Attach mounting brackets to the device. 安装挂耳到设备
Mount the device in a rack. 安装设备到机柜
When the device is mouNted on a workbench, connect the ring terminal end of the
grounding cable to the device and the other end to a grounding strip.
设备安装在工作台时，应将接地线带有OT端子的一端与设备相连，另一端与楼宇配线盒
的接地排相连。
When the device is mounted in a rack, maKe sure the rack is reliably grounded, and use
the grounding cable to connect the device to the grounding terminal on the rack.
设备安装在机柜时，要求机柜已经良好接地，并将楼宇保护地线与接地端子相连。
If the installation site does not have grounding facilities but earth ground is available,
bury a grounding conductor for the device in the earth ground.
如果设备安装环境中不具备专用的接地线连接装置，也可以采用埋设接地体的方式将设备
妥善接地。
Connecting the grounding cable
Correctly connecting the grounding cable is crucial to lightning protection and EMI
protection. Use the grounding cable provided with the device to ground the device.
设备地线的正确连接是设备防雷、放干扰的重要保障，请使用设备随机提供的保护地线正
确接地。
Installing SICs

Only the ICG2000D and ICG2000D-EI support SICs.
仅ICG2000D/2000D-EI支持安装接口模块。
SICs are not hot swappable.
SIC接口模块不支持热插拔。

Connecting the power cord
The ICG2000D/2000D-EI/2000H uses an AC power cord. The ICG2000H-DC uses a
DC power cord.
ICG2000D/2000D-EI/2000H仅支持安装交流电源线，ICG2000H-DC仅支持安装直流
电源线。
No DC power cord but only a terminal block is provided with the ICG2000H-DC. You
must purchase a DC power cord yourself.
ICG2000H- DC设备随机不附带电源线缆，仅提供一个电源端子，电源线缆需要用户
自行购买安装。
Before connecting the power cord, make sure the device is grounded reliably.
在连接电源线前，需保证设备已正确接地。
To avoid bodily injury, connect the power cord to the device first and then to the
power supply system in the equipment room.
在连接电源线时，先完成电源线与设备侧的连接，再进行电源线与机房供电系统的连
接，以免造成人身伤害。
The power cord connection in the following figures is for illustration only.
电源线的安装请以实际发货为准，图片仅供参考。

Connecting Ethernet cables
Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the target Ethernet port on the device and the other
end of the cable to the peer Ethernet interface.
将以太网线缆一端连接到设备的固定以太网口，另一端连接到对端设备的以太网口。

Connecting optical fibers
Insert the transceiver module into the fiber port. Identify the Rx and Tx ports on the
transceiver module. Use the optical fiber to connect the Rx port and Tx port on the
transceiver module to the Tx port and Rx port on the peer end, respectively.
将光模块缓慢插入光接口插槽，确认光模块的Rx和Tx口，将光纤一端的两个LC型连接器分别
插入Rx和Tx口，再将光纤另一端分别插至对端设备的Tx和Rx口。

Connecting the console cable Console
To use a console cable to connect the console port on the device to a PC, connect the DB9
connector of the console cable to the RS-232 port on the PC first and then connect the RJ-45
connector of the cable to the console port on the device. If the PC does not have an RS-232
port but a USB port, use a USB to RS-232 adapter for the USB port.
PC通过Console口电缆与设备连接时，应先连接Console口电缆的DB9端到PC的RS-232接
口，再连接Console口电缆的RJ45连接器到设备的Console口。当PC没有RS-232接口
只有USB接口时，需要使用USB转RS-232转接器连接到Console口电缆。
