Suggested arrangement of the food
in the appliance
Guidelines for obtaining optimum storage:
1. The fridge compartment is for the short-
term storage of fresh food and drinks.
2. The freezer compartment is
rated and suitable for the freezing and
storage of pre-frozen food.
The recommendation for storage as
stated on the food packaging should be
observed at all times.
3. Dairy products should be stored in the
coldest places in the fridge compartment.
4. Cooked dishes should be stored in airtight
containers.
5. Fresh wrapped produce can be kept on
the shelves
. Fresh fruit and vegetables should
be stored in the vegetable drawers.
6. Bottles can be kept in the door shelves or
on the bottle shelf.
7. To store fresh meat, wrap it in polythene
bags and place it in the coldest place in the
fridge compartment. Don’t let meat juice from
fresh meat come into contact with other types
of food. For safety, only store fresh meat for
two to three days.
8. For maximum efficiency the removable
shelves should not be covered with paper or other
materials to allow free circulation of cool air.
9. Do not keep vegetable oil on the door
shelves. Keep the food packed, wrapped or
covered. Leftover canned food should not be
stored in the can.
10. To take out the drawers from the freezer
compartment please proceed as in Fig. 9.
Temperature control and adjustment
Operating temperatures are controlled by the
thermostat control (Fig. 5) located on the
ceiling of the fridge compartment. Settings
may be made from MIN., 1 ... 6, MAX., MAX
which is the coldest position. When the
appliance is switched on for the first time, the
thermostat control should be adjusted so that
after 24 hours, the average fridge temperature
is no higher than +5°C (+41°F). We
recommend you to set the thermostat control
half way between the MIN. and the MAX.
position and monitor to obtain the desired
temperature i. e. towards MAX. you will obtain
a colder fridge temperature and vice versa.
Some sections of the fridge may be cooler or
warmer (such as the vegetable drawers and
the top part of the cabinet) which is quite
normal.
The normal storage temperature of the freezer
should be -18°C (0°F). Lower temperatures
may be obtained by adjusting the thermostat
control towards the MAX. position.
We recommend that you check the
temperature with an accurate thermometer to
ensure that the storage compartments are
kept to the desired temperature.
Remember to
read off the thermometer very quickly as the
temperature on the thermometer will rise very
rapidly after you remove it from the freezer.
Please remember that each time the door is
opened cold air escapes and the internal
temperature rises. Therefore never leave the
door open and ensure that it is closed
immediately after food is put in or removed.

EN User guide
Before operating
Final Check
Before you start using the appliance check
that:
1. The front legs have been adjusted for
perfect levelling.
2. The interior is dry and that air can circulate
freely at the back of the appliance.
3. The interior is clean as recommended
under the "Cleaning and care" section.
4. The plug has been inserted into the wall
socket and the electricity is switched on.
When the door is open the interior light will be
switched on.
And note that:
5. You will hear a noise as the compressor
starts. The liquid and gases sealed within the
refrigeration system may also make some
noise, whether the compressor is running or
not. This is quite normal.
6. The top of the cabinet may be slightly
currugated which is quite normal due to the
manufacturing process used; it is not a
defect.
7. We recommend setting the thermostat
control midway and monitor the temperature
to ensure that the appliance maintains the
desired storage temperatures (see the
"Temperature Control and Adjustment"
section).
8. Do not load the appliance immediately after
it is switched on. Wait until the correct storage
temperature has been reached. We
recommend checking the temperature with an
accurate thermometer (see the "Temperature
Control and Adjustment" section).
Storing frozen food
Your freezer is suitable for the long-term
storage of commercially frozen food and also
can be used to freeze and store fresh food.
If there is an electrical cut, do not open the
door. Frozen food should not be affect
ed if the
electrical cut lasts for less than 18 hrs. If the
electrical cut is longer, then the food should
be checked and either eaten immediately or
cooked and then re-frozen.
Freezing fresh food
Please observe the following instructions to
obtain the best results.
Do not freeze too large a quantity at any one
time. The quality of the food is best preserved
when it is frozen right through to the core as
quickly as possible.
Do not exceed the freezing capacity of your
appliance in 24 h.
Placing warm food in the freezer compartment
causes the compressor
to operate continously
until the food is frozen solid. This can
temporarily lead to excessive cooling of the
refrigeration compartment.
When freezing fresh food, keep the
thermostat control at the medium position.
Small quantities of food up to 1/2 kg (1 lb) can
be frozen without adjusting the thermostat
control.
Making ice cubes
Fill the ice cube tray 3/4 with water and place
it in the freezer. Loosen frozen trays with a
spoon handle or a similar instrument; never
use sharp-edged objects such as knives or
forks.
Defrosting
A) Fridge compartment
The fridge compartment defrosts
automatically. The defrost water runs to the
drain tube via a collection container at the
back of the appliance (Fig. 6).
During defrosting, water droplets may form at
the back of the fridge compartment where a
concealed evaporator is located. Some
droplets may remain on the liner and refreeze
when defrosting is completed. Do not use
pointed or sharp-edged objects such as
knives or forks to remove the droplets which
have refrozen.
If, at any time, the thawed water is not drained
from the collection channel, check that no
food particles have blocked the drain tube.
4

EN User guide
The drain tube can be cleared with a cotton
bud or a similar instrument.
Check that the tube is permanently placed with
its end in the collecting tray on the compressor
to prevent the water spilling on the electric
installation or on the floor (Fig. 7).
B) Freezer compartment
As this appliance is supplied with the NO
FROST feature it means that the defrosting is
completely automatic. No intervention from
your side is requiered. The water is collected
on the compressor tray. Due to the heat of the
compressor the water is evaporated.
Never use hairdryers, electrical heaters or
other such electrical appliances for defrosting.
Sponge off the defrost water collected at the
bottom of the freezer compartment. After
defrosting, dry the interior thoroughly (Fig. 8).
Insert the plug into the socket and switch on
the electricity supply.
Warning!
The fan inside the freezer compartment
circulates cold air. Never insert any object
through the guard. Do not allow children to
play with the freezer fan.
Never store products that contain inflammable
propellant gas such as dispensers, spray
cans
etc. or explosive substances.
Don’t cover the shelves with any protective
materials, which may obstruct air circulation.
Do not allow children to play with the
appliance or the controls.
Do not obstruct the freezer fan guard to
ensure that you obtain the best possible
performance from your appliance
(Fig. 10).
Warning!
Your appliance is fitted with a circulating fan
which is essential for the performance of the
freezer. Please ensure that the fan is not
blocked (stopped) or impaired by food or
packaging. Blocking (stopping) or impairing
the fan can result in an increase of the internal
freezer temperature (Thawing).
How to reposition the doors
Proceed in numerical order (Fig. 12).
5
Replacing the interior light bulb
(Fig. 11)
In case the light bulb is not working it is easy
to replace. First make sure that the
fridge/freezer is disconnected from the power
supply by removing the plug. Take a flat
screwdriver and place it ca
refully without force
into the left gap between the lamp cover and
the internal cabinet. Then press the handle of
the screwdriver carefully to the left until you
notice that the left pin of the cover is
disengaged. Repeat this procedure on the
gap on the right, but now press the handle of
the screwdriver carefully to the right. If both
sides are loosened the cover can be removed
easily.
Ensure that the bulb is screwed securely in
the bulb holder. Plug the appliance into the
power supply. If the light is still not working,
replace the E14 screw-cap type 15 Watt
(Max) bulb with a bulb from your local
electrical store and then fit it. Carefully
dispose of the burnt-out light bulb
immediately.
When you have changed the light bulb please
fix the cover again in its former position. Take
care that the cover closes correctly.

appliance starts periodically. The noise
produced by the compressor becomes
stronger when it starts and a click can be
heard when it stops.
- The performance and operation features of
the appliance can change according to in the
surrounding environment. They must be
considered as normal.
2. Noises like liquids flowing or as being
sprayed
- These noises are caused by the flow of the
refrigerant in the circuit of the appliance and
comply with the operation principle of the
appliance.
3. Other vibrations and noises.
- The level of noise and vibrations can be
caused by the type and the condition of the
floor on which the appliance is placed. Make
sure that the floor does not have significant
level distortions or if it can yield to the weight
of the appliance (it is flexible).
- Another source of noise and vibrations is
represented by the objects placed on the

afbryder.
Stikket i netledningen skal være lettilgængelig
efter installationen, så apparatet kan nem
afbrydes fra strømforsyningen.
Advarsel! Dette apparat skal jordforbindes.
Reparationer af det elektriske udstyr må kun
udføres af autoriserede teknikere. Hvis
forbindelseskablet er beskadiget, skal
producenten eller GRAM service erstatte det
for at undgå fare.
BEMÆRK!
Dette apparat bruger R600a, som er en
miljøvenlig, men brændbar gas. Under
fremskynde afrimningsprocessen.
ADVARSEL - Undgå at beskadige
kølekredsløbet.
Transportvejledning
1. Apparatet bør kun transporteres
opretstående. Emballagen skal være intakt
under transporten.
2. Hvis apparatet har været placeret liggende
under transporten, må det ikke betjenes i
mindst 12 timer for at give systemet tid til at
sætte sig.
3. Hvis ovenstående retningslinier ikke
overholdes, kan det medføre beskadigelse af
apparatet, som ikke er dækket af
producentens garantiforpligtelse.
4. Apparatet skal beskyttes mod regn, fugt og
andre atmosfæriske påvirkninger.
Vigtigt!

apparatets funktioner. Hvis apparatet
installeres i nærheden af en varmekilde, skal
følgende minimumsafstande overholdes:
30 mm fra komfur
300 mm fra radiator
3. Kontrollér at der er tilstrækkelig plads
omkring apparatet til at sikre fri luftcirkulation
(Fig. 2).
• Sæt det bageste ventilationslåg til bagsiden
af køleskabet for at justere afstanden mellem
køleskabet og væggen (Fig. 3).

allerede frosne madvarer.
Anbefalingerne for opbevaring i
frysere, som det fremgår af
levnedsmiddelemballagen, bør altid følges.
3. Mejeriprodukter bør opbevares i det
koldeste sted i køleskabet.
4. Tilberedte retter bør opbevares i
tætsluttende beholdere.
5. Emballerede friskvarer kan opbevares på
hylderne. Friske frugter og grøntsager bør
opbevares i grøntsagsskuffer.
6. Flasker kan opbevares i dørhylder eller på
flaskehylden.
opbevares i to til tre dage.
9. Opbevar ikke vegetabilske olier på
dørhylderne. Opbevar madvarer emballeret,
foliepakket eller tildækket. Rester af
konserves bør ikke opbevares i dåsen.
10. For at tage skufferne ud af fryserrummet,
følg vejledningen i Fig. 9.
Temperaturkontrol og -regulering
Driftstemperaturer kontrolleres af
termostatkontrollen (Fig. 5), der er placeret i
loftet af køleskabssektionen. Justeringerne
kan være fra MIN., 1 ... 6, MAKS., hvor maks.
er den koldeste position. Når apparatet
tændes for første gang, bør
termostatkontrollen justeres, således at den
gennemsnitlige temperatur efter 24 timer ikke
overstiger 5 g+5°C.
Lavere temperaturer
Husk at aflæse
temperaturen med det samme, da
termometerets temperatur vil stige meget
fjernet madvarer.

DA Betjeningsvejledning
Før ibrugtagning
Den sidste kontrol
Inden du begynder at bruge apparatet, bør du
kontrollere at:
1. Fødderne er justeret, så apparatet står
fuldstændig plant.
2. Apparatet er tørt indeni og luften kan
cirkulere frit bag det.
3. Apparatet er rengjort sådan som anbefalet i
afsnittet "Rengøring og vedligeholdelse".
4. Stikket er tilsluttet til stikkontakten, og at
der er tændt for strømmen. Når døren åbnes,
vil det indvendige lys tændes.
Og bemærk at:
5. Der vil kunne høres en lyd, når
kompressoren starter. Kølevæsken og
luftarterne, der findes i kølesystemet, kan
også støje lidt, uanset om kompressoren
kører eller ej. Dette er helt normalt.
6. Oversiden af kabinet
tet kan være let bølget.
Dette er helt normalt og skyldes
produktionsprocessen, det er ikke en defekt.
7. Vi anbefaler, at termostatkontrollen
indstilles til midterpositionen, og at
temperaturen overvåges for at sikre, at
apparatet holder den ønskede
opbevaringstemperatur (se afsnittet
"Temperaturkontrol og –regulering").
8. Fyld ikke apparatet op umiddelbart efter at
have tænde tændt for det.
friske madvarer.
Undlad at åbne lågen i
tilfælde af strømudfald.
Frosne madvarer burde ikke tage skade, hvis
strømudfaldet varer mindre end 18 timer. Hvis
strømudfaldet varer længere, bør madvarerne
kontrolleres og enten spises med det samme
eller tilberedes og derefter genindfryses.
Frysning af friske madvarer
Ved at følge disse retningslinier, opnås de
bedste resultater.
uden at justere termostatkontrollen.
Fremstille isterninger
gafler.
Afrimning
A) Køleskabsrum
Køleskabsafdelingen afrimer automatisk.
Afrimningsvandet løber via afløbsslangen til
en opsamlingsbakke bag på apparatet (Fig.
6).
Under afrimning kan der dannes vanddråber
på køleskabets bagvæg, hvor der findes en
skjult fordamper. Det kan ske, at en del af
disse dråber forbliver på bagvæggen hvor de
fryser fast, så snart afrimningen er
tilendebragt.
12

DA Betjeningsvejledning
Drænrøret kan renses med en vatpind eller
lignende.
B) Fryserrum
NO FROST afrimningen sker automatisk. Der
kræves ikke noget indgreb fra din side.
Vandet samles på kompressorbakken. Pga.
varmen fra kompressoren fordamper vandet.
Brug aldrig hårtørrer, elektriske varmeovne
eller lignende el-apparater til afrimning.
Afrimningsvandet, som samler sig i bunden af
fryseren, fjernes med en svamp. Efter
afrimningen tørres fryserens indersider
grundigt (Fig. 8). Sæt stikket i stikkontakten
og tænd for strømmen.
Advarsler!
Opbevar aldrig produkter, der indeholder en
brandfarlig drivgas (f.eks. dispensere,
sprayflasker osv. som eller eksplosionsfarlige
produkter.
(Fig. 10).
Advarsel!
Dit apparat er udstyret med en
cirkulationsblæser, der er essentiel for
fryserens funktion. Sørg for, at blæseren ikke
er blokeret eller forringet af fødevarer eller
emballage.
Fortsæt i numerisk rækkefølge (Fig. 12).
Udskiftning af den indvendige
lyspære
(Fig. 11)
udskifte. Sørg først for, at køleskabet /
Tryk
så skruetrækkerens håndtag forsigtigt til
venstre, indtil du ser, at dækslets venstre bolt
frigøres. Gentag denne fremgangsmåde på
det højre hul, men tryk nu skruetrækkerens
håndtag til højre. Når begge sider er løsnet,
kan dækslet nemt tages af.
Kontrollér herefter, at pæren er skruet korrekt
fast i fatningen. Sæt køleskabet ind i
kontakten. Hvis lyset fortsat ikke virker,
udskiftes pæren med en ny 15 W (maks.)
pære med E14 gevind. Reservepærer kan
købes i enhver el-installationsforretning.
Bortskaf forsigtigt den udbrændte pære med
det samme.
Når du har skiftet pæren, sættes dækslet
tilbage til den oprindelig position. Sørg for, at
dækslet lukkes korrekt.
