Read and followall the instructions in this “User Manual” even if you feel you are familiar with the
product, and find a place tokeep it handy forfuture reference.
Your attentionis drawn particularlyto the sectionsconcerning “IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS” and
“FOR YOUR SAFETY".
For yourconveniencerecord the complete model number (located on the product identification plate)
and the date you received the product, togetherwith yourpurchase receiptand attach tothe warranty
and service information. Retain in theevent that warranty service is required.
NOTE: The rating of this product(as marked onthe productidentification plate) is based on specific
loading tests. Normal use or the use of other recommended attachments may draw significantly less
power.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

WARNING - to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property:
•Always operate the product from a power source of thesame voltage, frequency and rating as
indicated on the product identificationplate.
•This appliance is not intended for useby persons (including children) with reducedphysical,
sensory ormental capabilities, orlackof experience and knowledge, unless theyhave been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•Do not operateany productwith a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunctions,or is
droppedor appears damaged in anyway.Return the complete product to the place ofpurchase for
inspection, repair or replacement.
•Do not twist, kink orwrap the power cord around the appliance,as this may cause the insulationto
weaken and split particularly where it enters the unit.
•To reduce the risk ofelectric shock,do not immerseorexpose the productor flexible cord to rain,
moisture or any liquid other than those necessary for correct operation of the product.
•This product should notbeused in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub, washbowls,
basins, showers or swimming pools, containing liquidswhere the likelihood of immersion or
splashing could occur.
•Avoid touching the heater body whilst the heater is on. If the unit needsto be moved, switch off
and only hold the heater by the handles where provided.
•Switch offand unplug fromoutletwhen not inuse, before assembling ordisassembling parts and
before cleaning. Remove bygrasping the plug - do notpull on the cord.
•Do not usethe appliance for other than its intendeduse.
•Do not leave the applianceunattended when switched on.
•Do not use this appliance outdoors.

•Do not place objects on the product or allowobjectsto obstruct the inlet oroutlet openings, or
operate in close proximity to walls or curtains, or locate the heater immediatelybelow a socket
outlet.
•The use ofattachments oraccessories not recommended or sold bythe productdistributor may
cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
•This product isintended fornormal domestic/householduse only, andonly to be used on the floor.
•Do not mount on ceilings or walls
•Children should be supervised to ensure thatthey do not play withthe appliance.
•Never cover the heater as this may lead to risk of fire.
•Keep combustible materials such as drapes and other furnishings at least 2 metres from the front,
sides, and rear of the heater.
NOTE: Your heater is fitted with a safety device that switches the heater off, shouldthe unit overheat or
tip over, it will switch off automatically. If this should occur, all you need to do is:
•Disconnect the plug from the electrical socket for at least 5 minutes.
•Ensure the heater is not covered and nothing is obstructing any of the vents.
•Plug theheaterback into the electrical socketand switch the heater ON.
•If the heater fails to operateand the safety device switchestheheateroff again, return the
heater to your nearest service centre for examination or repair.
•If the heater has tipped over. Repeat the above instructions, and ensure that the heater is
positioned on a level surface.

HOW TO OPERATE:
1. Remove the unit from the box and take off any protective wrapping, and unwind the cord to its full
length.
2. Place the heater on a smooth level surface at least 50cm away from any obstacles.
3. Plug your fan heater into the power supply, making sure the master button is set to ‘Off’. Make sure
the power supply corresponds to the power indicated on the rating label and the heater is not
placed immediatelybelowa socket outlet. Turn the master button ‘On’.
4. Press the on/off button – the heater will blow cool air initially until the heat setting is chosen. Press
one of the1000W button for low heating mode and press the other 1000W button for high heating
mode.
SWING BUTTON
This appliance also has a swing function. To switch the function on, press the swing button. To turn it
off, press the swing switch again.
HINTS/TIPS TO RETAIN THE HEAT IN YOUR HOME:
•Do not overheatyourhome,in winter the temperatureof a heated room should be between 18-
21°C
•Choose the right size heater for theroomthat you wish to heat.
•Zone off the unoccupied rooms by closing doors, and curtains to limit heat loss.
•Use draft stoppers where possible,to keep the coldair from filtering in underdoors.
•Avoid placing items,or sitting too closeto theheaterforoptimal airflow.
CLEANING AND STORING:
•Always disconnect the appliance from the main power outletbefore cleaning.
•Clean the outside ofthe heaterby wiping with a damp, lint free cloth.
•Do not use any detergents/solvents or chemical agents to clean the heater.
•Make sure that the heater has cooled down completely before storing. Storing the heater in its
original box is highly recommended.

WARRANTY:
This appliance has no user serviceable parts. In the event that it is dropped or damaged in any way, or
fails to operate it should be returned to the place of purchase, together with your purchase receipt or
the address below for repair or replacement.
