How to use 1006KI control analog PTZ which is
directly connected

If you want to use the 1006KI to connect more than 1 PTZ directly by RS485 without
DVR, you need to make sure you use the parallel connection.
1. Open the device and choose SET button.

3. Go to the Serial Port and Choose ① RS-485

4. Then you can see this page. The Add. Bit0 is the Broadcast address which means if
you choose this channel, you can control all PTZ in the same time. But if you want
to control the different PTZ, you need to set different Add. Bit for all of them. (You
should notice that this Add need to match the address on the device.)
E.g. If the SW1 switch on the PTZ 1 is 1, we need to set our Add. Bit as 1 too. And
normally the default Baud Rate is 2400. For the Protocol, you can choose the
HIKVISION. Then press OK button to save the setting. Then we have finished 1
PTZ’s setting. You also need to configure another 4
Notice: I have confirm with R&D colleague that all kinds of analog speed dome
have the DIP Switch. So you just need to find it. And make sure PTZ have the
different address and do the setting as I mentioned above.

5. Then press the MODE button to pick the control mode : 6. To Analog Dev
6. If you want to control the PTZ which address is 1, you can press the button 1 and
CAM. Then you can use the joystick to control it. For another PTZ, you can also do
the operation as the same. Just remember they need to set the different address.
