haben. Dieses Flugmodell ist extrem vielseitig.
Lesen Sie diese Anleitung sorgfältig durch, um die besten Resultate
mit Ihrem Modell CHICO zu erzielen und vor allem um Ihre Modelle
sicher zu steuern. Sollten beim Betrieb irgendwelche Schwierigkei-
ten auftauchen, nehmen Sie die Anleitung zu Hilfe oder fragen Sie
Ihren Händler oder das Graupner Service Center.
Aufgrund technischer Änderungen können die Informationen in die-
ser Anleitung ohne vorherige Ankündigung geändert werden. Infor-
mieren Sie sich in regelmäßigen Abständen im Internet unter
www.graupner.de um auf dem neuesten Stand des Produktes und
der Firmware zu bleiben.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses RC-Modell wurde für den Zweck des Modellfluges konzipiert
und ist nur für diesen Zweck geeignet. Das RC- Modell ist für den Ein-
satz im Outdoorbereich für schwache bis mittlere Windverhältnisse
geeignet. Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsge-
mäß. Zum bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch gehört auch das Beach-
ten aller Hinweise aus der Gebrauchsanweisung. Die Anleitung
besteht aus 2 Teilen, beide müssen aufbewahrt werden und bei
einem Weiterverkauf des Modells an den Käufer weitergegeben
werden.
Lesen Sie vorab die gesamte Anleitung gewissenhaft bevor Sie das
Modell CHICO zusammenbauen bzw. einsetzen.
Für jegliche nicht bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung wird keine
Garantie oder Haftung übernommen.
Graupner/SJ arbeitet ständig an der Weiterentwicklung sämtli-
cher Produkte; Änderungen des Lieferumfangs in Form, Technik und
Ausstattung müssen wir uns deshalb vorbehalten.
Zielgruppe
Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Es ist nicht für Kinder unter 14 Jahren
geeignet. Für Jugendliche soll der Bau und Betrieb mit Unterstüt-
zung eines erfahrenen Modellbauers erfolgen. Der Zusammenbau
ist in nachfolgend beschriebenen Baustufen unterteilt und mit Bau-
stufenfotos bzw. Skizzen illustriert.
Sollten Sie nicht über ausreichende Kenntnisse über den Bau und
Umgang mit Flugmodellen verfügen, so wenden Sie sich an einen
erfahrenen Modellbauer oder an einen Modellbau-Club.

Klebeanleitung
Alle Teile bis auf die Kabinenhaube werden mit UHU Holzleim
No. 958.60 verklebt, die Kabinenhaube wird mit Sekundenkleber mit
dem Rumpf verklebt.

mit den Reaktionen des Modells auf die Fernsteuerbefehle vertraut.
Gehen Sie dabei verantwortungsvoll vor.
Bevor Sie dieses RC- Modell in Betrieb nehmen, müssen Sie sich

Der Anwender hat sich vor jeder Anwendung des RC- Modells von
der Funktionssicherheit und dem ordnungsgemäßen Zustand des
RC-Modells zu überzeugen.
Für den Betrieb eines RC- Modells ist eine Haftpflichtversicherung
vorgeschrieben.
Wenn das Modell mit Fernsteuerung (RC-Version) ausgestaet
wird, beachten Sie die Hinweise in der Anleitung der Fernsteuerung.

Entsorgungshinweis
Dieses Symbol auf dem Produkt, der Gebrauchsanleitung oder der

This airplane model is extremely versatile.
Read this manual carefully to achieve the best results with your
CHICO and first of all to safely control your models. If you experience
any trouble during operation, take the instructions to help or ask
your dealer or Graupner Service Centre.

manual without prior notice. Be always updated by checking period-
ically on our website, www.graupner.de to be always uptodate with
the products and firmwares.

Intended use
This RC model has been conceived as RC airplane model and it is only
suitable for this scope (e.g. light aerobatics, towing gliders models).
The RC model is suitable for outdoor use with low to medium wind.
Any other use is not allowed. Proper use also includes observing all
instructions in the manual for use. The manual consists of 2 parts,
both of which must be kept and passed on to the buyer upon resale
of the model.
Read through this entire manual carefully before you attempt to
assemble or use the CHICO.
For any improper use no guarantee or liability is assumed.
Graupner/SJ constantly works on the development of all prod-
ucts; we reserve the right to change the item, its technology and
equipment.
Target group
The item is not a toy. It is not suitable for children under 14. Young
people should be overwied and helped by experienced model mak-
ers while assembling and flying this model. The assembly steps are
described as follows and illustrated with assembly photos and
sketches.
If you do not have sufficient knowledge about assembling and deal-
ing with aircraft models, please contact an experienced modeler or
a model club.

Symbol description
Always follow the information marked with the CAUTION or
WARNING symbol. The signal word WARNING indicates the
potential for serious injury, the signal word CAUTION indicates
potential minor injuries.
The signal words note and caution indicate potential damages to
objects.

INJURY RISK, MOVE THE CUTTER ALWAYS IN THE OPPO-
SITE DIRECTION OF YOUR FINGERS AND HANDS.
Gluing instructions
All parts except for the canopy are glued with UHU Holzleim No.
958.60, the canopy is glued to the hull with superglue.

General
These safety instructions are intended not only to protect the prod-
uct, but also for your own and other people’s safety. Therefore please
read this section very carefully before using the product!
Do not leave the packaging material lying around, this could be a
dangerous toy for children.
Persons, including children, with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, or not capable
to use safely the CHICO must not use the model without supervision
or instruction by a responsible person.
Operation and use of radio-controlled models needs to be learnt! If
you have never driven such a model, then start extra carefully and
make sure to be familiar with the reactions of the model to the
remote control commands. Proceed responsibly.
Before you start using the remote control model, you have to check
the further relevant laws and regulations.
The user must be sure, before each use of RC model, about the func-
tional safety and the proper condition of the RC model.
The insurance is mandatory for all kinds of RC model operation.
If the model is equipped with RC system (RC version), pay aenon
to the instrucon included with the transmier.

Utilisation propre
Ce modèle RC a été conçu dans le but du vol de modèle et ne convient
qu'à cet effet (par exemple, voltige aérienne simples, remorquage
de planeurs). Le modèle RC est adapté à une utilisation dans les
applications extérieures avec des conditions de vent de faibles à
moyennes. Toute autre utilisation est impropre. Une utilisation cor-
recte implique également de respecter toutes les instructions figu-
rant dans les instructions d'utilisation. Le manuel comprend deux
parties, qui doivent toutes deux être conservées et transmises à
l'acheteur lors de la revente du modèle.
Lisez attentivement et complètement cette notice avant d'installer
ou d'utiliser le modèle CHICO.

Toutes les pièces sauf la canopée sont collées avec de la UHU Holzleim
