Engine exhaust fumes can cause sickness or death. If it is necessary to run an engine in an enclosed area
use an exhaust pipe extension to remove the fumes. Always try to work in a well ventilated area.

A burst which separates the tyre from the rim parts can cause serious injury or death.

Handle fuel with care it is highly flammable: Do not refuel machine while smoking when machine is near
an open flame or sparks or when the engine is running. Stop the engine.

WARNING! SHARP PARTS. Keep hands and feet away. Do not operate the mower over
gravel or foreign bodies which may be sucked up and ejected by the blades generating a
danger. Keep people at a min. distance of 15 metres. Remove the key and read the
instruction manual before attempting to carry out any maintenance or repairs to the machine.

Reparatureingriff den tartschlüssel abziehen und die Gebrauchsanleitung durchlesen.

HYDROSTATIC GRASS-CUTTER
GRILLO CL62 & CL62M
Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing the Grillo CL62/CL62M. We hope that this ne mo er ill fully satisfy your
requirements. For efficient use and maintenance carefully read and follo the instructions given in this
manual. This ill enable you to get the best results from your mo er and ill prevent any avoidable
expense. Please look after this manual hich should al ays be kept ith the grass-cutter.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE
The Grillo CL62 is a alk-behind grass-cutter designed to cut grass in fallo areas and to ork both on
flat terrain and on slopes (max. 25°).
The Grillo CL62M is a alk-behind grass-cutter designed to cut grass and to carry out a mulching cut in
fallo areas and to ork both on flat terrain and on slopes (max. 30°).
Al ays follo the operating, maintenance and repair instructions described by the manufacturer in this
manual.
Use exclusively original Grillo attachments and spare parts, the only one to ensure safety and efficiency.
Any improper use ill void the arranty and the manufacturer ill not be held responsible for any
damage that occurs thereafter.

WARNINGS
Caution is the main safeguard in preventing accidents. We urge you to read the arnings that follo
hen using the grass-cutter, before starting any ork at all. Improper use of the grass-cutter and its
equipment can be dangerous. To reduce the risks to the minimum, observe the necessary precautions
set out belo :
1) Read the hole of this manual before using your grass-cutter. Be thoroughly familiar ith the controls
and the proper use of the grass-cutter before starting.
2) Pay special attention to the safety arnings and labels.
3) The rotating blade is extremely dangerous; never insert h nds or feet under the gr ss-cutter!
4) Before other people are allo ed to use the grass-cutter, make sure they are informed about the safety
regulations and ho to properly use this equipment.
5) Ensure children and animals are kept at a safe distance of about 15 metres. Do not allo people to
come closer to the grass-cutter hen it is being used.
6) Do not use the grass-cutter hen physically fatigues or under the influence of alcohol or drugs that
could impair the operator's physical and mental capacities.
7) Thoroughly check the ground before using the grass-cutter and remove any object that could damage
the blade (e.g. stones) or that could be caught up and flung do n, therefore becoming highly dangerous.
(e.g. branches, stones).
8) Alw ys we r suit ble clothing nd footwe r. It is recommended to we r s fety footwe r, s fety
goggles, e r plugs nd gloves, long trousers. Do not we r clothing or ccessories th t could get
tr pped in the controls or in the tiller (e.g. loose trousers, sc rves…).
9) Pay close attention hen orking on slopes. Al ays ork across the slope and never
up ards/do n ards. Pay greater attention hen changing direction on slopes and never ork on
excessively steep ground.
10) Never allo the grass-cutter to be used by anyone under 16 years of age.
11) Pay close attention hen operating the grass-cutter in reverse, make sure that there are no
obstacles behind you. In case of danger release the handlebar and the grass-cutter ill stop
immediately.
12) It is dangerous to sharply activate the levers ith the engine at maximum r.p.m.
13) Do not operate the engine in a confined space here dangerous carbon monoxide fumes can
collect.

14) CAUTION: Petrol is highly infl mm ble. Store fuel in containers especially designed for this
purpose. Refuel outdoors and a ay from any open flames or sparks. Never smoke hen refuelling. Stop
the engine before refuelling and never refuel ith the engine running. Never remove the tap of the fuel
tank or add fuel hen the engine is hot. If fuel is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine but move the
grass-cutter a ay from the area of spillage and avoid creating any source of ignition until fuel vapours
have dissipated. After refuelling all fuel caps should be closed securely.
15) Avoid spillages and clean up all spills straight a ay.
16) Store fuel in containers especially designed for this purpose.
17) Make sure you ork preferably in natural light or good artificial light.
18) Never use the grass-cutter to crush building, metallic and plastic material nor roots and trunks or any
sort of garbage.
19) Do not use the grass-cutter to transport people, animals or objects.
20) Never dis ble s fety devices.
21) Alw ys stop the engine before m king ny djustment or cle ning.
22) Never llow nyone to check the gr ss-cutter with engine running.
23) The user is al ays responsible for injuries or damages caused to third parties and for any risk they
could run.
24) Damaged blades must al ays be replaced and never repaired.
25) Al ays use genuine Grillo spare parts.
26) Before starting any ork ith the grass-cutter, check that all the accident prevention systems ith
hich it is equipped ith are in perfect orking order. They must never be disabled or tampered ith.
27) Before starting ork, check that the nuts and bolts securing the blades are perfectly secured.
28) Never operate the grass-cutter ithout safety protective devices in place (such as mudguards and
engine bonnets).
29) Never clean the grass-cutter ith the engine running.
30) Never use the grass-cutter barefoot.
31) Never change the max RPM engine settings nor any other engine settings.
32) Allo the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.
33) CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire, keep the engine, the exh ust pipe nd the exh ust
m nifolds free from gr ss, le ves, dust, etc…
34) Drain the fuel only outdoors.
35) Do not run ith the grass-cutter.
36) Hold your feet a ay hen starting the grass-cutter.
37) Do not lift or transport the grass-cutter ith the engine running.
38) Do not store the gr ss-cutter with fuel in the t nk where petrol v pours could re ch n open
fl me or source of ignition.
39) Never use the grass-cutter neither to pull nor to to .
40) Pay particular attention hen orking on slopes, the operator could slip causing the grass-cutter to
move back ards becoming therefore dangerous.
41) Take care hen orking on slopes here grass is et.
42) Al ays drive slo ly on uneven grounds.
43) Do not ork ith the grass-cutter over gravel that could be sucked up and dangerously thro n a ay.
CAUTION!
We recommend the use of ear plugs/protection should the grass-cutter be used for a prolonged time.
Use acoustic protections compliant ith the current la (see picture belo – Fig. A).

IDENTIFICATION AND SERVICING
IDENTIFICATION
The Grillo CL62/CL62M has a label located on the grass-
cutter frame.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
This manual gives instructions for the use and basic maintenance of the mo er by the user. For
operations that are not described in this manual, contact your Service Centre.
SPARE PARTS
Only use original spare parts. These are the only parts that ensure safety and interchangeability. Al ays
quote the grass-cutter’s serial number and the code number of the part to be replaced hen ordering
spare parts. For engine parts, follo the indications given in the specific manual.
GUARANTEE
The guarantee is given in compliance ith the current la . The dealer ill have to give the client a copy
of the registration card of the grass-cutter, hich they ill print up from the Grillo ebsite. For the engine
the guarantee of the relative manufacturers apply.

CL62M - KAWASAKI FJ 180 V KAI, 179cc, 4,5 HP (K 3,4) one-cylinder, 4-stroke, petrol engine

PUTTING THE GRASS-CUTTER INTO SERVICE
1) Check that the grass-cutter has not been damaged during transport.
2) Check the oil levels of the engine and hydrostatic transmission.
3) Check the tyre pressure: 1,5 BAR rear heels 4.00-8.
4) Turn the handlebar.
5) Install the front heel support (fig.5).
6) Tighten the clamping and regulating scre s of the front- heel support firmly. The bearing inside the
support must block.
RUNNING IN – CAUTION!!
Change the engine oil after the first 5 orking hours (SAE 30).
Check that there are no oil leaks or slack scre s, especially those hich fix the blade. After a couple of
orking hours adjust the tension of the belt running from the engine to the cutting deck as ell as the
blade brake tension(fig. 6 – fig. 7)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE
Before starting the engine, al ays check that:
– the engine oil level is correct (fig. 8, ref. A) – (see the appropriate manual).
– the air grids for the engine cooling system are clean (fig. 10, ref. B).
– the air filter is thoroughly clean (fig. 10, ref. A) – (see the appropriate manual).
– the mo ing deck is clean.
– the fins on the hydraulic motor are thoroughly clean (fig. 9, ref. A).
– the blades are ell sharpened and secured to the blade holder.
Fill the fuel tank ith fresh fuel using a funnel ith a very fine filter (fig. 1, n°11).
STARTING THE ENGINE
– Push the throttle (fig.1, n°4).
– If the engine is cold, use the choke (fig.1, n°4). To start the engine, strongly pull the recoil starter (fig.
1, n°7).
– Wait a fe minutes to allo the engine to arm up. Import nt: When travelling ith the mo er from
one place to another, engage the FORWARD/STOP lever only (fig. 1, n°1 – fig. 2).
STARTING WORK
– Choose the desired cutting height using the lever (fig. 1, n°10). Suitably accelerate the engine and
engage the PTO – CLUTCH lever (fig. 2, ref. B). Gently operate the for ard lever (fig. 2, ref. C) and start
orking. To stop the grass-cutter, release both levers on the handlebar (fig. 2, ref. D)
– The lever (fig. 2, ref. C) is used to select the orking speed and to engage the reverse gear (fig. 2, ref.
C). Pushing the lever for ard, the mo er moves for ard; pulling the lever back ards, the grass-cutter
moves in reverse – remember to al ays pull the lever gently. When both levers on the handlebar are
released, the lever goes automatically from the FORWARD position back to the STOP position.
- To insert the reverse gear (fig. 2, ref. C) the lever has to be kept pulled.
FRONT WHEEL LOCK DEVICE
When orking on slopes, it is possible to block the front heel lo ering the plastic item (fig. 4, ref. A).

PARKING BRAKE
To stop the mo er correctly, the user must engage the brake lever. When the lever is in the position

especially hen leaving the grass-cutter at standstill on slopes.
HOW TO ADJUST THE GRASS-CUTTER
The mo er is equipped ith a dry clutch on the hydrostatic axle to maintain the position. To change the
clutch load, lock the nut (fig. 12, ref. B). To adjust the belt tension on the transmission of the blade, adjust
the regulating scre (fig. 6, ref. D) and keep the compensation spring at 2 mm. The blade brake is made
up of friction material (fig. 6, ref. B) and it is installed on a spring (fig. 6, ref. A). When orking, the pulley
detachment should be minimal and should take place only in the final phase of the movement of the
P.T.O guide pulley.
USEFUL TIPS FOR EFFICIENT USE
1) Never strain the engine: hen fumes are emitted from the exhaust it means that it is being strained
and should be slo ed do n.
2) Do not leave the grass-cutter out in the rain.
3) Frequently sharpen the mo er blades: the cut ill be better and the engine ill not strain too much.
4) Keep the engine at the maximum r.p.m. during mo ing and adjust the speed according to the grass
height.
5) Keep the grids bove the engine nd the cooling fins of the hydr ulic motor (fig. 10 ) cle n.
CUTTING POSITIONS
To adjust the cutting position use the lever (fig. 1, n°10). The deck can be set in several different cutting
positions going from 50 mm to 110 mm. In case of uneven ground, humps or dips, the deck should be
kept in the highest cutting position to prevent the blade from hitting the ground.
MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
CAUTION!

- When the gr ss-cutter or p rt of it is lifted to c rry out m inten nce oper tions, lw ys

locks or supports, never le ve it ungu rded in pl ces where inexperienced people nd children
could h ve e sy ccess to it.
- Protect the environment: c refully dispose of used oils, petrol nd ny other pollut nt product!
- Effective m inten nce nd correct lubric tion help to keep the gr ss-cutter fully efficient.
CAUTION!
To operate on the hydrostatic transmission remove the co ling by loosening the four M6 scre s located
rear on the upper part.
ENGINE
For the lubrication intervals, follo the instructions provided in the engine handbook. Oil must be
ch nged fter the first 5 working hours using an oil suction device. Use SAE 30 oil. The first
precaution is to ensure that the engine is correctly serviced ith the air filter, cooling fins, a clean cylinder
head and the oil at the correct level. Check the air filter every 4 hours, and even more so in very dusty
environments (fig. 10, ref. A). Check the engine cooling system intake grid (fig. 10, ref. B).
HYDROSTATIC AXLE
The hydrostatic axle does not require any special maintenance. It is filled ith 20W50 oil. The oil fill cap
is located on the upper part (fig. 9, ref. B).

LUBRICATION POINTS WITH GREASE
Lubricate the follo ing elements ith grease every 50 hours the front heel pin (fig. 5, ref. A) and all the
handlebar's joints and the cables.
CHECKING THE BLADES AND CUTTING DECK
A blunt blade rips the grass, leaving it unattractive. Therefore both blade cutting edges must be al ays
ell-sharpened. Sharpen both cutting edges using a medium-grain grinding heel. If the grass-cutter
vibrates abnormally check that the blade is balanced by placing it on a round bar inserted in the central
hole. To remove a blade, hold of it firmly, al ays earing ork gloves, and unscre the central scre .
Caution: it is the scre on the right (fig. 13).
CAUTION!
Tighten the fixing scre firmly (fig. 13). ALWAYS USE ORIGINAL BLADES!
BLADE – ENGINE BELT
To adjust the belt tension operate on the register (fig. 6, ref. D) that is placed near the pulley on the blade
axle. During ork, the spring should stretch up to 2 mm. If the belt becomes t isted or comes off, check
pulley alignment. T ke c re hen positioning the belt guides: move them to ards the belt. Guides must
never touch belt.
HYDROSTATIC AXLE – ENGINE BELTS
Check the spring tension. To replace the belts, release the tension spring (fig. 7. ref. A).
BLADE ROTATION
To engage and disengage the blade, use the lever (fig. 2, ref. B). When engaging the blade, the engine
must already be running at medium rpm and the grass-cutter must not be in the grass for cutting.
Disengage the blade by releasing the lever (fig. 2, ref. D). The blade must stop ithin 5 seconds; if this is
not the case, adjust the brake using the load spring (fig. 6, ref. A) and replace the brake unit if necessary
(fig. 6, ref. B). N.B. This oper tion must be c rried out by n uthorized Service Centre.
CHANGING THE BELTS
The movement is transmitted from the engine to the hydraulic transmission and to the blades by means
of t o V-belts. Replace the belts if they sho any sign of ear! Their replacement and subsequent
adjustment are fairly complex procedures and must be carried out by an authorized Service Centre. To
replace the belt going from the engine to the cutting deck, remove the belt guide on the engine pulley.
ALWAYS USE GENUINE BLADES!
TRACTION RELEASE LEVER
The traction release device is located at the side of the grass-cutter under the rear frame (fig. 12, ref. A).
If the grass-cutter breaks do n, to allo it to be to ed or moved by hand, move the lever to idle position.
In the internal position the grass-cutter is ready to ork.

ENDING WORK
Release the for ard lever to stop the grass-cutter (fig. 1, no° 1). Put the throttle lever in the STOP
position (fig. 2, ref. A) to s itch off the engine.
STORAGE AND PROLONGED PERIODS OF INACTIVITY
Store the mo er in a dry place, a ay from atmospheric agents, and preferably cover it ith a sheet.
Follo the instructions included in the engine manual. If the grass-cutter is to be out of use for more
than 30 days, drain the fuel from the engine to prevent sticky deposits from occurring in the fuel intake
system or in vital parts of carburettor. To avoid this procedure, it is possible to save fuel in storage up to
12 months by using an appropriate fuel stabilizer. Add this additive to the fuel in the tank or in the fuel
container. Run the engine for a hile to let the stabilizer get into the fuel system. C ution: if the engine
is fed ith petrol containing alcohol, drain the fuel tank and run the engine until there is no fuel left.
TRANSPORTING THE GRASS-CUTTER
If the grass-cutter has to be transported on a lorry or a trailer, lo er the mo er deck, engage the parking
brake and fasten the grass-cutter to the vehicle using ropes or cables.

zone rustic e anc e su superfici in pendenza (max. 30°).
Rispettare sempre le condizioni di funzionamento, di manutenzione e riparazione prescritte dal
costruttore.
Utilizzare solo accessori e ricambi originali Grillo c e garantiscano il mantenimento della sicurezza e
della buona efficienza dell'accessorio. Ogni utilizzo diverso da quanto sopra viene considerato come
improprio.
Il costruttore non accetta responsabilità per danni risultanti dall'uso non corretto o improprio e da
qualsiasi modifica realizzata arbitrariamente sull'accessorio.

AVVERTENZE
La prudenza e l'arma principale nella prevenzione degli incidenti. La preg iamo vivamente di leggere
con attenzione le seguenti avvertenze, prima di iniziare il lavoro.
L'uso improprio del trincia può risultare dannoso; per ridurre queste possibilità osservare le precauzioni
necessarie di seguito riportate:
1) Prima di utilizzare il trincia, leggere attentamente tutte le istruzioni riportate su questo
manuale. Prendere familiarità con i comandi ed il corretto uso della macc ina.
2) Porre particolare attenzione alle etic ette di sicurezza poste sulla macc ina.
3) La rotazione delle lame è altamente pericolosa, non mettere mai le mani o i piedi nelle vicinanze
dell'attrezzo.
4) Consentire l'uso del trincia soltanto a persone c e anno letto il presente manuale o c e anno
ricevuto adeguate istruzioni per un uso sicuro e appropriato.
5) Tenere bambini e animali ad una distanza di almeno 15 metri dall'area di lavoro. Non consentire
ad altre persone o animali di avvicinarsi alla macc ina quando questa viene accesa o utilizzata.
6) Non utilizzare il trincia in condizioni di affaticamento fisico, o sotto l'effetto di alcool, drog e o farmaci
c e riducano le capacita fisic e e cognitive dell'operatore.
7) Controllare l'area nella quale deve essere utilizzata la macc ina: prima di procedere con il lavoro
rimuovere tutti gli oggetti c e potrebbero danneggiare le lame (es. pietre) o c e potrebbero essere
lanciati dall'attrezzo azionato (es. sassi, ecc.).
8) Quando si lavora con il trincia utilizzare sempre un abbigliamento adeguato. Si
consiglia d'indossare calzature di sicurezza, occhiali o visiera protettiva, cuffie o tappi
antirumore, guanti da lavoro, pantaloni lunghi. Evitare di indossare indumenti o accessori
che possano impigliarsi nei comandi o nell’attrezzo (es. non indossare pantaloni
larghi, sciarpe…).
9) Sui pendii agire sempre con cautela, lavorare trasversalmente rispetto alla pendenza, mai in
salita o in discesa, fare particolare attenzione durante il cambio di direzione, non lavorare su pendii
eccessivamente ripidi.

10) E' vietato l'uso della motofalciatrice ai minori di 16 anni.
11) Liberare da ostacoli le zone di manovra, onde evitare danni dovuti a urti o situazioni di pericolo,
porre particolare attenzione durante l’utilizzo della retromarcia.
12) E pericoloso azionare le leve bruscamente, in particolare col motore a massimo regime.
13) Per evitare il pericolo di esalazioni tossic e, non adoperare il motore acceso in un locale
c iuso.
14) TTENZIONE! La benzina è altamente infiammabile. Conservare il carburante in appositi
recipienti. Fare rifornimento di carburante solamente all'aperto lontano da fiamme libere e scintille.
Non fumare durante questa operazione. Aggiungere il carburante sempre prima di avviare il
motore, mai a motore acceso. Non togliere mai il tappo del serbatoio ne aggiungere benzina
quando il motore e in funzione o quando e caldo. In caso di fuoriuscita di benzina, non tentare di
avviare il motore, ma allontanare la macc ina dall'area dove e avvenuta la fuoriuscita, evitando di
creare fonti di accensione finc è non si sono dissipati i vapori della benzina.
15) Evitare fuoriuscite di combustibile e, dopo aver riempito il serbatoio, pulire ogni fuoriuscita
prima di avviare il motore.
16) Immagazzinare il carburante in contenitori specificatamente costruiti con questo obiettivo.
17) Lavorare solo con la luce del sole o con buona illuminazione artificiale.
18) In nessun caso utilizzare il trincia Grillo per frantumare materiali edilizi, plastici, metallici, e rifiuti in
genere.
19) Non utilizzare mai la macc ina per trasportare persone o animali.
20) Non manomettere o disattivare i dispositivi di sicurezza.
21) Non fare nessun tipo di regolazione o pulizia col motore in moto.
22) Non fare controllare la macchina da nessuno mentre siete alla guida col motore in moto.
23) L'utilizzatore e sempre responsabile dei danni arrecati a terzi, degli incidenti o dei pericoli nei
quali possono incorrere.
24) In caso di lame deformate o danneggiate procedere sempre con la sostituzione, mai tentare
riparazioni.
25) Usare sempre ricambi originali Grillo.
26) Prima di cominciare qualsiasi lavoro con la macc ina, verificare c e tutti i sistemi
antinfortunistici di cui essa e dotata siano perfettamente funzionanti. E severamente vietato escluderli o
manometterli.
27) Prima di iniziare il lavoro, controllare c e le viti di fissaggio delle lame siano strette correttamente.
28) L'attrezzatura protettiva (cofani, parafang i, ecc.), va assolutamente mantenuta durante il lavoro.
29) Non pulire le lame con il motore acceso.
30) Durante il lavoro devono essere utilizzate scarpe di sicurezza.
31) Non cambiare le regolazioni del motore, in modo particolare il numero massimo di giri.
32) Far raffreddare il motore prima di mettere la macc ina in locali c iusi.
33) TTENZIONE: per ridurre il pericolo di incendio mantenere il motore, la marmitta e i
collettori di scarico liberi da erba, foglie, polvere ecc..
34) Se dovete svuotare il serbatoio del carburante eseguite l’operazione all’aperto.
35) Non correre, ma accompagnare la macc ina sempre e solo camminando.
36) Avviare la macc ina tenendo i piedi ben distanti dall’apparato di taglio.
37) Non sollevare o trasportare la macc ina quando il motore e acceso.
38) Non immagazzinare mai la macchina con benzina nel serbatoio all'interno di un edificio
dove i vapori possono raggiungere una fiamma libera o una scintilla.
39) Non installare sulla macc ina accessori non originali, o prodotti da aziende non autorizzate Grillo o
comunque modificati da personale non autorizzato Grillo. Per qualsiasi dubbio contattare sempre un
rivenditore autorizzato o direttamente il nostro centro assistenza Grillo.
40)Porre particolare attenzione quando si lavora in salita, il risc io di caduta dell’operatore potrebbe
provocare l’indietreggiare della macc ina e creare una situazione di pericolo.
41) Prestare massima attenzione su pendii in cui l'erba è bagnata.
42) Quando si lavora su terreni sconnessi procedere sempre a velocità moderata.
43) Non lavorare con il trinciarba sopra alla g iaia perc é potrebbe venire aspirata e lanciata.

MESSA IN OPERA DELLA MACCHINA
1) Controllare l’integrità della macc ina e c e non abbia subito danni durante il trasporto.
2) Verificare i livelli olio motore e trasmissione idrostatica.
3) Verificare la pressione degli pneumatici: 1,5 BAR ruote posteriori 4.00-8.
4) Ruotare la stegola di guida.
5) Montare il supporto ruotina anteriore (fig. 5).
6) Stringere saldamente le viti di serraggio e di registro del supporto ruota anteriore. La boccola al
suo interno deve bloccarsi.
RODAGGIO - ATTENZIONE!!
Sostituire l’olio motore dopo le prime 5 ore di funzionamento (SAE 30).
Controllare c e non vi siano perdite d’olio o viti lente, in particolare quella di fissaggio della lama. Dopo
le prime ore di funzionamento registrare la tensione della cing ia motore piatto di taglio unitamente al
freno lama (fig. 6 - fig. 7).

ISTRUZIONI D'USO
Prima di avviare il motore controllare sempre:
– c e l’olio nel motore sia a livello (fig. 8, rif. A) - (attenersi all’apposito libretto);
– c e le griglie di aspirazione per il raffreddamento del motore siano pulite (fig. 10, rif. B):
– c e il filtro aria sia ben pulito (fig. 10, rif. A), (attenersi all’apposito libretto);
– c e il piatto tosaerba sia ben pulito;
– c e le alette del motore idraulico siano pulite (fig. 9, rif. A);
– c e la lama sia ben affilata e saldamente fissata;
Riempire il serbatoio di carburante servendosi di un imbuto munito di un filtro molto fine utilizzando
benzina fresca (fig. 1, n°11).
AVVIAMENTO DEL MOTORE
– Spingere il manettino acceleratore (fig. 1, n°4).
– Se il motore è freddo azionare il dispositivo di starter (fig. 1, n°4). Avviare il motore tirando con forza
la maniglia dell'autoavvolgente (fig. 1, n°7).
– Aspettare qualc e minuto per riscaldare il motore.
Nota: durante i trasferimenti innestare la leva di solo AVANZAMENTO/STOP (fig. 1, n° 1 – fig. 2).
INIZIO DEL LAVORO
– Scegliere l’altezza di taglio agendo sul manettino (fig. 1, n°10), accelerare opportunamente il motore,
innestare la PTO-FRIZIONE (fig. 2, rif. B). Azionare dolcemente la leva avanzamento (fig. 2, rif. C) ed
iniziare il lavoro. Per fermarsi lasciare entrambe le leve sul manubrio (fig. 2, rif. D).
– La leva (fig. 2, rif. C) serve per scegliere la velocità di lavoro e anc e per la retromarcia (fig. 2, rif. C).
Spostando la leva in avanti si seleziona la velocità in avanti, spostandola indietro si seleziona la
retromarcia – azionarla dolcemente. Abbandonando entrambe le leve sul manubrio, la leva ritorna
automaticamente dalla posizione marcia avanti nella posizione di STOP.
– Per inserire la retromarcia la leva (fig. 2, rif. C) va mantenuta tirata.
BLOCCO RUOTA ANTERIORE
Per il lavoro in pendenza è possibile bloccare la ruota anteriore abbassando il particolare (fig. 4, rif. A).
FRENO DI STAZIONAMENTO
Per stazionare la macc ina correttamente bisogna innestare la leva di freno. Nella posizione (fig. 8, rif.
B) il freno è disinserito. Inserire sempre il freno di stazionamento, in particolare nel caso in cui si lasci la
macc ina in pendenza o durante il trasporto.
REGISTRAZIONE MACCHINA
La macc ina dispone di una piccola frizione a secco sull'assale per mantenere la posizione. Se si
dovesse presentare il bisogno di modificare il carico sulla frizione stringere il dado (fig. 12, rif. B).
Per registrare la tensione della cing ia per la trasmissione della lama, si deve intervenire sulla vite di
regolazione (fig. 6, rif. D) e mantenere un' estensione della molla di compensazione di 2 mm. Il freno
lama è composto da un organo in materiale d'attrito frenante (fig. 6, rif. B) caricato da una molla posta
sotto di esso (fig. 6, rif. A), il distacco dalla puleggia in fase di lavoro deve essere minimo e deve
avvenire solo nella fase finale della escursione del galoppino della PTO.

1) Non forzare mai il motore: quando fuma dallo scarico, è sotto sforzo; bisogna rallentare.
2) Non tenere la macc ina sotto la pioggia.
3) Affilare frequentemente la lama; il taglio sarà migliore e il motore assorbirà meno potenza.
4) Durante la rasatura tenere il motore a massimo regime, regolare la velocità in base all’altezza
dell’erba.
5) Mantenere pul ta le gr gl a sopra al motore e le alette d raffreddamento del motore draul co
(f g. 10).

POSIZIONI DI TAGLIO
Per regolare l’altezza di taglio si agisce sul manettino (fig. 1, n° 10). Il piatto può essere posizionato in
diverse posizioni di taglio c e variano da 50 a 110 mm. In presenza di terreno accidentato, cunette o
dossi, è conveniente operare con il piatto nella posizione di taglio più alta onde evitare urti da parte della
lama.
MANUTENZIONE E LUBRIFICAZIONE

ATTENZIONE!
Per accedere alla trasmissione idrostatica è sufficiente rimuovere la carenatura svitando quattro viti M6
posizionate posteriormente sulla parte alta.
MOTORE
Per gli intervalli di lubrificazione seguire le norme contenute nel libretto del motore; comunque è
nd spensab le sost tu re l’ol o dopo le pr me 5 ore d lavoro tramite l'utilizzo di un aspiraolio.
Utilizzare olio SAE 30. La prima precauzione è c e venga effettuata regolarmente una corretta
manutenzione del motore con filtro aria, alette raffreddamento, testata pulita e l’olio motore a livello.
Controllare il filtro aria ogni 4 ore, più frequentemente se l’ambiente è molto polveroso (fig. 10, rif. A).
Controllare la griglia a rete di aspirazione del raffreddamento del motore (fig. 10, rif. B).
ASSALE IDROSTATICO
L'assale non ric iede alcuna manutenzione. All'interno viene utilizzato olio 20W50. Il tappo d'inserimento
si trova nella parte superiore (fig. 9, rif. B).
PUNTI DI LUBRIFICAZIONE CON GRASSO
Lubrificare con grasso ogni 50 ore: il perno della ruota anteriore (fig. 5, rif. A). Lubrificare le articolazioni
della stegola e i cavi.
CONTROLLO LAMA PIATTO
Una lama non affilata strappa l’erba, conferendogli un brutto aspetto; é necessario c e l’affilatura sia
sempre eseguita sui taglienti. Affilare entrambi i taglienti per mezzo di una mola a grana media. Se la
macc ina a vibrazioni anomale, occorre verificare l’equilibratura della lama sorreggendola con un tondo
infilato nel foro centrale. Per smontare una lama, afferrarla saldamente utilizzando guanti da lavoro e
svitare la vite centrale. Attenzione, la vite è destra (fig. 13).
ATTENZIONE!
Serrare bene a fondo la vite di fissaggio (fig. 13). USARE SEMPRE COLTELLI ORIGINALI!
CINGHIA MOTORE - LAMA
La tensione si registra agendo sul registro (fig. 6, rif. D) posto in prossimità della puleggia asse lama. In
lavoro la molla si deve allungare a 2 mm. Se si verifica l’attorcigliamento o la fuoriuscita della cing ia
controllare l’allineamento delle pulegge. Attenz one: quando si posizionano i guidacing ia, occorre
avvicinarli alla cing ia. Quando la cing ia è in tensione non deve toccare le guide posizionate sotto al
motore.
