How to Assemble Your Half Cadillac Conversion

- place box long side down
- use box cutter to carefully cut ties
- three packed bundles should be in box
with everything shown on page 1 & 2

STEP 2 - Installing Tower
Be sure to loosen all two set screws (8 altogether), so that there is no
obstruction when inserting poles (Figure A). Move the poles upright next
to Reformer frame end (rear). Carefully lift the conversion unit and place
into flange openings. Slowly walk the unit downward (don’t torque the poles)
until the poles enter the second flanges (Figure B).
STEP 1 - Remove Contents from Box
Place the box long-side down. Use Scissors
to carefully open box. Three packed bundles
should be in the box with everything.

STEP 5 - Adjusting components
Disengage springs (Figure B) and slide the carriage
all the way to the back of the rear frame (Figure C).

STEP 3 - Place Spring Bar on Frame
Be sure that both poles are sitting flush
on the stop bolt. Tighten all eight set
screws in the pattern below:
STEP 4 - Remove Shoulder Blocks
Locate and remove the hitch pins under the
carriage. Then remove Shoulder blocks (Figure A).
Lower Foot Bar down onto the tracks (Figure D).
Adjust Foot Bar Support toward the rear of the
Reformer (Figure E).

*Note: (If this step is not executed carefully, the corners
of your upholstery may get damaged). Place the side that
is against the other upholstery first and then hold the strap
to gentle insert the other side into place. (Figure F).

THE MANUFACTURER. DO NOT USE COMPONENTS
NOT APPROVED BY GRATZ PILATES.
- MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE EQUIPMENT IS OPERATED
ON A LEVEL SURFACE. KEEP AT LEAST 18IN OF SPACE
BETWEEN EQUIPMENT.
- BE SURE THAT ALL PARTS ARE FULLY TIGHTENED
BEFORE BEGINNING ANY EXERCISE.
- INSPECT THAT THE SPRINGS HAVE NO DEFECTS
SUCH AS CRACKS. IMMEDIATELY REQUEST
REPLACEMENT IF YOU SEE ANY DAMAGES.
- CONFIRM THAT NO TEARS ARE PRESENT IN THE VINYL
LEATHER STRAPS OR HANDLES. IMMEDIATELY REQUEST
REPLACEMENT IF NOTICED.
- USERS UNDER 18 SHOULD HAVE ADULT SUPERVISION.
- KEEP ANY LOOSE ITEMS OR CLOTHES CLEAR FROM
MOVING PARTS AT ALL TIME.
- IT IS THE BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO SUPERVISE
OTHER USERS ON THE PROPER CARE AND USE OF THE
EQUIPMENT. GRATZ STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT
NEW USERS BE PROPERLY EVALUATED BEFORE USING
GRATZ EQUIPMENT.
