Your Hill Table comes upholstered in a hi hly durable vinyl material. Its appearance is uarded by Prefixx™
brand protective finish. Your upholstery may be cleaned with the Hill Laboratories Vinyl Cleaner or any non-
abrasive household deter ent without chan e to surface luster. Stubborn stains can be cleaned with most
common solvent cleaners such as naphtha (li hter fluid), rubbin alcohol (IPA type), toluene, Coleman as,
turpentine (paint thinner), and nail polish remover (50/50 mixture of acetone and water) with no chan e to
surface luster or color. One hundred percent acetone can also be used for short periods but it is su ested
that it first be tested on an inconspicuous area of the table.
Caution: These solvents are hi hly flammable; exercise proper care when cleanin with these materials and do
not use near open flame or intense heat. Wear rubber loves durin all cleanin activities. When cleanin other
parts of your table (besides upholstery) use only nonabrasive household deter ents and water.
C A UTI O N A N D SY M BO L E X P L A NA TI O N
Cautio : Be sure to unplu your table before performin any maintenance on the table.
Cautio : The table should be checked once a year to make sure all internal and external bolts are secure.
Cautio : The table should be in its lowest hei ht position when not attended.
Cautio : In case of power outa e, the table will rely on the enerator back-up of the facility where the table is
installed for powerin the table to its lowest position.
Cautio : The power cord shall be located to avoid objects bein rolled over or placed on top of it and also to
avoid people trippin over it. Dama ed cords should be replaced with another of hospital rade.
Caution:
Groundin reliability can only be achieved when the equipment is connected to an
equivalent receptacle marked hospital only or hospital rade.

TO AVOID INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE CHAIR, NEVER SIT OR LEAN ON
THE FOOT SECTION WHEN IT IS RAISED TO THE HORIzONTAL POSITION!
The foot secon is desi ned to support a seated paent’s feet and lower le s only.
To prevent any risk to paent or chair, always adjust the foot secon down before
a paent exits the chair.

The Manual Lift Back is controlled by a manual switch
located on the ri ht side of the chair as you face the back.
Press and hold the switch to freely adust the an le of the
cushion. Release to lock the cushion in place.
FO OT P E DA L S
The foot pedal controls the hei ht of the chair. Pressin the ri ht
side raises the elevation and pressin the left side lowers the
hei ht. An additional foot pedal may be added if an optional
electric lift back is added.
FO L D -DOW N F O O T SE C T I O N
The Fold-Down Foot Section has a slide out T-bar which sup-
ports the foot cushion in the “UP” position (see “A”) and slides
back under the seat when not in use. For chairs
equipped with a manual switch-lock, press and hold the
switch (as seen above) to freely adust the an le of the
cushion. Release to lock the cushion in place.

The 90MD stirrups are located on both sides of the main
seat cushion. Their len th can be adjusted by loosenin the
black knob (A, photo 7), pullin the stirrup out to
the desired position, and then ti htenin the knob
a ain. When not in use, the black foot section folds
down and under the cushion (photo 8). Photo 8

When the optional fold-down armrests
are positioned in the normal position
(shown in Photo A), they can be easily
folded back by liftin from the bottom
until the armrests are parallel with the
back cushion (Photo B). Rated at 10
pounds and tested with 80 pounds.

The optional adjustin headpiece can be moved
in both the forward-backward direction and
up-down. To adjust the forward position of the
headpiece, loosen the black knob directly behind
the head cushion (“A” in photo) and adjust the
cushion position. Then, reti hten the knob.
Repeat the same procedure for the up and down
adjustment (“B” in photo). Rated at 20 pounds
and tested with 160 pounds.

The optional Rocker Foot Pedal operates the hei ht of the
table from either side of the table base. Press the ri ht side
of the pedal for “UP” and the left side for “DOWN”.
The pedal will return to the neutral position when released.

Armboard inserts from either
side of the chair and
ti htens with a knob.
It can be positioned and locked at various
an les vertically and horizontally as shown in the
photos left and ri ht. The Armboard is rated at
10 pounds/tested with 80 pounds.
C A S TE R S
The optional casters are located at both ends of the
table base and facilitate easy table movement. The
photo shows the casters in the disen a ed position.
To move the table, en a e both sets of casters by
liftin the handles from the horizontal position (“A”)
up to the strai ht-up position. The table will lift
approximately 1/2" from the floor with the caster
wheels touchin the floor and able to roll. Move the table to the desired location. With the
table moved, be sure to disen a e both sets of casters by pushin the handles back down to
the horizontal position. IMPORTANT: Never allow a patient to be on the table while the
casters are en a ed.
