Settheregulatorknobto“Steam”.
2. Pressthe“SlowCook”buttonand30minuteswillappearonthe
timerdisplay.Toaddmoretime,quicklypressthe“Pressure
Time+”button,itwilladdmoretimeinhalfhourincrements.
Youcanslowcookupto20hours.
3. Onceyouhavesetatime,quicklypressthe“Adjust”buttonto
setthetemperaturetoeitherofthe3levels:“Low”,“Mid”,and
“High”.Thecookerwillautomaticallystartafter4seconds.The
“Heating”lightwillbeon.
4.
Itwilltakeatleast5minutesforthecookertoreachtheset
temperature.Pleasenotethatthetimerwillnotstartcounting
downuntilthecookerhasreachedthesettemperature.
Sauté
1. Removethecookingpotandfillitwithfoodthenputthe
cookingpotbackintothecooker.
2. Press“Sauté”andleavethelidoff.ThecookingtimeforSautéis
30minutes.Youcanalwayspressthe“Warm/Cancel”buttonto
stopthecookingprocess.
NOTE:Donotleavethepressurecookerunattendedwhile
BrowningorSautéing.

Steam
Thiscookingoptionisforcookingstarchyvegetables,suchascorn,
potatoes,yams,etc.Itisnotrecommendedfornonstarchy
vegetables,suchasbroccoli,asparagus,tomatoes,etc.
1. Removethecookingpotandfillitwithliquid,nohigherthan
thesteamrack.
2. Placethesteamrackoraheat‐resistantbasket(notincluded)in
thebottomofthecookingpot.
3. Turntheregulatorknobto“Pressure”.
4. Pressonthebuttonlabeled“STEAM”.Youhavethechoiceof1,
3,and5minutes.
NOTE:Whenusingthesteamrack,besuretousepotholdersto
removeeitherthepotorrackbecauseitwillbehotaftercooking.
Ifyouarehaveanyquestionsregardingyourpressurecooker,

Yogurt
1. Fillthepotorjarswithmilk.
2. Ifyouarenotusingjars,replacethelidonthepressurecooker
andpress“Yogurt”.Quicklypress“Adjust”untilyouseethe
word“Boil”ononeoftheLEDscreens.Ifyouareusingjars,fill
thepotwithalittlebitofwaterandplacethesteamrackinthe
pot,thenplacethejarsontherack.Pressthe“STEAM”button
andsetittothepresettimeofone(1)minute.Settheregulator
knobto“Pressure”.
3. Oncethepressurecookerisdoneeitherboilingorsteamingthe
milk.Removethepotorjarsfromthecookerandwaitforthe
milktocooldownto115°F.Afterthemilkhascooleddown,

addyouryogurtoryogurtstartertothemilkandstiruntilthere
arenochunks.
4. Placethepotbackintothecookerorjarsbackonthesteam
rackandreplacethelid.Settheknobto“STEAM”andpressthe
“Yogurt”button.QuicklypressAdjusttochangethe
temperaturetoeither8hoursor24hours.Thecookerwill
automaticallystartafter4seconds.
EggMaker
1. Takeoutthecookingpotandinserttheeggrackthatisprovided.
2. Werecommendthatyouuseatleast1/2cupofwaterand
you’rewelcometoaddmore.However,pleasenotethatitis
notadvisedtofillitabovetherackheight.
3. Putthecookingpotbackintothecookerandreplacethelid.
4. Adjusttheknobtothe“Pressure”settingandpressthe“Egg
Maker”button.Apresettimeof1,3,or5minuteswillcomeup.
Usetheguidelinesbelowtodeterminetheamountoftimeand
whichpressureleveltousefordifferenttypesofeggs.
NOTE:Whenusingtheeggrack,besuretousepotholdersto
removeeitherthepotorrackbecauseitwillbehotaftercooking.

Pullouttheregulatorknobtocleanit.
Cleanthespaceofanyfoodorforeignparticlesthatmaybeinthere.
Replacetheregulatorknobbyliningeitherdotontheknobwith
thedotonthehousingandfirmlypushdown.
SealingRingCleaningInstructions:
Removethesealingringandcleanwithwarmsoapywater.Be
suretodrythesealingringbeforeplacingitbackintothelid.
