Warning –Batteries
•When inserting batteries, note the correct
polarity (+ and -markings) and insert the
batteries accordingly.Failure to do so could
result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
•Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries)
that match the specied type.
•Beforeyou insert the batteries, clean the battery
contacts and the polar contacts.
•Do not allow children to change batteries
without supervision.
•Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries
of adifferent type or make.
•Remove the batteries from products that arenot
being used for an extended period (unless these
arebeing kept ready for an emergency).
•Do not short-circuit batteries.
•Do not charge batteries.
•Do not throw batteries in a re.
•Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
•Never open, damage or swallow batteries or
allow them to enter the environment. They
can contain toxic, environmentally harmful
heavy metals.
•Immediately remove and dispose of dead
batteries from the product.
•Avoid storing, charging or using the device
in extreme temperatures and extremely low
atmospheric pressure(for example, at high
altitudes).
Warning –Button cells
•Do not ingest battery,risk of burns due to
dangerous substances.
•This product contains button cells. If swallowed,
the button cell can cause severeinternal burns
within just two hours and lead to death.
•Keep new and used batteries out of the reach
of children.
•If the battery compartment does not close
securely,stop using the product and keep it out
of the reach of children.
•If you think that batteries wereswallowed
or areinapart of the body,seek medical
assistance immediately.
Warning –Danger of hearing loss
due to alarm
•Loud volumes, even over short periods, can
cause hearing loss.
•Please note that when the alarm is triggered or
when you aretesting the device, the emitted
signal tone generates high sound pressurethat
can quickly cause hearing loss.
•Make sureyou arenot in the immediate vicinity
of the alarm speaker for morethan 3minutes
during atest or when the alarm is triggered.
4. Getting started and operation
It’s so simple:
•Download the Hama Smart Solution app from
the Apple App StoreoronGoogle Play.
•Open theHama SmartSolution app.
•If you’re using it forthe rsttime, you’ll have to
registerand create anew account. If youalready
have an account, log in usingyourlogin details.
•First youhavetointegrate thesiren in theapp.To
do so, you connectthe siren to theincludedUSB
cable and to apermitted power supply unit. Please
alsorefertothe operating instructions for the
power supply unit.
•Thenconnectthe power supply unit to aproperly
installedsocket.
•If youwanttooperate thesiren using battery
power,turnthe bottom of thedevice clockwise and
remove it.Now inserttype CR123A batteries with
the correct polarity.For standardmains operation,
no batteries arenecessary.
•Wait untilthe LEDs begin to ash quickly.
•Click ‘+’inthe upper-rightcorner in the app and
selectthe ‘Sensors’category.
•Click ‘OK’ to conrm that the sirenisashing
quickly.
•Thenenterthe name of your WiFinetwork andthe
password,and conrm.
•Once the connection has beenestablished, theapp
conrmsthat the sirenwas connected. Youcan now
give it aname.
•Click ‘Finish’tocomplete theprocess.
•Youcan now rename, set and congure yourdevice.
Note –Pairing restart
First remove the bottom of the device by turning
it clockwise. Press and hold the Reset button on
the bottom of the siren for about 5seconds until
the device ashes quickly.
