5. Sicherheitshinweise
•Die Zeitschaltuhr entspicht der Vorschrift IP 44, das heißt, die Uhr
ist Spritzwasser geschützt und somit für den Außenbereich geeignet.
Es darf kein direktes Strahlwasser (z.B. aus einem Gartenschlauch
oder anderen Bewässerungssystemen) auf das Produkt gerichtet
werden! Betreiben Sie das Produkt entweder im Innenbereich oder
im geschützten Außenbereich, z.B. unter einem Dachvorsprung oder
in einer Garage. Setzen Sie das Produkt niemals Niederschlägen aus!
Andernfalls besteht die Gefahr eines lebensgefährlichen elektrischen
Schlages!
•Schließen Sie die Zeitschaltuhr niemals an ein Verlängerungskabel oder
einen Adapter an, sondern nur direkt an die Steckdose, da dies sonst
zu Überhitzung führen kann.
•Verwendung der Zeitschaltuhr nur in festinstallierten Wandsteckdosen.
•Betreiben Sie das Produkt nicht außerhalb seiner in den technischen
Daten angegebenen Leistungsgrenzen.
•Gerät vor der Reinigung vom Netz trennen
•Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem trockenen, fusselfreien Tuch.

1. Programmierung von Ein-/Ausschaltzeiten
Für die Programmierung von Einschaltzeiten werden die schwarzen Reiter
entsprechend der gewünschten Uhrzeit nach unten gedrückt. 1Reiter
entspricht 30 Minuten. Wirdeine längereZeitspanne benötigt, müssen ent-
sprechend mehr Reiter (30 Minuten Schritte) nach unten gedrückt werden.
Ausschaltzeiten: Reiterstellung >oben
2. Einstellen der aktuellen Uhrzeit
Die Zeitwählscheibe wirdimUhrzeigersinn so lange gedreht, bis der Pfeil
auf dem Innenring der Wählscheibe auf die aktuelle Uhrzeit zeigt.

Anschluss der Schaltuhr ans Netz,

Schaltuhr
Den Stecker der Schaltuhr in eine 230 V
Schutzkontaktsteckdose stecken, danach
den Netzstecker (IP44) des zu schaltenden
Elektrogerätes in die Schutzkontaktsteckdose
des Timers stecken. Das Produkt darf nur
im
Innenbereich oder im geschützten Außen-
bereich verwendet werden (z.B. unter einem
Dachvorsprung, in einer Garage o.ä.).
Die Zeitschaltuhr darf nur in der nachfolgend beschriebenen Position
betrieben werden. Die Steckdose muss oben liegen, das Drehrad für die
Zeiteinstellung unten.

(increments of 30 minutes) must be pushed down.

2. Setting the current time
Turn the time dial clockwise until the arrow on the inner ring of the dial
points to the current time.
3. Connecting the timer switch to the
mains, connecting electrical devices to
the timer switch
Insert the timer switch’splug into a230 V
socket with earth contact. Then insert the
mains plug (IP44) of the electrical device
to be switched into the timer’ssocket with
earth contact. The product may only be used
indoors or in protected outdoor areas (e.g.
below eaves/roof overhang, in agarage, etc.).
The timer switch may only be operated in the
position described in the following. The socket must face upwards and
the dial for setting the time must face downwards.

specications.
•Disconnect from the mains beforecleaning the device.
•Clean the device using only adry,lint-free cloth.
•Do not use this product with any devices that aremotorised or any devic-
es that have arotating component or workpiece. Thereisarisk of injury.
•Immediately disconnect the device from the mains if defects occur and
do not operate it any longer.
•Repair work may only be performed by authorised specialists.
•Keep this product, as all electrical products, out of the reach of children!
•Connect the product only to asocket that has been approved for the
device. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be
easily accessible.
